Gulf Air Flight Delay and Cancellation Compensation

Flight delayed over 24 hours. No reply from gulf regarding complaint. Raised with CAA and they have stated in writing that I am due the compensation.

Flight was delayed over 24 hours in the end. Gulf is not replying to the complaint. I raised the complaint with the CAA and they have said they believe I am entitled to the compensation by their assessment (I have it in writing).

Both the flights were delayed. The delay was reported twice and delay became substantial with arrival time ar final destination Becoming delayed my more than 15 hours. After substantial delay I chose not to fly as I had urgent matter the next day. I urged the airline for support and discuss regarding the need to put me on another flight but didn’t get any support. I booked a separate flight which I am taking from Milan to New Delhi on a different carrier.

Flight day before was delayed so I made the next day no flight available

After booking in my fligt was cancelled, I was put up in a hotel for 1 night and flown out next day with ThaiAir TG931

We should have gone at 10am on the 09/09/2022 but actually left 17.00pm and got there at 02.30 on the 10/09/2022 then left at 23.05 on the 10/09/2022 so between them times we remain at k Hotel in Manama then left for flight at 23.05pm to Male and arrived at 06.05am on 11/09/2022 arriving at resort at 11.30am on 11/09/2022

The flight was delayed and we reached destination after 24 hours

Flight from Manchester to Bahrain was supposed to set off at 9-15am. Its 15-45 and we are still sitting and waiting for the aircraft to depart. I have missed my connection flight from Bahrain to Islamabad and have missed an important meeting in Islamabad and have had monetary loss. I was not informed of the delay until this morning and was told its been delayed by 4 hours but now its gone past 6 hours and there are still no signs of moving. I have been told that once I reach Bahrain they will give me accommodation and also a flight to my destination tomorrow or when available. This is appreciated but still I want compensation and a refund for my ticket.

My flight got cancelled from London Heathrow on 5th of August originally scheduled at 22:05 to Bahrain and from there I had a connecting flight to Karachi Jinnah International Airport after 7 hours. The flight was initially delayed due to technical issue as we were told and after that, there was sever miscommunication on the update of the flight. Upon calling Gulf air customer service, they mentioned that they were unaware of the situation and could not help except for requesting us to wait. I was supposed to reach Pakistan on Saturday and I reached on Monday instead. Given that it was my wedding on 12th of August, the wedding got delayed because of flight delay as there were other things connected to my arrival in Pakistan. I seek full refund of the inconvenience caused by Gulf air and the lies they told.

Check in was at 6pm. We were left hanging about the airport till 11.20pm with very little information.

On 7th august 2022 my flight's at 10am , but it’s been delay for more then 6hours in London gulf air take off at 4.30 pm and Bangalore flight also delayed Very disappointed to reach 9th august 2022 this time, plz inform if theirs any benefits to apply for delay flight.

the class was business, we missed the connection flight and the airline reschedule it to 3:45 AM

I was in airport and in queue for check in but they said it is delayed for 2 hrs then 3 hrs and they cancelled

I reached heathrow and was in queue for check in and waited for 2 hours lately they informed it is delayed for 3 hours and then cancelled it . I arrived on 7th that’s 24 hrs late

Got to LHR, was told at check in flight had not taken off yet from Bahrain. As a result flight would leave at 3pm - this meant I would miss my connecting flight from Bahrain to manila with Gulf Air and subsequently would also miss my flight from Manila to Cebu, booked separately through Cebu Pacific.

We had to wait 26 hrs at heathrow airport and 13 hrs at Bahrain airport. Our planned arrival was June 26, 2022 at 20:50 and we reached chennai on June 28, 2022 at 5:20 am. The reason told us was baggage handling issue in London heathrow Airport for Gulf Air and few airlines. The flight was scheduled at June 25th 22:00 and initially rescheduled to next day morning 9:00. But it got again rescheduled 3 more times and finally we departed the airport at 23:00 on June 26th. I travelled with my wife and two daughters of age 8 and 12. The airline didn't provide any accommodation and asked to stay in the airport. The kids couldn't sleep properly and suffered the whole night.

Flight was on the 25th June 22:05 Waited in the check in line from 6pm Didn’t move one step closer to later find out the flight has been cancelled did not go home as we had no transport and I came with my family 14 of us 8 children 7 adults we then had an announcement at 22:05 (flight departure time ) to go home everyone on the flight was not happy so security and police got involved 12 at night we had the police man promise us a 9am flight for the 26th June he said go home or make ur self comfortable we could not go home could not afford a £3000 hotel so we slept at terminal 3 on the floor then we came down at 5 am so we could check in at 6 to find out we don’t have a flight at this point we had no sleep we were hungry cold and angry we then got offered blankets after being there the whole night it was repetitive then they said our flights at 10 am find out that’s also lies then they said 1:30 check in we promise u have a flight we got in the line at 1 till 6pm we stood in the line because our flight was 22:00 it was dreadfully and then when checking in to find out we have no connecting flight from Bahrain to Lahore we got to Lahore and they said they would speak to the Pakistan embassy it was a 2 hour wait otherwise they said we have no flight till the 30th June mins travelling since 25th anyway we got lucky with a special flight after the worse hours .

Both the flights were delayed due to some issue. When I reached my final destination it was around midnight, I missed my last bus to Mangalore, I had a book a room and stay in a hotel for that night

GF006 from London Bahrain was cancelled on 25/06/2022, no accommodation was given that night and we had to stay in the floor of airport, Information about flight was completely wrong, they promised next flight is by 9 AM the next day of our date of travel but it got cancelled at the last minute as well and finally after 26 hrs flight took off

My journey from Heathrow to Bahrain was delayed by more than 26 hours, which they blamed on a luggage problem at Heathrow. The flight that was supposed to leave at 22:05 on Saturday had been cancelled just an hour before boarding, and then they told us that we would be flying in the next flight at 9am the next day, and again they delayed it, and they kept doing this with different timings every 3 hours until we finally boarded the flight at 22:05 on Sunday, and then it was delayed by 1hr 30 minutes, so we left the airport at 1:30 am on Monday. We were not provided with a hotel during this time, and after arriving in Bahrain, my next flight was 13 hours away, and they refused to provide us with a hotel, claiming that we were abnormal passengers.

Basically, my flight was supposed to take off from Manchester at 9:15 am and get to Bahrain, then I had a 1hr 45 minute layover in Bahrain and supposed to land in Dubai at 10:35 pm local time. The flight in Manchester was delayed by 2 hours, hence I missed my connecting flight and now I've been given a seat on the next flight to Dubai which means that I will land at 4:15 am local time, hence a 5hr 40 minute difference, I had a family emergency that I had to attend, and the airline didn't give me any consideration and now I'm going to miss it. I want to be compensated for this because I'm really not happy with Manchester Airport service, it took me 3hours to get passed check in and security, I was standing queued up in the parking lot of the airport to simply enter...

My flight cancelled due to strike of airport personnel

Our flight was due for 04/12/2021 at 9.30 am, we sat on the plane for 1 hour we were then told to get of the plane and go back to the waiting area, we were there for 6 hours in waiting area we left LHR AT 5 PM that's 7 half hours delay, due to the delay we missed our connecting flight, Dec 04 8:10 PM 4:10 AM GF 250 BAH to DAC We were then issued with flight for the following day 5/12/2021 Sun, Dec 05 9:10 PM 5:10 AM GF 250 BAH to DAC that another 24hrs delay with 2 children and a missed 1 day of the holiday. By the time we left BAHRAIN our covid PCR certificate had expired, Me and my partner had to then redo our PCR TEST AT BAHRAIN AIRPORT WHICH COST 90 Bahrain dinar to POUND WAS ABOUT £180 pounds, PLUS WE HAD TO SPEND ON FOOD ABOUT ANOTHER £100

I had an email from both gulf air and the travel agent advising me the flight from London Heathrow to Faisalabad airport was cancelled. I was given a refund from the travel agent minus £30 for administration costs. I wasn't offered another flight or any alternative so went on to book my flight through a different travel agent and airline.

The airline denied for the boarding and said you are not allowed to stay for more than 12 hours in Bahrain my stay in Bahrain airport is 20 hours. There is nothing on there website and they have not provide me any document which said like this. They the ticket is not valid but it’s appearing in there system when I checked my PNR number. I have we urgent situation that’s why I booked this flight and spend almost my lot of money to go to airport and Return to home. All happens at the airport when I am going to check in at the airline counter. Counter person said connection is cancelled and manager said you are not allowed due to stay all very embarrassing for me.
