I booked a roundtrip flight from Berlin to Tenerife September 17th to 21st. On September 16th less than 24 hours before my outbound flight, the airline cancelled my return flight. I got in contact with them and the only option offered was with 2 stops and 13 instead of 7 hours duration. The airline explained this is the only option for me to fly on the 21st. I am working full-time so I was not able to extend my stay in Tenerife and fly back on a different day. I initially took the offer since they did not give me another opportunity, however afterwards I found out I need to be in Berlin earlier on the 21st so I had to book another flight with a different airline and Swiss declined to refund me or even give me a voucher.
