Upon Arrival at Frankfurt on 06/11 at 830 I was told that my luggage were on the flight to Amsterdam and will arrive at 1340 at Frankfurt. I did offer to stay and wait for my luggage but would need Delta to help pay for my transport to wait until then. I was told that I will receive my luggage on Friday 07/11. So I left. On 7/11 I received a call from a transport company that then tell me that l will receive my luggage possibly by Thursday 13/11. The airport is only 140 miles from where I stay. I could of driven back there to get my luggage. Why would it take a whole week for me to get my luggage back just blows my mind. So much unnecessary stress added to my trip !!!

I know this happens and we completely understand that airlines do their best to make sure passengers don't have luggage issues but can't prevent issues all the time. We are grateful that we got the bags back eventually. We were told we would have the bag the next day. We did not get it for a few days. Our expenses became a little more than initially expected b/c of this. Once delivered, everything was fine. Thank you for your help.

Upon reaching our gate, the attendant promptly tagged our luggage with pink labels, one for each of us. Despite this, there was ample overhead bin space available once we boarded the aircraft. Our flight from Omaha to Minneapolis experienced a delay of approximately 27 minutes. Upon arrival in Minneapolis, we proceeded directly to our connecting gate without incident. Our subsequent arrival in Seattle was delayed due to unforeseen issues, and we reached our gate just as final boarding was announced. Upon reaching our final destination of Spokane, we proceeded to baggage claim. While my partner's luggage, with its pink tag, arrived, mine did not. We immediately contacted Delta customer service to report the missing item. The process of obtaining a claim form and necessary documentation took approximately 30 minutes. The last time I saw my luggage was in omaha airport,

Claim escalated to airline

I have received both my checked bag and my checked at the airport carry on bag. I arrived from Phoenix (with a change of planes in Atlanta GA) to CDG airport in France on October 14th. I received the checked bag at my son's in Strasbourg France on October 17th. I received my checked carry on bag in Cottonwood AZ USA on October 26th. At CDG airport I filed a claim and was given the PIR number of CDGAF70659. I was given a small bag with a T-shirt, a toothbrush with bristles that came out and stuck in my teeth, a razor, and several small foil packets with toothpaste, deodorant, etc. I was given no money in compensation but told that I could file a claim for added expenses. I tried to file a claim with air france but it kept rejecting my name and the CDGAF70659 number. Upon arriving at CDG airport I did file the initial claim in person. My luggage was supposed to be delivered at my son's address: 6 Quai Kellermen Apt 301 67000 Strasbourg France. I offered to give them my son's name and phone number but they (the air france person in the lost luggage office) said all they needed was my name and phone number. I called the number on the claims receipt they gave my on the morning of the 15th and was told it was on it's way and even though I asked for the delivery companies name and number this information was not given to me. I called again then had my daughter in law call. She speaks French fluently. She got a name and number. When she called she told me the person that answer, answered with a "hello" no company name, very unprofessional. The larger bag was delivered on the morning of the 18th. We almost didn't get the bag because the delivery company my daughter in law spoke with, Chrono Post, did not give her the code that was necessary for the delivery driver to release the bag. The driver called it in and was given permission to release the bag to my son and daughter in law but knew nothing of the second bag (which had gifts for my family) besides my personal belongings. More phone calls to Chrono Post and we were told the second bag could not be delivered until either Sunday or Monday, they could not garentee which day. We were leaving for Paris in Monday morning so it was agreed that the bag would be returned to CDG airport and I could pick it up early Thursday morning, October 23rd before my direct flight back to Phoenix, gates closing at 10:25. My son (Who also speaks French , but not nearly as fluently as his wife) agreed he would go with me to the airport to retrieve my bag and get the gifts and be back at the appropriate Paris train station to take a 9:50 train with his family to the Netherlands. So we were at Charles De Gaul airport at 7:30. No one told us the lost luggage dept didn't open until 8 am. No one knew where my bag was. The manager got involved but could not find it. Finally about 8:45 it was agreed the bag would be sent back to the US and delivered to my home. It arrived mid afternoon on October 26th, intact, nothing missing or damaged. My son did make his train on time. He left me at the wheelchair assistance desk but I was in the wrong terminal. They did get me to wheelchair assistance in the correct terminal and I did get to the gate by 9:30 but it was very stressful. This was not specifically relevant to the claim but explains just how stressful this whole mess was. My son, daughter in law and I believe both bags were in Strasbourg the whole time but due to incompetence I went without a change of cloths, sleepwear and necessities much longer than was necessary. On my receipts for the PJ's and clothing and necessities I bought to tied me over I wrote how difficult that was. I now have to find a family member who is going to France hopefully sooner than later to take the gifts for my family to them. I cannot mail them. France has a policy of charging prohibitive fees for gifts sent to France from the US. These fees are usually double what the items cost. All in all this was an incompetent mess. I should at least be reimbursed for the items I needed to get by the 4 days I didn't have either of my two bags.

Inconsistency in policy, regards to extension

We had booked a flight to Japan and had to cancel. We were issued travel vouchers, we were unable to rebook and the vouchers expired on 9/4 ecredit 0060217101659. I texted an agent once I realized they expired on 9/19. The agent said we could get them extended or refunded to file a complaint through delta.com. Both my husband and I submitted the request on 9/19. His credit was replied to and extended immediately to May, mine was denied by Michele W. Case number 16101152. I wrote back to Michele W. and explained my husbands was approved. On 9/28 she stated she was standing firm on her decision. I opened another request case number 16243964 on 9/28. I never received a response. On Nov. 1 to follow up on my request for a second look at my case. On Nov 2, I received another denial in which Ms. Moore stated "Thank you for reaching out and sharing the details of your recent experience. We understand how disappointing it must be to receive differing outcomes on certificate extensions, especially when both tickets were purchased together and under similar circumstances. After revisiting your request and the associated certificate under case 16101152, we regret to inform you that we are unable to extend the credit associated with certificate 0060217101659. Per Delta’s policy, travel credits must be used within their validity period, and once expired, they are no longer eligible for extension or reissue. We appreciate your understanding." I replied When I initially inquired about an extension, I was informed it was possible and provided with instructions, which I diligently followed. To then be told my request is denied, while a similar request from a family member who purchased tickets under the same circumstances was approved, is not only frustrating but also appears to be an inconsistent application of your policy. The statement that Delta is "holding firm on our policy" seems to apply selectively, creating a perception of bias rather than a consistent policy application. My family and other business owners and friends are equally surprised by this disparate treatment. I sincerely hope Delta will reconsider my request in light of these circumstances. In which Ms. Moore replied Thank you for writing back and allowing me the opportunity to further review your concerns. I understand that you are dissatisfied with the resolution that I provided. I assure you our goal is to do everything possible to minimize the impact on our passengers whenever these circumstances occur. We follow a consistent policy to ensure that we are fair to everyone who travels with us. Accordingly, we must respectfully decline your request for an exception to be made, based on the contract of carriage and tariffs explained to you. We appreciate your understanding in this regard. I am still shocked on the replies I am getting, saying their policy is consistent. Clearly the policy is not consistent, when one family member is approved and one is denied. What the policy is showing bias to one family member over the other. When the tickets were purchased together using the same Delta American Express Card. I am asking for my voucher to be extended to May the same as my husbands.

Flying Delta with no communication and unnecessary issues

Flew from Bangor to LaGuardia no problem Should have boarded from there to Rochester around 1020 am. Plane delayed bc arriving plane was late. It happens. We then boarded around 12is. We taxi out and pilot says we are 40th in line. Wait what? We sit and sit and get down to around seventh and we have to turn back for fuel. We go back to the gate pilot says who ever wants to get off you can but keep close and have your boarding pass ready. Then a few moments later flight crew ladies tell us we are all getting off. Again stay close to the terminal as we will be recording soon (approximately 15 they said) so we stand close. The 15 minutes turns into an hour. We board the plane again and get to taxi out and second in line pilot says we will be departing soon we are second in line. Then we get the call to return to the gate and we are all wild. No explanation nothing just return to the gate. We return to the gate we all get off again. Again they tell us to stay close. Keep in mind we haven’t eaten since landing in LaGuardia at 7 am. At this time we are super hungry. We had to come back a second time to the gate because the flight crew timed out. We board the plane around 700 pm and we takeoff around 7:20. The flight was about a 40 minute flight. As we go out to taxi out and sit on the tarmac for it seem to be about 1520 minutes we were told we had to wait for air traffic control to give us a new route because of the weather and the turbulence was bad. So we all thought we were taking a different route to get to Rochester. Then all of a sudden we start taking off and wheels are up. No communication as to what our new route. We were taking a new route. What was going on where we were flying to. We got about 15 minutes into the flight in the turbulence was ridiculous. I think I may have thought I was dying in that three minutes of turbulence. We dropped so quick that the impact hurt my husbandβ€˜s back. And then we did a slight switch to the right where the plane was sideways for a hot minute. No communication after the bad timelines what we look like for whether going forward. No letting us know that the weather was better there be no more turbulence like that no communication. I sat with a death grip on the chair in front of me along with my husband and my mother-in-law. I cannot on my clock since it was 40 minutes on how long it was gonna be for me to get off that plane. The second time of the plane was not due to weather. It was due to timing out and no communication. We should’ve never boarded that plane for the second or third time. We should’ve been grounded and if we would’ve had to stay over, they should’ve put us over. We should’ve never Boarded the same plane three times to be that long time without being able to grab anything to eat because I told us to stay close to the terminal. They did, they did come around on the first plane with a small thing of water and a package of cookies. When someone asked for more and they said they didn’t have any. From seven in the morning until 815 when we landed in Rochester, we had nothing to eat. We had no time they told us to stay close to the terminal so we did.

Other flight issues from flying

Flight from LaGuardia to Rochester NIGHTMARE Late to begin with by an hour then we boarded the plane. Go to taxi out and we are 40th in line (the pilot said) The the flight crew Melissa says β€œ they are only using one runway for incoming and out going planes. We get down to about 7th and we had to return to the gate for fuel. Then were told some could get if they wanted to just have your boarding pass available. Then the next thing was we all had to get off the plane. (No communication from pilot) the flight crew told us we all had to get off. So we all got off, then told to wait close bc we could be recording in 15 minutes. So we waited and waited staying close to our terminal just in case. We then get the call to board so we all boarded and taxi out, pilot says we are second to take off. Then pilot says flight crew prepare for take off. Then we get halted and have to return to the gate again. We return to the gate no explanation. So we all unloaded again. Come to find out the flight crew timed out and couldn’t fly. So again they said stay close bc we will update you in 15 minutes that turned out being almost an hour. Keeping in mind we haven’t had a meal since 7 am when we arrived in LaGuardia from BGR. Finally the new arrives and load the plane around and depart at 720. Before we depart the captain says ATC is sending us a new route bc of the weather. Then we take off with no info as to how long the new route would be etc. it was unknown what was going on. Then we hit severe turbulence that my husband hit so hard he hurt his back. Again we were told we were taking a new route. I’m frustrated that we boarded the same plane three times. We got a small bottle of water and a pkg of cookies. When someone asked for more they said they didn’t have any more to give out. I’m furious in the situation. I get the weather but some of the happenings was not weather related. Flight crew timing out as we got to second in line!?? Really? We canceled our flight home and rented a car. I would like compensation for our leg of this trip from LaGuardia to Rochester for all three of us.

I received my bags 3 days later, and I'm not at home out of my comfort zone. Two of my bags were left in JHB, and I was not granted a cash allowance. Very poor planning on Delta part. Did not take into consideration customer comfort or convivence

ARE YOU KIDDING ME, DELTA?! I demand an explanation! Knowing your pilots were DANGEROUSLY CLOSE to exceeding their legal hours AND seeing a line of THIRTY PLANES ahead of us, why in the world did you allow us to board?! This entire experience was a catastrophic failure of management: β€’ One hour trapped at the gate. β€’ Another hour sitting on the taxiway going nowhere. β€’ Then, the predictable, inevitable cancellation because the pilots' hours EXCEEDED THE LEGAL LIMIT! What a pathetic display of foresight! β€’ We were then forced back to the terminal to sit for SEVERAL MORE HOURS waiting for a new crew. But wait, it gets better! After we were FINALLY re-boarded, you suddenly decided the plane needed REFUELING?! This is the absolute peak of incompetence! That could and should have been done while we were all sitting around waiting for a new crew! This entire ordeal was an incredibly uncomfortable, disrespectful, and completely avoidable waste of time. It screams one thing: Delta cares more about getting a plane to push back from the terminal on timeβ€”to fake an on-time departureβ€”than you do about customer comfort, legal limits, or basic common sense! I want to know who made the decision to board this flight, and what concrete steps will be taken to compensate me for this unacceptable mismanagement and disrespect for my time. Would you like me to find the correct contact information for filing an official complaint with Delta's Customer Care department?

Technical problems

Along with the cancellation, I was also booked onto a different flight to Frankfurt and then to DC by AirFrance. I had both reservations for return flights, and the AirFrance agents said I will be able to take the Frankfurt flight that got back 6 hours earlier. When I went to the airport in Dubrovnik, I was denied boarding onto the Frankfurt flight, since there was an error in the system with both rebookings. I was printed a boarding pass for the Munich flight instead, and I had to wait 5 hours in the airport. When I got to Munich, they then told me the boarding pass that was printed from Munich to DC in Dubrovnik was invalid, and I had to get issued a new boarding pass.

Terrible customer service and mishandling of personal propery.

Flight #DL1094 leaving at 1125. The boarding agents announced, as we were scanning our boarding passes for zone 8, that there wasn't any room left in the overhead compartments and all other baggage would have to be checked. We explained that we were on a tight schedule and wouldn't have time to wait at baggage claim to retrieve our bags to which he replied, " well you've got time now". I watched as our bags were literally thrown down a tube. When we were boarding we noticed AMPLE room in the overhead compartments and that several people were allowed to bring 3 carry on items. While sitting we noticed that people boarded after us were bringing their bags on. If the overhead compartments will fit 3/4 bags per box please explain to me why any passenger would have to check a bag. Because of the delay waiting at baggage claim we were late for our appointment which caused a whole chain reaction of inconvenience. When we arrived home and checked our bags, several small breakables were broken. Your gate agent was, by far, one of the rudest customer service people I have ever encountered. He truly makes your company look bad. We have been loyal Delta customers for YEARS. Because of this shoddy treatment we will be trying other airlines in the future. If we hadn't already booked and paid for a Delta flight to Hawaii in February, I would cancel and book with someone else. Plane-side checked baggage..

We were required to check our carry-on at entering the plane, I had no idea it was going to baggage claim after landing as normal procedure is to place bags on the ramp way to grab after deplaning. My bag was destroyed, and although it was replaced at the baggage service area, it was an inferior bag but i had no choice really. It was a terrible inconvenience and my special carry-on bag was lost. There is a reason people bring a carry-on bag with them; typically highly sensitive items. This process is a great trust issue with Delta and their concern with a customers property and it needs reevaluation. Plane side checked bags should never go to baggage claim... never.

Yes we were stuck in Lax and had no luggage clothes and accessories we needed transportation to clothing store and meals. When you have a Delayed luggage always do a follow up never listen to the counter agent, they May assure you that it is on its way to its destination as they see it on their system. When Faced with trip desruption folllw your original airline instruction as to where to go next never give anymore payments for new flight your airline should accomdate you all the way through till your final destination point. My baggage was mishandled due to a scammer that tricked me by phone impersinating as a Delta agent made me cancell my flight and rebooked me with United Air and promised refund of $1,245.99 from Delta with a $300 voucher credit and charged me $1867.99 new ticket with United Airlines. Under pressure worried and scared I accepted. At the time I didnt know a scam was happening. So watch for an approach by a scammer they know when your flight has been disrupted to take advantage. I did not know unil my credit Card got maxed out scammers dont care they even asked me to use another Card. So Now Im trying to Find help and recover losses. I received my luggage 4 days later I had to go from airport to airport Delta to American Airlines to United Airlines to Find my luggage on top of all this baggage claim workers when faced with this type of issue didnot give me the right answers.I was told by United Air Baggage to go to Delta and Delta tells me return back to United Air physically drains you out. With that back and forth trauma found out my bags never moved from Lax Delta AirPort and was even told by United they are not responsible to deliver my bags to my resident address. Anyway it finally got delivered yesterday evening 4 days later. The person who delivered my luggage was very nice and happy to deliver my luggage. She needs a bonus. And no the airline did not provide any Cash allowance for incidentals. Thats my story.

The aisle seat in front of us in 1st class was blocked by a vertical bar a metal bar in the middle of that seat making it Impossible to stow the cat carrier. The window seat had no bar and it was impossible to stow cat under the seat in front of you because the seat was way to low to put a carrier under the seat. My husband had to place the carrier in between his legs preventing him to comfortably sit. The carrier took up his leg room preventing him to sit comfortably spreading his legs encroaching on my legroom. It was was terrible. Some one had to know this place cannot accommodate a pet carrier in 1st class. Ridiculous. We did not know there was no food service on this 1st class flight. Was told you don’t serve food after 9pm as we’re expecting 1st class service on an 4 plus hour flight. Asked if there might be a blanket or pillow. Never heard from stewardess. Went to customer service to explain the above. The attendant just starred at me and told me to complain on line. He was so rude!! This was a wasted 1st class purchase and very upsetting that I fell for service and comfort. 9have photos.

Damaged laptop computer in-flight

During a recent flight, a flight attendant accidentally spilled approximately half a cup of liquid directly onto my laptop while serving a drink to the passenger seated beside me. The spill caused immediate damage, and since then, my laptop has not functioned properly. As an attorney who frequently works remotely, this incident has significantly disrupted my ability to perform essential professional duties and compromised my productivity. I was sent a $25 voucher for a future flight and that is unacceptable. Additionally, there was as general consensus that the crew was rude, or at best, unpleasant.

Strike

We were scheduled to depart at approx. 6am. We received notice the night before that the flight was canceled due to strikes with KLM and in AMS. We were rebooked on a flight departing from STR at approx. 2pm and arrived into Cleveland approx. 8 hours later than planned at 11:03pm. I planned to meet a friend to drop off a bag in Germany, however, because of the delay (and having turned in my rental car) I was unable to provide them the bag and was forced to pay to check it, to get it home. We were unable to pick our dogs up from boarding as planned on 24 SEP resulting in charges for an extra night, we also were not able to get to work on time the next day as we didn't arrive home until approx. 1130pm. The airline rebooked us but provided very short notice that resulted in me having already turned in the car and forced to check out of our lodging, we we forced to arrive early and wait an uncomfortable amount of time to depart, 6 hours later than we anticipated the day prior.

Very poor boarding service at gate 35 DL390 October 7, 3025- Ms Pricilla Martinez

Dear Delta Customer Care Team, I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding the treatment I received from a gate agent, Ms. Pricilla Martinez, on October 7, 2025, at Gate 35 (LAX) while boarding Flight DL390 to Atlanta. When my zone was called, I proceeded toward the boarding lane just as all other passengers had done. However, Ms. Martinez refused to scan my boarding pass, insisting that I go all the way to the back of the lineβ€”on the opposite side of the horizontal fabric divider. This interaction was loud, unnecessary, and deeply embarrassing, especially given that the aisle was open, no one had complained, and other passengers were being allowed through without issue. Ms. Martinez’s tone and body language were unprofessional. She pointed her finger in my face and spoke sharply, in full view of other passengers. I was left standing there, mortified and in disbelief, before making what felt like a humiliating β€œwalk of shame” back over 100 feet to the end of the line. I was carrying a heavy backpack, had no other baggage, and had followed standard boarding procedure as called. I have been a frequent Delta traveler since 1989, with hundreds of thousands of miles flown, and I have always appreciated Delta’s professionalism and courtesy. This encounter was completely out of character for the Delta experience and left me shaken. It felt less like an enforcement of policy and more like an unnecessary display of authority that singled me out unfairly. I respectfully request that Delta review this incident and issue a formal apology for the unprofessional conduct I experienced. I would also appreciate knowing how Delta intends to ensure that other passengers are not treated in this manner. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response. Amsterdam-Brussels

Economy

We flew from Atlanta to Amsterdam with a connecting flight to Brussels. When we arrived in Amsterdam we found out our flight to Brussels was canceled. We were originally rebooked on a later flight at 9:30pm. We spoke to someone at the KLM desk that rebooked us on a train instead to get us to Brussels earlier. We were originally told that someone would bring our bags to a bag carousel in about an hour. We waited at the carousel and never saw our 2 checked bags. We went to the desk where a KLM baggage agent called and was told because of the strike they were short on manpower and could not bring our 2 bags upstairs to us or send them up. We were told they would be brought to our hotel in a few days. We only had medication and minimal toitletries with us in our carry on bags. There was absolutely no reason that we should have waited 3 days to get our baggage when it was at the airport and we had to wait 6 hours to take our train to Brussels. We finally received our luggage 3 days later. The airline only provided vouchers for food for us for lunch.

Information needed for insurance reimbursement

To Customer Service Department, I need a text/letter/email from Delta as to WHY you sent me a reimbursement check for a missed flight due to a delay. Traveler insurance will not reimburse me until they know the EXACT REASON why you sent me a check for $136.70 on August 14, 2025. The check number is 100664347, Delta document number is 3331234105, invoice number is 0060001335980-1A. My flight, confirmation number, HOITRZ, from Rome, DL215, was delayed, due to equipment delays, on 6/29/2025 for approximately 5 hours and I missed the connecting flight in Atlanta to MSP that afternoon. The check was partial payment for the missed flight as I had to rebook with another airline. Please reply with official letterhead when explaining reason check was sent. Thank you. Abandoned ay CDG, Paris with no Delta Reps

I will begin with a compliment to the Cabin Crew of our flight from CDG to ATL. They were exceptional. My first complaint was the food on our flight fro Atlanta to Amsterdam; it was disgusting and inedible. My major complaint was wiyje return trip flying from Prague tp Atlanta, via Paris (CDG). Our Air France flight from Prague tp Paris was delayed over an hour on take ff and due to an aborted landing which required another circle of the airport, we missed our connection for our Delta leg of the trip from Paris to Atlanta. There we no Delta employees at CDG to help us rebook, ewe contacted Delta customer service by text and the were able to book us the following day. Needless tp say we were stranded at CDG and could not even get to a concourse, because we didn't have a gate assignment. We were stuck in a terminal with no access to food or drink. Having arrived by Air France, we went to them for assistance, but because we had purchased the ticket through Delta, they said we had to go to Delta for assistance. Again it was 4:30 pm and there were no Delta agents in the airport, all Delta Counters were dark and empty. The customer service rep. said to find a Delta agent and when we explained there were none in the airport. He did give us a phone number to call, 1-800-221-1212 (this number does not work in France). We were stuck in a foreign country, abandoned by the airline we had purchased the ticket through. We did go back a nd drew ourselves on the mercy of Air France, who were kind enough to provided us with vouchers for a hotel room and food. Where was DELTA?. As the second largest carrier in the world operating out of the 11th busiest airport in the world (CDG0, I would have expected more, I would question how you can call yourself an international carrier, when you leave internationalal travelers stranded at a foreign airport. Im a native Atlantan and have been flying Delta for 60 years for both personal and business travel, but I am now questioning my loyalty. I can remember boarding a Delta prop plane from the tarmac in Texas as a small child. Delta used to be supreme in customer service, but this trip was a nightmare Ken Stephens 404-219-6052 kenstephens06@comcast.net

DELTA abandoned us in CDG airport

We were supposed to be on DL081 to return home to SEATAC from Naples, Italy. Delta had β€˜partnered’ with Air France, so we were ticketed on AF 1179 / NAP to CDG / 12:35 / 25 SEP with a connection at Charles de Gaulle airport aboard DL081 to fly home. While waiting in Naples airport, the take-off for AF 1179 was delayed over 1 Β½ hours (we were never told why, despite asking). We realized, however, that the likelihood of us connecting to DL081 was diminished and I immediately began trying to call Delta Airlines to see if DL081 would be delayed in order for us (and approximately 20 fellow Delta passengers) to make our flight to SEATAC. I finally got through to (800) 323-2323 where the Delta rep assured me that, indeed, DL081 would be delayed at CDG 1 hour 45 min and quoted a new take-off time of 17:40. Our anxiety diminished…we could relax. But the Delta rep had lied to me. Immediately after landing at CDG (while taxiing to the terminal) my wife checked the on-line Delta status page for DL081: we were shocked to find DL 081had taken off 4 minutes before we landed. We were all now stranded in France. We raced to CDG’s Delta Airline counter and found NO DELTA REPS AT THE DELTA COUNTER: CDG agents advised us that all the Delta personnel had all gone home for the night. It was 17:00 and no one in all of Delta Airlines was around to even pretend Delta cared about their paying customers stranded there. We went to the Air France counter to explain our plight, and the first two AF reps were not much of a help other than to say, β€œtry googling Delta”. But the third rep was a huge help. She booked us aboard AF 338 CDG to SEA the next day and put us up in a hotel for the night. Even our checked bags made it home with only a slight delay. That Air France representative went far above our expectations: Air France picked up every ounce of the sudden weight Delta had dropped on us. We had paid Delta for a flight and Delta left us cold and wet in CDG. As of this writing we have not heard one word from Delta…no explanation, no Delta feedback opportunity, nothing. We are not inclined to fly Delta Airlines again. We understand that things like weather, ATC strikes in Europe and scheduling conflicts all present challenges, however, THIS IS YOUR JOB and you failed miserably. We supposedly β€œvalued customers” would now like a full explanation of why we paid so much money only to be abandoned and forgotten in a foreign country. Obviously, we have begun to advise other retirees, friends, and family about this treatment from Delta. We would love to tell them that Delta stepped up or even followed up…but that has not yet been the case. Why? Please contact me ASAP with your response. I would like very much to speak with a senior representative to let them know how Delta mistreated us and get some questions answered by way of an explanation for this incredible disservice. And please do not tell us your sorry this happened…show us. You can’t possibly be proud of this failure of service. John L. incompetence procedures in emergency

Delta Flight 2260 from Las Vegas to Austin on September 26 was scheduled to depart at 5:15pm and arrive Austin on 9:59 pm. The departure was delayed because of a thunderstorm. It departed several hours late and arrived Austin at about 2 am. This is understandable and not my complaint. During the delay, we had FIVE gate assignments. This emergency was handled incompetently. middle seat reassignment . we were" told our seat was broken and were moved to middle seats. we checked and another older person was in the seat. it was not broken

we booked our tickets and got our assigned seats next to each other. At check in, we were told our seat was broken and could not give us seats at check in, but had to go to the gate for seats. The flight was full and there was a long line for seat assignments. The counter didn't open until 15 minutes before boarding. We stood in line for 1 hour hoping to get seats together. We were given MIDDLE seats for a 9 hr 15 minute flight. That was the "only" option given to us as it was a full flight. During the flight I used the ladies room only to find our seat was TAKEN by an older gentleman. Why were we not told the truth? Denied access to Sky Club after paying for premium seating

I am a wheelchair using traveler and I have many needs as I travel throughout my life. This Summer, my fiance and I were planning to attend a curated ten day wheelchair tour of Barcelona. In an attempt to create a simpler, easier and stress free travel experience for my companion and I I explored enhanced flight options. As I was scheduling and purchasing my flights to Europe, Delta.com agents repeatedly assured me that When I purchase first class seating or any premium seating, I would have access to the Delta Sky Club at each connecting airport. The reservation I made and paid for was HB3FSX leaving 9 September and returning 18 September On Monday 8 September when we arrived at DCA prior three hours before departure, after dropping our bagage the gate attendant helpfully directed us to the Delta Sky Club entrance in terminal 2 after security. Once we went through security, and were guided to the elevator up to the Sky Club. Oncewe we exited the elevator, we were requested to show our boarding passes only to be denied access to The Delta Sky club. I pointed out that I had a first class ticket to JFK, and Premium economy to BCN, both of which Delta had assured me were eligible entrance requirements to the Delta Sky Club. Regardless, we were still denied admission to the Delta Sky Club. Once we landed at JFK, we collected my travel bags and accompanying medical equipment and devices and trudged our way to councourse B near Gate B31 and waited in queue to gain access to The Delta Sky Club to wait the three and a half hours for our flight to BCN. Once again, after examning our boarding passes for which I had paid Premium select seating the Sky Club access agent again refused access to The Dewlta Sky Club. I was becoming eternally frustrated and intreasingly vocal about how I had confirmed again and again with the agents at Delta.com that my purchase of Premium Select granted us access to the Delta Sky Club until a kind and forgiving Delta Sky club member in queue offered to invite is in as guests on his Sky Club access, allowing us access to the clam, quiet and stimulation free Delta Sky Club at JFK. I had be assured that my Premium select ticket also gave me priority access at boarding, so I understood that despite capacity or boarding sequence, our seats would always be available. We casually made our way to the departure gate and after I handed our boarding passes to the agent, she gave a surprise expression and said, β€œYou should have boarded 30 minutes ago!” When making our reservations, I always indicated that I need accessible services and help getting on and off our flights. After I explained that I did not need an aisle chair and could walk to my seat, all assistance seemed to be yanked our from under me. Once I took my wheelchair to the cabin door, After the door agent looked at my boarding pass, she also told me I should have checked in 30 minutes earlier. I was able to explain to the ramp agent how to stow my power wheelchair. Once I stood and we removed my medical devices and carry ons, there was no attendant to assist me in stowing my equipment in an overhead bin or elsewhere. Our only choice was to leave the six bags on the floor by the gate, and step over them expecting a Delta agent or attendant to stow or otherwise gate check those bags because they had to travel with me. Once I walked back to Premium Select seat 20D and 20F, we saw that one of the three Premium seats in our row was already occupied and the person in 20F immediately got up, vacated his seat allowing for my fiance to sit in her original seat, allowing my fiance and I to sit together in Premium Select seat that I paid for. On a previous flight earlier, I learned that my power chair had not been loaded on to the hold of my aircraft. Once we landed in BCN, I was asked to exit the plain and I was told I would have to wait until my power chair was unloaded and brought up to the gate. My experience previously taught me to not trust airline personnel regardless of what they claim. I insisted that the staff confirm that my chair has indeed been placed onboard the plane before I vacated my seat. After a gate attendant shared a photograph of my chair confirming that it was indeed onboard, I relented and vacated my seat and headed toward the cabin door. After almost ten minutes, I was happy to see my power chair being pushed toward me. Once my chair was returned to me, at the cabin door, there was nobody who was responding to my requests for assistance in picking up and hanging my medical equipment on my power wheelchair. After paying extra for a premium select experience, I found the service and attention from Delta to be sub-par, much less that the bare minimum service I would expect as a paralyzed wheelchair traveler. At the BCN airport, we were greeted by the tour organizer, who immediately guided us to retrieve our luggge and had us loaded into the waiting wheelchair taxi to take us to our hotel in Barcelona. It was not until after we arrived at the hotel that I was able to inspect and examine my power chair. At this point, I discovered four things that were damaged on my power chair during transport: 1. a metal baffle that was placed between my drive wheel and the hanging saddlebag designed to prevent the bag from dragging against the drive wheel had been crushed and displaced to the point, where this metal baffle simply fell off as I was maneuvering my power chair to my hotel room. Reparing this baffle is impossible because the metal sign is bent and twisted beyond repair. Reinstalling such a baffle, will require hiring a handyperson to purchase, cut, clip, bend and install a new sign, a task the I will have to pay at least $175 for, a 2. A Pride Quantum XLR USB Charger Mobility Power Wheelchair Scooter Charge Port that I left attached to the charge port of my chair had been damaged, as though it were ripped right out of the socket. The port still had the length of handle attached, but the charging mechanism was ruined. A replacement XLR USB charger costs $35.99 on ebay with a $9.99 delivery fee, plus tax 3. There is a thigh pad preventing my paralyzed left leg from swinging off the seat. This thigh pad has been damaged and is no longer fixed in place, in fact it no longer stays in one place and is readily knocked out of position as I roll my power chair through normal daily obstacles, repair will cost a minimum of one hour from a Numotion sdervice technician to fix and reinstall the thigh pad 4. There was a slide-in cup holder that was affixed to the end of my left armrest. The cup holder was missing from my chair when it was returned to me in Barcelona. A replacement cup holder from Quantum costs $47.00 online The day after I arrived in Barcelona, I contacted Delta about the issues I discovered on my power chair. I was informed that I needed to make a report to Delta once I was in an airport. ON 18 September. when my flight arrived in ATL, I immediately contacted a Delta agent who took my information and my complaints. This was a redshirt Delta agent by the name of, β€œLeese.” Lesse, took my four copmplaints and entered information in her terminal explaining that she had started my complaint and I need to complete it before I leave my final airport in DCA. Once I arrived at DCA, my final destination, I visited the Delta baggage agent and I attempted to complete my complaint, speakinug to two agents who took pictures and confirmed my issues. Eventually, calling in a supervisor who concluded that because I did not file my complaint with Delta while in BCN, They were not able to assist me. One home, I was looking forward to my trip home because I paid for the premium Delta One service from BCN all the way to DC On my trip from BCN to ATL, there were plenty of Delta attendants and personnel who were very attentive, supportive and helpful in getting us to our Delta One seats on flight 195. They were very welcoming and insisted that my medical equipment and carry on baggage would be no problem. Again I had very helpful assistance unloading my chair and having the crew stow my items. I did not see how most of it was stowed because I was focussed on walking the distance from the cabin door to our Delta One seats. Because of the confined nature of the Delta one seating pod set ups, I was unable to pull the seatbelt around me left waist. A helpful flight attendant retrieved a seat belt extension to allow me to be buckled in. A flight attendant offered champaigne which I accepted. When I asked if they could provide me with a cup of coffee, I was informed that they could not serve coffee until after we were airborne. Because of my paralysis and attendant lymphodema. I need to stand up and move around at least a little bit at once per hour. Our departure was delayed over 90 minutes, which is longer than the one hour period after which I must move to maintain my circulation. Once we taxied and finally departed climbing to a cruising altitude. The seatbelt sign remained illuminated for the first two hours. Even though I observed many other passengers and attendants walking up and down the aisles. Finally, after almost an hour an 45 minutes, I was offered a meal, when I was served my mushroom ravioli. I ordered soda water and vodka with my meal. My vodka and soda never arrived. I had no water, or anything to drink with my creamy mushroom ravioli pasta. As the flight attendant picked up my meal and inquired how it was, I pointed out that I never received mt vodka and soda with my meal. The FA almost ashamedly apologized about neglecting my order and almost immediately brought a class of soda water and a mini vodka spirit bottle, leaving it on my tray. I asked if instead, they offered espresso on this flight. The FA left and returned a few minutes later apologizing that they neglected to pack the espresso pods on this flight. He offered as an alternative a dark roast Starbucks instant decaf coffee, which I accepted. Presuming that it was the only opt9ion I had in coffee. However later I saw flight attendants serving apparently freshly brewed coffee to other passengers. All I asked for was coffee, or espresso, and instead I was offered a freeze dried instant powder that was poured into a tepid cup of warm water. By the time of this meal debacle with no drink, the seatbelt sign had been turned off. I unbuuckled, stood up and started walking forward as the FA directed me. I walked down the aisle pas what seemed like 30 different rows of passengers until I enentually found a restrooom near the front of the aircraft. This was a lavatory into which I barely squeezed in. Locking the door activated the lights. Even though I am paralyzed and use a wheelchair, there was barely room for me to turn around. After lifting the toilet seat cover and the seat, I discovered that there was no grab bar or any device to hold or lean against to help me relieve myself. With such a cramped space and my left side paralysis, I had to drop my pants and shorts, spread my legs and lean forward as much as possible and hope I did not urinate over myself while relieving myself. Getting back, after balancing and stabilizing along the aisle was a tiring journey After getting back to my seat, I decided to make use of the lie flat bed option. It turned out that my carry on bag, stowed under the seat in front of me, prevented my bed from lying completely flat, and when I tried to return my bed to the original upright position, the bed captured the shoe that was on my left foot adorning my orthotic and ripped the shoe off my foot and device. Even after calling an attendant, he was unable to position himself to allow me to replace my left shoe on my orthotic. After my shoe was eventually replaced, the F.A, was happy to stow my carry on bag in an overhead bin lie flat captured my left shoe, then after inquiring, they placed my carry on in an overhead bin. On arrival in ATL, I once again needed to wait 22 minutes for my wheelchair to be removed and brought to the gate. After the chair was finally brought to the gate, there was no attendant or other personnel to assist my fiance in loading my bags and medical equipment on to my power chair, which had to be donned individually by my fiance. The reason I spent the entire value of a new car to experience this enhanced, Delta One experience was so that my trip would be free of hassle. Once my bags were loaded, even though I had requested assistance in getting to my departure gate, there was nobody available to help or even to guide us to the proper terminal. Once we made it to through customs and to the proper terminal, B, we were required to walk the entire length of the terminal starting at gate B29 and walking all the way to gate b2, where pleasingly, as we arrived we heard the final boarding call for flight 832. After making it to the cabin door, I encountered a similar experience, where, as I was removing the devices from my chair to be stowed, I reminded the attendant that I needed assistance in hanging theses bags back on my power chair once they were returned to me Again, after we landed in DCA, there was a delay of over 25 minutes while we waited for my power chair to be brought up to the jetway. And again, once the power chair was brought on the jetway to the cabin door, there was nobody to assist me or my fiance in loading my equipment on to my power wheelchair. After we finally made it along the way toward terminal 2 and baggage claim, we located our carousel, which by this time had been cleared of everyone else's luggage, our luggage was situated on a luggage carousel that had been stopped. The luggage claim area was quiet, there were no employees visible. I could see our luggage at the crook of a trurn in the carousel but I could not reach to retrieve it. I looked around and was unable to itedtify a sky cap, or Delta Redshirt or any airline employee. I ended up yelling throughout the entire baggage claim area begging for any employee to help retrieve my luggage. Eventually, a gentleman wearing a yellow safety vest approached and asked if we needed assistance. He was able to retrieve all the luggage that was waiting and after carefully guiding all our luggage into my power chair and with my fiance, I still needed to complete the damage claim that I had started with Leese, the Delta Agent at ATL. After making it to the Delta luggage office in Baggage claim, I had to explain my four claims again, and I was told again that I needed to have made such a claim while I was in Barcelona. The agents at DCA were very helpful in documenting my four specific complaints and ended up telling me that there was nothing they could do and That I needed to contact Delta.com to follow up with any complaints. I was told this by Delta supervisor Janelle on Thursday 18 September at 8:58 pm The reason I spent the entire value of a new car to experience this enhanced, Delta One experience was so that my trip would be free of hassle. Once my bags were loaded onto my power chair, , even though I had requested assistance in getting to my departure gate, there was nobody available to help or even to guide us to the proper terminal. Once we made it to through customs and to the proper terminal, B, we were required to walk the entire length of the terminal starting at gate B29 and walking all the way to gate b2, where pleasingly, as we arrived we heard the final boarding call for flight 832. After making it to the cabin door, I encountered a similar experience, where, as I was removing the devices from my chair to be stowed, I reminded the attendant that I needed assistance in hanging theses bags back on my power chair once they were returned to me I have documented all the problems, obstacles, and failings I encountered, primarily to see how Delta can appropriately compensate me for the egregious lack of service and assistance that I originally paid so dearly to experience. In particular, after purchasing First class accommodations from DCA A to JFK, why were my fiance and I denied access to the Delta Sky Club on 8 September, and after purchasing Premium select seating from JFK to BCN, why were we again denied access to the Delta Sky club that same day?

Low quality Customer Service

My flight 1026 was to depart at 6:12pm out of MSP to ATL was delayed too much that I missed my connecting flight 2254 at 10:40pm to GSP. This delay was due to safety incident that could have been prevented had the plane passengers safety was audited. This incident resulted in calling for medical attention for passengers. This safety incident is delta responsibility towards customers. When I brought up how tjis imcident impacted my flight. DL customer service in ATL airport denied responsibility and did not provide any accommodation. I had to spend the night in a hotel in ATL hotel on my expenses and without my handbag with all my personal things. This was another poor customer service from delta boarding agent who forced ticketing all rollers even though my roller was just a personal handbag. This is series of low quality customer service was unacceptable of delta airlines I have been loyal to for decades. Please take responsibility of this issue and make up for this incident. Dr M. Lack or care to see confirmations and resolve mix up.

I was booked on Flight 2379 in Chattanooga this flight was delayed and this caused me to have an automatic rebooking of my connecting flight # 3021. Once the plane arrived in Chattanooga I saw that I would actually be able to make my flight due to quick loading as well as flight 3021 being pushed back to leave at 8:51. I was assisted by an agent in Chattanooga and she rebooked me on my original flight she explained I need to check in either online or at gate in Atlanta. I immediately checked in on the Delta app and was assigned a new seat of 25A. I arrived in Atlanta at 8:20 and got to gate F02 at 8:30. I approached the agent at the desk she took my Interrupted travel ticket reprinted a new one for flight 3130 handed it to me and told me this flight was full and I could not get on it. I explained I was rebooked in Chattanooga and had checked in and had seat 25A. She told me there were no seats , she didn't look or help and asked me to step a side and stated if there was anyone who didn't;t show up she would check at the end. I stood to the side of the agent desk for 20 min watching the entire plane load the agent then called people who were on stand by gave them tickets and allowed them to load. they then announce the flight was full and closed the doors. I am asking for a full refund. One I booked this flight months ago and I arrived at the gate 20 min before the door shut. I was humilated having a seat assignment being asked to step aside and told I have no seat. I did not request any rebooking for a connecting flight as I could understand if my connecting flight was after my arrival but it arrived 40 min before flight 3130 departed. Two I was assigned two different seats on this flight my original seat and then seat 25A had confirmation email and app and the agent would not even look or take time to assist solving the issue. Three I was placed on a 11:00 pm flight alone as a women in which I would never flight late at night alone like this or burden anyone to come to pick me up this late.

Successful claim

No reason given

We were all set to fly out of Amsterdam on 09/18/ 2025 to Boston at 11:45 A.M. to arrive in Boston at 1:40 P.M. on 09/16/2025. We received NO NOTIFICATION of any delay and we had to spend 8 + hours waiting for our flight!! We were given two $15.00 vouchers for food which was just not enough. The airline did not provide any more than that. This ordeal was a very negative aspect of an otherwise amazing Viking cruise. We arrived in Boston at 9:05 or so which made it impossible for us to catch the 9:30 bus to Portland, Maine. We then had to wait for the 11:35 bus. We had to make other arrangements to be picked up in Maine at 2:30 A.M. which was very difficult. This incident did not only inconvenience us but also the people who were picking us up.

Technical problems

My wife had initial correspondence with Delta and received $100 in compensation. Subsequently, I initiated a chat on the Delta website to complain about the compensation that was given, whereby the Delta representative referred me to a different department in the company, since he could not provide any assistance. You will notice in the chat string, that the Delta representative indicated that he thought that I was entitled to additional compensation.

Technical problems

Flight was cancelled once we boarded. Overnight hotel was paid by airline and I submitted food receipt, transportation receipt and request for compensation for toiletries (bought out of a vending machine at hotel) to Delta. The compensation (attached $100 voucher) is not sufficient compensation for the inconvenience. Flight was cancelled due to plane issue on Friday afternoon and we were rebooked (in a lower cabin) for Saturday morning. We originally were booked in comfort + and flew home in main cabin. I already requested the price difference for this from Delta.

Poor Customer Service: Adrianna

Flight Attendant: Adrianna Monday, August 27, 2025 ATL to LAX Flight time: 12:31 pm - 2:03 pm SEAT: 29E On the flight to LA, I asked the flight attendant for a snack as she finished serving a passenger in the seat across the isle from me. I said to her: "Excuse me Ma'am; could I please have packet of crackers?" She rudely responded: "When I asked you if you wanted something, you didn't say anything." Although surprised at the tone of her response, I calmly replied: "I'm sorry, I didn't hear you ask." She then passed them to me over the passenger sitting in 29D. That passenger and I looked at each other in disbelief of her rudeness. Nevertheless, I thanked the attendant and did not bother to ask her for anything else for the duration of the flight. Instead, I waited for another attendant and asked for a bottle of water. I hope other passengers had a more pleasant interaction with this particular flight attendant (Adrianna). Delta Airlines Cost Me My Trip to Italy πŸ’”

Dear Team, I hope this message finds you well. I’m reaching out because I had one of the most unbelievable travel experiences, and I think it’s a story your audience will connect with β€” especially anyone who has ever dealt with the frustrations of airlines. I had a two-part flight to Italy. My first leg was with Delta Airlines from Atlanta to Miami, scheduled to leave at 3:15 PM. Things went downhill from the start: β€’ The flight attendant said she was sick, and after a 45-minute delay, the standby attendant said she was sick too. Then, to make matters worse, I found out the first flight attendant wasn’t even β€œlegal” to fly. β€’ Delta struggled for almost 2 hours to find someone to fill in. We didn’t take off until almost 5 PM. β€’ By the time we landed in Miami after 6 PM, more delays piled on: we waited for stairs to deplane, then another 30 minutes on the runway because of rain and staffing issues. β€’ I was supposed to catch my international flight at 7:45 PM, and other passengers kindly let me rush ahead. But when I got to baggage claim, the carousel jammed. That cost me another 10 minutes. β€’ I raced upstairs to ITA Airways, only to find their agents had already left for the night. I broke down in tears. When I went back to Delta, they told me they β€œused to partner with ITA” but no longer do. Even the Delta agent admitted this was Delta’s fault. But still, ITA cancelled my ticket because I wasn’t there on time. I was told there was nothing Delta could do. Instead, I was offered a hotel room and a $12 food voucher… after I lost my dream trip to Italy. πŸ’” This is unacceptable. I did everything right, and through no fault of my own, I missed my international flight. I want to share this story not just for myself, but for every traveler who has ever been let down by the airlines and left with nothing. This is not ok and so unfair. Thank you for your time, and I truly hope you’ll consider shedding light on this.
