They said, I have no the citizenship of the Russian Federation and just have the residence status and I can not fly because I have a wrong Covid test.

We had come to the beginning of registration. We were kept in line at the registration desk, then at the security check, then at passport control. When we finally made it to the gate we were told that boarding was over and we couldn't board the plane. Though they said that later that day or the next day there'd be another plane to Larnaca and they'd board us on it so we'd just need to come to the Cyprus Airways' desk at the airport. Which happened to be not true and it looks like that statement was intended to lull our vigilance. Moreover there was neither Cyprus Airways desk nor their employee at the airport as we found out later. We called their support line, but they said that this was totally our fault and they were not going to refund us anything except 75 euro per ticket (which is about 28% of its actual price). And most outrageously, they said that they had also cancelled our return tickets without any refund or compensation motivating it by the fact that it was the same booking. Additional facts: - At registration desk we were silently given boarding passes with different seats than we'd chosen before. Without any explanation or attracting our attention to this fact. We found it out later. - No airport announcement was made that the boarding of our plane was finished nor about its missing passengers. We were carefully listening to all the announcements at the airport. - We were told at the gate that they'd called to passport control looking for us which seems not to be true, because no one at passport control said anything about that or that we need to hurry up.
