JUDr. Robert Jehne is an aviation lawyer with more with 36 years of legal practice and more than 13 years of experience handling EU261 and UK261 compensation claims, cross-border airline disputes, and air passenger rights enforcement across the European Union. His practice focuses on complex litigation, regulatory enforcement, and international judgment execution inaviation-related cases.
JUDr. Robert Jehne collaborates with AirAdvisor as an external aviation lawyer, supporting the handling and enforcement of passenger compensation claims and related disputes, including litigation and cross-border enforcement where applicable. He also provides legal review and verification of AirAdvisor’s passenger rights content for Czech audience to help ensure legal accuracy and clear guidance for consumers.
JUDr. Jehne is the Managing Partner of the law firm Jehne, Vodák, based in the Czech Republic, where he has led aviation and consumer protection litigation for more than a decade. He has represented passengers in thousands of disputes against air carriers, including flight delays, cancellations, denied boarding, overbooking, and airline liability cases.
His legal work includes enforcement of judgments from other EU Member States within the Czech Republic, as well as representation of clients before national courts, enforcement bodies, and EU-level judicial institutions. JUDr. Jehne has also acted in proceedings before the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) and the Czech Constitutional Court, contributing to the development and clarification of passenger rights jurisprudence.
JUDr. Robert Jehne is a registered attorney with the Czech Bar Association (Bar No. 01898). He holds a Doctor of Law degree (JUDr.) in Law and Legal Science from Charles University in Prague (1990).
JUDr. Jehne has represented clients before national courts, EU Small Claims procedures, national enforcement bodies, European payment order proceedings, and the Court of Justice of the European Union.
