Since joining AirAdvisor in 2021, Alina has progressed from Claim Manager to Lead Claim Manager, overseeing complex passenger compensation cases under EU261. Her responsibilities include reviewing, validating, and approving cases for escalation to court, coordinating external law firms across Europe (including Spain, Italy, Portugal, and other jurisdictions), and ensuring procedural compliance with local court rules, limitation periods, and enforcement mechanisms.
She also manages quality control and performance monitoring within the post-claim submission process, supports legal and operational risk assessments, and maintains professional communication with airlines, external lawyers, and partners throughout dispute resolution and settlement negotiations.
Professional background
Prior to joining AirAdvisor, Ms. Kutsa gained experience in international relations, public-sector cooperation, and multilingual communication. While still at university, she worked with senior Ukrainian officials and representatives of foreign embassies through the diplomatic club “Ambassador”, supporting the organisation of official international events.
In 2019, she completed an internship at the Association of Gas Producers of Ukraine, where she worked as an interpreter and analyst. She also has experience as a Spanish language teacher, which strengthened her communication skills and cross-cultural competence — assets that now support her work with international legal teams and passengers.

Ms. Kutsa graduated from the Institute of International Relations, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, with a degree in International Relations and qualification as a Spanish interpreter.

Deeply affected by the war in Ukraine, Alina actively supports the Ukrainian Armed Forces and recognised foundations assisting refugees and civilians impacted by the conflict. She has also been involved in supporting animal shelters across Ukraine for many years.
