Compensație pentru întârzierea/anularea zborului Qatar Airways

am decolat de la Bucuresti catre Istambul,ca escala, acolo am aflat ca zborul este anulat. am ramas 24h in istambul si am ajuns in zanzibar in 53h in loc de 17.

i had boarded the flight from manchester to Doha sitted inside the flight few mins to take off a man walked up to me saying that i should come with him like am a criminal without telling me anything it was after i had come down from the flight he explained that my flight is cancelled from Doha to Nigeria i was shocked and frustrated after so much stress and tremendous expenses they booked me for next day being 21st again i was preparing the next day for the flight and i was not informed again that the flight was cancelled i had to called by phone again and was told it was cancelled with no notice again. i was told my ticket fee will be refunded but it has not being refunded.

I was booked on the flights listed. And for an unknown reason the airline did not inform me and rebooked on the flight the following day. I think it was overbooked or was cancelled.

Covid-19 complications

The airline did not inform me about the flight cancellation. I just notified when i was at the airport and wanted to get my border pass.

I went to Sabiha airport and i found that flight has been canceled, no one notified me, no mail, no sms , no call I changed my flight to next flight but my connecting flight will be impacted as welll so i changed it as well and transit time will be 12 hours (it was 2 hours only)

I had flight on 10/07/2020 we get boarding pass and went to gate. We have been so long waiting about 8 hours but it was about 21:00 they said the flight has been cancelled and you have to come back the day after at same time

The flight was meant to depart at 15.55. There was technical issues and they kept us in the terminal with little update. After 6hrs of delay, they decided to cancel the flight. We were then taken by taxi to Heathrow and offered a flight for the next day. It was late at night and the taxi driver was driving erratically to our Heathrow hotel. Given the wet, dark driving conditions, we were scared for our life. The following day, we even had to pay our own taxi from the hotel to the airport. Overall a terrible experience with little communication and help from Qatar Airways.

Software problem on the plane. Flight was cancelled and we were put on a flight the next day.

Our fam, 4 persons, was going to fly 09,05 the 23rd to Bali. The flight had a technical problem and would get more information. We got information at 11.00 that we would get more information at 13.00 and then 15.00 and then 18.00. Then we got the information that the flight was canceled. We were rebooked with a flight to Copenhagen 22.00 and then at 23,30, we left for DOHA. We arrived in Bali around 23.30.

Flight delay of the first flight caused us to miss the connecting flight. The connecting flight had left without all the passengers from QR0322 traveling to singapore. They put us on another flight to Jakarta and then from there another one to Singapore. Total delay in arrival in Singapore was 16 hours.

They provide ticket for next day

The first flight from Copenhagen was scheduled at 22:35 but delayed to 00:10. Connecting flight was canceled and rebooked new connecting flight from Doha to Kathmandu. The total delay time was 5 hours.

Changed to another flight with connection to my destination 1 day later

The booking I made with Qatar Airways was Delhi-Doha-Kiev on 24 of June 2019 (Delhi-Doha QR571 10:00-12:00 and Doha-Kiev QR279 15:40-21:10). On 23 of June I received an email saying that there is a change of flight and Doha-Kiev flight was postponed from 24 of June to 25 of June on 6:45. Thus total delay in arrival at Kiev was 15 hours. The reason of this change in my flight Qatar Airways didn't mention.

I came to Beijing and was planning to get to Nanjing next morning but all plans were ruined because of cancelation

I initially booked a flight ticket, reference 157-2747692839 from Budapest to Bangui with a layover in Doha. Together with my group of friends, we committed to a humanitarian aid trip to Bangui with the purpose of developing clean water solutions for the area. We secured a group reservation visa issued by Central African Republic Autorities which is also attached to this email for your review. On 11.15.2018, upon our arrival to the Budapest airport, we attempted to check in to our flight with Qatar Airlines and were able to do so without any issues. However, when I attempted to board the plane, myself and the group that I was travelling with, were told that we will not be allowed on board, citing problems with our visa. Quatar staff said that our traveling documents were written in French, and none was able to read them. They also insisted they were unfamiliar with the type of document(group reservation visa) that we had and denied us access to board the plane. I want to mention that in October, our colleagues flew with your company in Budapest via Bangui with the same procedure and there were no problems. And other colleagues used the same procedure with other airlines and other airports without any problems.The referance in Quatar system was made on the name of Cornel Tirziu XXX, the number reservation XXX. Due to the circumstances, we were forced to spend the night at the Budapest Airport, attempting to secure another flight in very short notice. After many hours of stress and uncertainty, we were finally able to book another flight with Air France and Royal Air Maroc with the route Budapest-Paris-Bangui . Air France had no problems at all recognizing our group visa and we arrived in Bangui without further incident. However, due to the very short notice of our reservation with Air France and Royal Air Maroc, we had to secure our flight at a much higher price than we initially paid to Qatar Airlines. For me it was reasonable Quatar to reimburse us not only for the ticket that we booked with Qatar Airlines (1/2 of it -because the return way remained valid), but also for the difference in price that we were forced to pay for the new travel arrangements. I hope that they find my request more than reasonable and issue the refund expeditiously , especially that our travel purpose was for humanitarian aid and relief for the impoverished Central African Republic. We wrote each of us our request to Quatar ( it was the same for each) and they respond us the next mail: “ This is in reference to your email we received on 04 December 2018. We are sorry to learn of your report that you were unable to travel on QR200/15 November 2018 from Budapest to Doha as originally scheduled. Please allow us to clarify that our staff remain vigilant at all times to ensure passengers meet the minimum immigration requirements for their final destination. We would also like to inform that the information on entry requirements to a certain destination are based on the Travel Information Manual (TIMATIC) which can be accessed by all airlines. Our records indicate that Romanian passport holders require a visa when entering the Central African Republic. We remain concerned to note that you were holding a copy of an issued document representing a visa waiver. In order to ensure the validity of your document, our staff requested assistance from our Nairobi colleagues and our security department. However, as our Budapest colleagues were unable to acquire a confirmation or approval to accept you based on the document you were holding, you were consequently loaded off the flight. We have also noted on our records that your travel agency reissued your original round trip ticket into a one way itinerary for your return flight. Pertinent to the report we received, your travel agency had inquired with our Ticketing office in Romania prior to reissuing your tickets, where they were informed that the fare difference will not be refunded if they will reissue the tickets as one way for your return trip. We can only recommend you to contact your ticket issuing agency for clarifications with regard to the tickets that were issued for your travel. We reiterate our apologies for any inconvenience caused and trust you will understand that our staff were complying with the regulations based on the available information on TIMATIC. In view of this, we regret to advise that we are unable to accommodate your request for reimbursement as stated in your email. Thank you for taking the time to write to us and giving the opportunity to respond.”
