Are Enter Air Delayed and Cancelled Flights Common?

No airline is perfect, and every time you take the skies, you risk having your flight cancelled or delayed. In Europe, using data from our study on the top 15 airlines, we found that air passengers experienced an average on-time rate in 2023 of 82.2%. This is up significantly from 76.05% in 2022.

Although the trend in on-time arrivals with European airlines is on the rise, that still leaves almost 20% of flights arriving behind schedule. And the 2023 cancellation rate in Europe was 1.49%, up from 1.39% in 2022.

As a Polish Airline based in Warsaw, the good news for Enter Air disruptions is that in 2023, Warsaw Chopin Airport had an on-time departure rate of 87.13%, the second-best in Europe according to OAG. The departure cancellation rate was also good at 0.56%.

Enter Air Commonly Disrupted Routes

The Enter Air flights delayed list can have any of the company’s flights on it. Enter Air doesn’t fly to very many destinations, and focuses on Spain, Cape Verde, and Greece, from either Warsaw or Katowice. These are the Enter Air-served airports that have the lowest on-time departures in the last 30 days from Airportia:

  • Chania International Airport: 46% of flights were delayed more than 15 minutes. The average delay time was 55 minutes. This would affect flights ENT 14RM and ENT 74NJ.
  • Katowice International Airport: 33% of flights were delayed by over 15 minutes. The average delay time was 40 minutes and would apply to flights like ENT 7051 and ENT 7027.
  • Malaga Costa del Sol Airport: 32% of departing flights were late by an average of 39 minutes. This would affect flight ENT 1654.

Why Does Enter Air Cancel Certain Flights?

If your Enter Air route is on the flights cancelled list, you're likely curious about the cause. Although each situation can vary, some of the most common reasons for flight cancellations include:

  • Crew shortages or strikes involving Enter Air employees.
  • Adverse weather conditions that make flying unsafe.
  • Security concerns that can impact operations.
  • Air Traffic Control restrictions limiting the number of flights.
  • Mechanical or maintenance issues with the aircraft.

Can You Completely Avoid Enter Air Flight Disruptions?

While most Enter Air delays or cancellations occur due to factors beyond your control, we do have a few strategies to lower your chances of being affected:

  • Fly earlier in the day. Booking morning flights can help minimize the likelihood of delays. Since early flights are typically the first to depart, they are less likely to be impacted by delays accumulated throughout the day.
  • Opt for direct flights only. Luckily all of Enter Air’s flights are direct currently, but if you’re adding an Enter Air flight to another flight or two, you risk missing a connection, which will significantly disrupt your trip.
  • Assess route performance: If possible, avoid routes known for frequent delays or cancellations. Use our list above, and if you can’t avoid the delay altogether, at least you can better prepare for it.

What to Do When Your Enter Air Flight Faces Disruption

  1. Think about alternate flights. When delays are significant or your route is on the Enter Air flights cancelled list, looking for suitable alternatives can help preserve your trip. Do this quickly, as many other passengers will be in your situation and looking to do the same.
  2. Check your flight status often. Come back frequently to check our Enter Air disruptions list. Flights that get cancelled don’t usually get “uncancelled,” but delay times can vary as the flight either makes up time or picks up further delays.
  3. Educate yourself on EU passenger rights. Regulation EU 261 is the perfect tool to guide your complaints to Enter Air and how much of a payout to expect. Get to know the rights specific to European passengers for all flights on the Enter Air problems list. Additionally, our helpful (and free) compensation checker can give you an estimate of compensation to let you judge any impromptu offers made by Enter Air.
  4. Get help from the flight compensation experts. At AirAdvisor, we have helped over 250,000 passengers get the maximum remuneration from airlines. We can deal with Enter Air for you and increase your chances of success.
