We were Notified of a delay before everyone checked in. Then further updates of delays. Sat at the terminal for over an hr. Finally bored the plane to be told it was delayed due to a fight earlier that day being delayed. Sat on plane for over an hr before it moved. Then were told that bags had yet to be put on due to baggage handlers change in shift and then 3hrs 32 mins later we departed.
Our seats were changed initially as they had to change aircraft and then the new aircraft was missing a part which meant that they had to find this spare part, fit it, test it and then allow passengers on. The flight was TOM856 scheduled for 4.25pm, Friday 2nd September. However we didn’t leave till 7.51pm.
Flight was delayed up to 2 hours due to no plane available them we where told the baggage handerlers were changing shift so they sat us on the plane for another 1hr 15mins until they could load our luggage
