Flight delay

This is the first and last time I fly frontier. They ruined my first solo trip. 3 hour delay. Missed connection. Redirected to an airport with no rental cars. They lost my luggage. I had no clothes to go to the concert I planned to attend that evening. It was a horrible experience.

Flight cancelation notice was given...

Flight cancelation notice was given by email in less than 8 hours at night when I was sleeping to catch the flight in the morning. I still went to the airport to inquire and possibly rebook for next flight. Rebooking options were more than 12 to 24 hours past with an indirect route with potentially another 12+ hours of flight duration including connecting flights in opposed to my direct flight of around 2hours. My five day trip was ruined and my hotel refused to refund the reservation money and so did my car parking reservation company. I lost prebooked hotel and parking reservation money. Fortunately the airlines did refund the flight money upon call. However my planned 5 day vacation was ruined along with the stress of losing money for prebooked reservations. I did not receive any further communications from Frontier except the cancelation notice at 3:40am on July 19 2026. I was suppose to depart at 8:20 am on July 19 2026, that is less than 5 hours for a cancelation notice.

I also made a DOT compliant, but frontier airlines is hiding under the loophole 14 CFR § 250.6(b) without providing detailed information about why there is a switch in aircraft. No Evidence.

Frontier informed us that the flight was oversold and that there were no seats available for us. As a result, we were involuntarily denied boarding. Frontier subsequently rebooked us onto another flight departing Orlando at approximately 3:30 PM, arriving after 6:00 PM, and, importantly, arriving at a different New York-area airport on Long Island rather than LaGuardia Airport, our originally ticketed destination.

When my partner and I went to board...

When my partner and I went to board flight from MSP to DEN departing at 10:15 am, on June 26th we were informed that we did not have seats. They put us in line to the ticket agent who informed us that they had downsized the plane and 20 people would be denied boarding. They handed us a card that had a QR code that simply linked to their refund info page. They also handed us a sheet titled “Notice to Passengers if Denied Boarding”.

The gate agent assured us (a crowd of passengers)that our expenses would be reimbursed. I called customer services at the gate and the agent assured me of the reimbursement Customer service would only rebook. However the next flight wasn't until 4 days later. I had already missed an additional day of work because we weren't notified of the delay until 7pm. They only option i had was to schedule a last minute flight. I also needed a rental car to leave the airport.
