Lufthansa vs Swiss International Air Lines: Which airline is better?

Flight leaving Nice was delayed so I missed my Zurich connection and had to stay overnight in Zurich to take a flight the following day to Miami. I was originally meant to land in Miami on 17:15 on May 30. I finally arrived in Miami at 14:45 on May 31. No care was provided other than rebooking me on a flight. I had to book a stay in a hotel overnight that cost me 306 Swiss Francs

I got to the airport about 4hours ahead of my flight in order to check-in and board only to see on the dashboard that my flight was cancelled. It was only upon reaching the counter that they made arrangement for another flight for me.

I could not get my money back or be refunded. I cannot use the credit with Swiss Airlines for any of my planned trips within the next year. We tried emailing customer service and never heard back. We tried calling and kept getting disconnected after long holds.

The flight supposed to be from Prague. No information at all in advance that flight will be cancelled.

Date of flight changed 2 weeks before the initial departure, then cancelled 4 days before departure

No reason was provided for the cancellation at the time. However, after multiple back-and-forth emails, their customer service conveniently states the cancellation was weather related.

Nobody communicated to us what was happening. After 3h wait at 2 Lufthansa service desks and rude attitude from staff, I got a hotel voucher and rerouted on a non-direct flight, arriving 21h later.

Alternative flight offered was on a different day to a different country over 400 miles away. Have been offered compensation more than 2 months ago but airline failed to repay

They cancelled my flight since I told them I didn’t want anything from them since they failed me two times. I went to the Airport in Vienna to talk to them and there’s no one to talk to. Their system is obscure and confusing and when you call they have no information whatsoever.
