During the registration I was already asked if I could fly the next day (5th of January) and I declined that offer. Then everyone borded the plane and everything seemed to be ok. The plane was already moving to take off but then suddenly we stopped. We were not moving for around 30 minutes already when we were notified that due to some technical problems our flight will be delayed for 30 minutes. After another 30 minutes they said the same thing. After some time they said that we are waiting for the engineers to come and then we would go back to the terminal.So after more than 3 hours of just sitting and waiting inside the plane our plane returned back to the terminal. Of all the people got off the plane. People were separated into two groups, those people who will board the same plane again and fly, and those who would have to wait and take another plane. Since I already missed my connectiong flight because of this huge delay, I had to wait for another flight for another 3 hours. So the new connecting flight was very inconvenient because after I arrive to Kazakhstan on 4th of January late evening, I would have to wait until the next day evening ( 7pm) for my connecting flight. Not only was it inconvenient, I also missed my train back in Ukraine because I would arrive to Kyiv a day later than planned. So my money were wasted and I had to buy a new train ticket. Although the company (Astana Air) did provide us with a hotel and a transfer to the hotel, their work was not professional. After our arrival to the Almaty airport, we had to wait for aroud 1.5 hours for our taxi to arrive and bring us to the hotel. That was just awful since we got to the hotel only at 1am. The next day there were no problems with the connecting flight.
