Your Passenger Rights with Enter Air
Even smaller airlines must comply with the air passenger rights regulations of the European Union and United Kingdom. Because Poland is a EU member state, passengers on Enter Air flights will be protected whenever they fly to, from or within the EU or UK.
Your air passenger rights in these regions are protected by EU261 and UK261 and ensure your fair treatment whenever you encounter:
- Flight delays
- Flight cancellations
- Denied boarding caused by overbooking
- Missed connections
The regulations ensure that airlines, like Enter Air, compensate their passengers for the inconvenience of these kinds of flight disruptions as long as the cause was something that could have been avoided.
This means that as a passenger, you are entitled to certain provisions including:
- Food and drink
- Cash compensation
- Alternate flights or refunds

Enter Air Delayed Flights
When you have a flight delay, your entitlements will depend largely on how long your delays last. For example, if your delay is at least 2 hours long, then Enter Air must provide you with meals and refreshments.
Cash compensation only becomes a possibility if your delay is at least 3 hours long and within Enter Air’s control. When you’ve been delayed for 5 hours, then you should be offered a choice of a new flight at no extra cost or a refund. Plus, if you choose to get refunded and not continue on your journey, then the airline must also pay for the unused parts of your ticket and a return flight to wherever you began your travel.
Bear in mind that you may also get cash compensation on top of these entitlements if your flight disruption was NOT caused by extraordinary circumstances.
Enter Air Canceled Flights
No matter what caused your flight to be canceled, you are entitled to care and compensation in certain situations as stated in EU and UK law.
Any time your Enter Air flight is canceled with less than 14 days notice, you must be provided with:
- A rebooked flight or a refund
- Care and assistance if you have to wait at least 2 hours for you replacement flight
- Hotel accommodation and transport if you have to wait until the next day for departure
- Cash compensation if the airline is at fault for the canceled flight
On the other hand, if Enter Air cancels your flight with a minimum of 2 weeks notice before departure, then you won’t be eligible for cash compensation, but you can still get refunded or rebooked.
Involuntary Denied Boarding & Missed Connections
If your flight with Enter Air has been oversold and you are denied boarding as a result, then you should be provided with:
- A replacement flight or
- A refund and
- Financial compensation
However, if you were denied boarding because of other reasons like being intoxicated or unruly, the airline is not liable for compensation.
If you have stopovers and miss a connecting flight because of earlier flight disruptions, then you may also get a replacement flight to your next connecting point or your final destination. If the earlier delays were part of the same booking with Enter Air, then you can also get cash compensation as long as the airline was responsible for the earlier disruption.
Cash Compensation: How Much Can You Get from Enter Air
Your monetary compensation depends on the number of hours you’re delayed past your originally scheduled arrival time and the distance of your journey. You could receive anywhere from $270 (€250) to $650 (€600).

What are Extraordinary Circumstances?
When a flight is disrupted because of extraordinary circumstances it means that the airline had no way of preventing or avoiding the situation. As a result, passengers are ineligible for cash compensation but they will still get the other entitlements like rebookings and care and assistance.
There are many kinds of extraordinary circumstances, but some of the most common ones are:
- Dangerous weather
- Airport strikes
- Civil unrest
- Security threats
- Air traffic control restrictions
As soon as you have a delay or cancellation, ask a reputable source such as airline or airport staff what caused it to happen. This information will help you when you file a compensation claim.
