I joined he que at 6am in the south terminal for the baggage drop the que was so long and chaotic i did not get on my 8.30 flight , only 2 staff and 4 flights almost on top of each other, 50% of the baggage machines were out of order at any one time. some people were jumping the que and bypassing the staff , going straight to the baggage machines, people at the end of the que were directed to the special needs area and by passed us who had been there over 2 hours before. Staff offered us alternative flights after 8.30 even though the flight had been delayed. i was forced to fly to Murcia if i wanted to arrive in Spain on the same day and i did not arrive to my final destination till 9pm because my connections were very difficult . Yes i missed an afternoon of my holiday and at 69 a lot of stress i could have done without, When i eventually went to the North terminal there were easyjet staff EVERYWHERE the 2 members of staff at the south terminal could not have done more . the situation was appalling.
