AirAdvisor actively lobbied for the adoption and stronger enforcement of EU air passenger rights frameworks in Eastern Europe. We also supported the extension of passenger protections in markets where enforcement had historically been weak. - 2019
AirAdvisor was selected as one of the Top 24 Best Startups backed by the MassChallenge Accelerator in Providence, Rhode Island. During the same year, the company won two additional startup competitions, expanded its network of legal partners, and began serving passengers in 10 languages, which marked a major step in its international growth. - Airline insolvency and bankruptcy cases
AirAdvisor has represented thousands of passengers affected by airline insolvencies and liquidations. This helped passengers pursue compensation in situations where recovery was often considered unlikely. So far, we have handled claims connected to more than 10 airline insolvency and bankruptcy proceedings across Europe, and we secured payouts for passengers despite the legal and financial challenges involved in these cases. - Advocacy for passenger rights
AirAdvisor has actively opposed proposals that would weaken existing passenger protections. We launched an e-petition aimed at preventing revisions that would dilute EU air passenger rights, while also supporting initiatives to modernise EU261 by adjusting compensation amounts to reflect inflation and current travel realities.
