Flight was delayed due to a technical fault. 4 hours. I completed the online form and compensation was promised. Payment not received 2 months later although they said it would be a few days. I called, checked they had correct bank details and they said they did.
On the 18th of July I boarded my flight and was seated, then informed there was a delay of an hour. After an hour was informed my flight was canceled. I was told I could fly the following day the 19th of July with a 10 hour lay over in Paris, which at the age of 15 I didn't feel comfortable with such a big lay over in a country where I couldn't speak the language without a parent. I was flying to Barcelona where my father was waiting for me. I was then offered a flight for the 20th of July which I accepted. I then had to leave the airport to travel home by which point my mother had left the airport and I had to travel back through London on my own and didn't arrive home till 23.00pm. My father who was waiting at the airport to collect me had travelled 3hrs to get to the airport and then had to make the 3hr trip home to repeate the 6hr round trip 2 days later. This shortened my holiday visiting my father by nearly 3 days.
