While Asiana Airlines is based in Korea, they still fly to other regions including the EU, UK, and US. Because of this, you can expect the airline to abide by the passenger rights regulations for your departure country.

If you’re departing from the EU or UK, you will be protected by EU261 and UK261, whereas if you are flying from the US, you will be protected by US air passenger rights.

For baggage loss, delay or damage, your rights are protected by the Montreal Convention. The rules of this international treaty state that Asiana Airlines must provide up to $2,088.64 in reimbursement and compensation if your belongings are mishandled.
