HV 6505 Flight Delayed: Compensation
If your Transavia Airlines flight HV 6505 departing Amsterdam heading to Amman got delayed, you may be eligible for compensation for a flight delay, which depends on circumstances of a flight disruption. Regulation EU EC261/ 2004 is a European Union regulation that mandates the right to compensation for flight delay inconvenience and lost time for every passenger affected regardless of ticket price and if somebody else paid for tickets.
However, the EU Regulation does not require Transavia Airlines to pay compensation for minor delays less than 3 hours. Eligibility criteria for valid compensation claim requires that your flight HV 6505 must arrive in Amman at least 3 hours late. The distance between Amman and Amsterdam is the one of the major factors that influences the amount of compensation that you might be able to claim for your flight HV 6505.
Tip: If Amman is not your final destination, the amount of compensation must be calculated based on the distance between the point of your original departure: Amsterdam and your ultimate final destination if both flights are booked under the same reservation.
To make sure you don’t miss a chance to claim compensation, our system allows you to instantly check your flight HV 6505 eligibility and determine the correct amount of compensation due to you. It is free to check your flight.

Kindly refer to details for ammar kuwatli claim -------------- We the family were denied boarding on Transavia flight HV6505 on 30th of June at Schiphol airport Amsterdam Gate D14. We showed all related documents including : Travel documents, German ID cards for permanent residents in Germany (we are permanent residents since 2015), We showed Jordanian entry permit under our names, we showed Jordanian entry stamps on travel documents for previous journeys. Transavia staff denied our boarding under the allegation that some of the documents were in Arabic and none of them can read Arabic (despite the Journey was to an Arab country). It seemed that the flight was overbooked since Transavia cancelled some of its flights to Jordan.

I was denied and family from boarding on Transavia flight HV6505 on 30th of June 2022 at Gate D14 under the allegation that we hold travel documents only an not passports. We showed permanent German residency ID cards. We showed that we used same travel documents to travel to same destination on previous flight , In fact I showed stamps on these travel documents in addition to entry permit issued by Jordanian ministry of interior showing clearly our names(despite the document itself was in Arabic language) . Transavia staffs said they cannot read Arabic!. I asked for anyone of staff to read documents baring in mind that the flight itself is to Jordan (which is an Arab country and there should be one of the staff at least who can read Arabic). They did not even bother to check my documents. I later reported this case to police check point at Schiphol airport who translated the document immediately via google translate and wondered why I was denied from boarding. It seems that Transavia overbooked this flight and wanted to get rid of some passengers (as I discovered later). They ruined our holiday in Jordan.
