Lufthansa vs Turkish Airlines: Which airline is better?

We have seen, that Turkish Airlines offered a flight, but they cancelled it just one day later, after charging us the flight cost! This is almos criminal in our opinion.

I had to cancel whole the flight. Since turkish airlines knew that they had no flights to Iran at this time but they still sold the ticket, I want my money back!!! This isn't a proper business!

As a part of my flight was cancelled IST-VE and no other flight was previewed form the airline offered to the open working italian airport, instead I was offered to choose or Munich or Vienna as final destination . I choose Munich, no offer from turkish airline for an on going flight to Venice.

Last minute they informed us that the flight was cancelled without giving any reason, so flight was postponed to next morning at 10.40. Once again, flight was cancelled last minute with the excuse of ‘bad weather’.

We delayed in Helsinki and lost connecting flight in Istanbul. We were many hours (more than 5) in Istanbul airport during the night and we didn't get offered hotel or compensation. Not even a second glass of water.

Everything got cancelled. I never got my money back for the flight. I have sent them many mails, but no response or very vague ones. Basically, they have given me some kind of Lufthansa credit, but I can't use that either.

On the day of departure, they just emailed that "your flight is cancelled due to the strike" - no other communications to me. I couldn't reach anyone by phone (waited hours to be connected) and also their website wouldn't let me go on (tried many hours). Nothing was working with Lufthansa, and it was awful

Very traumatic and exhausting experience with 3 little kids. Instead of landing in VNO at 2pm on Dec 15th, we landed in Riga on December 16th, around 1pm, then traveled to our destination for several more hours.

The airline provided no care whatsoever - they even closed the customer support phone line for the next min. 12h There was no way possible to reach Lufthansa, their Buros were closed because it was weekend, phone call did not work and their chat bot (which they advised to use) was not functioning at all
