Missed original connecting flight from Boston to Cleveland due to Delayed Flight out of LHR. Finally arrive Cleveland by 10.30 pm. Over 5 hrs later
email received early hours cancelling our morning flight to Boston. Delta said we were rebooked on a BA flight from T5 some 7 hours +later but having gone to T5 we were told Delta had not transferred us correctly to this flight and the flight was full anyway. We went back to T3 and spoke to a Virgin rep who got us on a 17:30 flight to Boston arriving some 7 hours 50 minutes late.
There was a fault with the plane and they needed to sit for a part to be delivered. We had already boarded the plane and had to sit on the plane for 3 hrs waiting
