The flight got delyad for 75min. Insead of arriving at 3:10 in Chicago we arrived at 4:10 pm. i told the stuardeses that we need to leave the airplane first bc our flight was leaving in 1 hour for Detroit. They said ok. When we arrived at the airport they announced that every passanger that will depart before 5:30 pm have to check the board outside the airplane. We were a party of five with a sick child. We could not find anything in the board outside the airplane. They told us we have to go to British airline after we pass immigration. We wenyt and they forgot about us. We waited for 2 hours before they put us on the next flight by sending us back to American Flight line to get the tickets. They told us only 2 of our party could leave today but depends on the flight if it was full or not. We left with the American Flight at 8:35 pm all of us but the waiting and sending us back and forth with I sick child it was a very bad experience.
My departing was delayed at Heathrow due to technical issues causing me to miss my connecting flight in Chicago. British Airways offered no assistance and told me I would have to rebook my flight once I arrived in Chicago. I was originally scheduled to land in Kansas City at 5pm but didn’t land until 9:32 pm due to the missed connecting flight. I missed my sister’s 7pm concert as a result of the delay.
