On November 5 I had a scheduled flight from Santa Fe New Mexico to Barcelona Span. Your flight at 7am was canceled and re-scheduled for 9am to a surprise it was delayed till 1:15Pm arrived late. At close to 2pm I finally boarded your united Jet to Denver where of course I missed my connecting flight to Montreal Canada. This is totally uncalled for/ United sent to Munich Germany and then Finally Spain ten hours late from the time I was suppose to be there. I had a scheduled apt at 9:30 the time United should had landed yet you failed me.

I arrived at your final destination (Paris, CDG) the following day, September 6 at 9:35PM, on an alternative Delta flight that you booked at your own expense. I lost a full day out of my 4-day travel.

We waited approximately 3 hours inside the plane - no food was supplied and no one available onsite to give support. I had to rebook my flight for the day after loosing already a full business day with customers in USA. On top my luggage was damaged and had to buy a new suitcase.

United lost our carry-on bag on the...

United lost our carry-on bag on the way to my daughter's university graduation. They said there was no room for it and there was plenty of room in the cabin. We had our camera inside the bag as they just whisked it away. We were unable to take pictures of graduation the next day. We got the bag back on our way home. On the way back to EWR we were held at the airport on the plane and then in the luggage area waiting for our luggage with no information from the airlines for hours. When the luggage was released, mine was not there. It took several days to get my bags back. Our driver also waited for hours for us to get out of the terminal.

Got an alert my flight home to EWR ...

Got an alert my flight home to EWR was cancelled, no reason was given. No alternative travel options were provided. I quickly bought a flight from Lisbon to Porto, to try and catch a different flight home. I was able to get united to switch my original flight to the one departing to Porto. I got an uber to lisbon airport and got the flight to porto. I was able to make a different united flight to ewr from porto. I missed a ticketed event in NYC due to the delayed arrival as well as incurred extra costs and stress from rushing to Porto portugal. Additionally I had to hire an uber from EWR to Philadelphia due to the missed event and transportation I had arranged that was $126.

My flight IAH-LHR was slightly delayed, causing me and fellow travellers on the same path to sprint through the terminal with hopes to catch the flight. There we were stopped for a security check that took a lot of time. After going through the metal detectors and while waiting for my hand luggage, that was moved to another line to be inspected by the security personnel, I was approached by a Heathrow worker asking if anyone was connecting to Zurich, which I instantly confirmed, pointing at my bags still sitting in a queue at the 5th position (with a total of around 7-8 bags and only 1 officer inspecting the bags). After finally seeing my bag next in line, we were told, that the gate was already closed and there was no way for us to make that flight. We made our way through a quick ID check upstairs, and right after that I received an email that my flight was rebooked and my new flight was leaving at 12:25 (3.5 hours later than planned). The next flight was also delayed, approximately 40 minutes, some of those spent at the gate, some in the plane waiting for taxi.

My family of five was traveling from Rome, Italy to the US and our flight was canceled due to a mechanical failure (a burned out light on the wing) after we were sitting on the plane for 3 hours. We had to stay overnight and take an alternate flight we booked at our own expense and United refuses to reimburse us for our alternate flight, even though their agent verbally told us to do so (it was another United flight with the same fare class, just a day later). I am out $4048 in ticket fares because of this incident. There were only three United agents working at the FCO airport once the flight was cancelled. We waited another 3 hours for our bags to be delivered to the carousel. We did not get to our hotel (which we booked on our own, again - per the United agent's advice) until late in the evening and had to wake early to get back to the airport and check in the next morning. We did not arrive at our final destination until 24 hours after our original arrival time.

Departed EWR on Sept 4 at 6:40pm Shortly before scheduled arrival in Venice airport on Sept 5 at 9:05am, our flight was diverted to Munich due to severe weather. Note that we landed in Munich at about 930a that same morning and the rest of the day was spent on the tarmac for approximately 4 hours, waiting for luggage approximately 2 hours and waiting to talk to a Lufthansa agent for rebooking approximately 1.5 hours. In other words, it was almost 8 hours between landing in Munich and exiting the airport to stay at the Hilton Munich Airport Hotel. United did reimburse me $200 for my $300 stay at the Hilton. I arrived in Venice the next day late morning having lost my first night prepaid accommodation and a good portion of my second day of vacation.
