The experience was so traumatizing. I spent much but just that the receipts are not all available. My books got lost, I was overly inconvenienced. It affected my education to the extend that my scholarship was withdrawn which causes me a lot. To worsen the situation, the firm well so inhumane without given me any hope and encouragement. I borrowed money and pushed me into much begging and a beggar.

&denied boarding , demanding another purchase for fully paid in EURO ticket before giving boarding pass. 25th April 2025 departing from Malaga airport to Toronto,Pearsson paind ticket

I was denied boarding pass on April 25th 2025,despite being early in airport, having my fully paid -Round-Trip- returned ticket in my hand, showing them, no reason given other than that ticket had been cancelled, without my notice, no reason. only choice and option given was to purchase another fully priced-ticket , this time in EURO which, which was twice as the price already paid in CANADIAN dollars few month in advance than the departure from Toronto , Pearsron -International- Airport ( March30th,2025)...many terlephone calles, website forms done, many emails enquiry sent, for reason, many registered letters sent to your office, without any result other than asking for another form for complaint by Mr, NDONG DIJIBRIT 4 hours on departure from Toronto Pearson, airport but not on return from MALAGA Airport

Overall

  • close asking for another payment for fully paid ticket this time in euro despite fully ppaid -round-trip ,returned ticket in hand on toime in boarding desk denied boarding pass until doubled-price-2nd- ticket paid

This is the claim I’m making for the second bag they lost. They lost two of our luggages and refuse to answer emails, calls are hung up on and they ignore us regarding both luggages. It has been a nightmare trying to get our luggage back or any compensation. They’re avoiding us on purpose to avoid paying us knowing very well they stole the bags. The first time someone called they said they think there might be two luggages that match our description but they were without tags. They said they would try to send it asap. The second time they called back after we emailed 6 times and called several times leaving voicemails they said nevermind it must be lost they don’t have the two that matched our bags anymore.

I have emailed them every single week for ten weeks now. Have gotten two calls in return where the employee was lost and confused and had no answer regarding our luggage and where it is. They lost two of our bags. Two luggage’s full of all our new stuff we just got the day before for Christmas. They hang up when we call long distance, they don’t reply to emails. The company avoids you at all costs and have not once tried to make things right by either sending back the luggage and at this point ten weeks later compensating us. What they’re doing is illegal and immoral according to the Montreal convention.

It has really been hard for me this past month of going to Fiumicino airport to make enquiries about my missing luggage after all the online correspondence failed. I made calls, send mails, filled out the forms, made frequent visits to the airport, all to no avail; my luggage was officially declared lost after the due date. The three visits I have made to the airport has notably affected my work as well. I even got to the point of getting to manually check for my suitcase in the store where lost items are kept, all without success. The greatest disappointment is that there was no information about my luggage in their system which has made me feel doubted. Worse still, the paperwork involved in this process is a complete disaster. Neither did the airline show seriousness in following up my case.It has been a regret for me choosing Air Maroc because both to and from my journey I have had luggage issues, I absolutely don't recommend this airline to anyone willing to travel comfortably. With all due respect.

We arrived at midnight. The airline company didn't say anything or give food, drinks, or coupons during the delay. No announcement for the delay. Nothing. We were stuck at the airport for such a long time, and they didn't care at all. After I sent mail and complained, they said it was an extraordinary circumstance. I don't believe it. I also want money for the trouble and the misbehaviour.

London-Conakry

Economy

I experienced severe baggage delays that myself and my travel partners were affected by from Royal Air Maroc on our recent flights from London to Conakry, via Casablanca (AT801 and AT527). On arrival in Conakry I found that none of my checked bags had come through, and only one of the check-in bags of my companions arrived, but it was a carry-on bag which we were asked to go into luggage while we were boarding. What is worse, RAM did not notify us (nor any of the other passengers) or provide any communication or guidance whatsoever after this. I got 2 of my 3 bags on Sat 20th Dec, and my bag containing my actual clothes only arrived on the Tue 23rd, FIVE DAYS after arrival, and almost halfway through my entire trip. After landing, we were looking and queuing for hours to figure out what happened as nobody had a clear answer, and we logged Property Irregularity Reports. After that, we were forced to return to the airport every day for 5 days just to try to find out baggage, as even the tracer details from the PIRs provided no actual updates (and still do not). Due to the urgency of our situation, we took the time to go the RAM office in Conakry where the manager was not even present, then needed to make multiple phone calls and messages to track down our bags. Even then, we were told that they would come through on that day, which they did not. So RAM is not even honest with their customers. Up to this day we have had no update by email on any of this. This is appalling and disgraceful service which costed time, money and peace of mind. This trip is lasting only 2 weeks, so this has wasted our time, cost us petrol money to drive back and forth, and forced us to buy essentials which were in our luggage. Plans I made for the first few days had to be postponed because of this, and most importantly, there were medicinal products in my partner’s luggage which affected his health and digestion. On top of the stress of not knowing if our many bags would even arrive. In the end, our bags came separately across multiple days and we collected one on the 19th, five on the 20th, and one for each of the 3 days after. The final bag had all my clothes in, so I was stuck for 5 days without clothing and needing to postpone my plans and reduce the scope of my holiday. I cannot overstate how frustrating and stressful this was, and how it has materially impacted my journey and my travel companions in a negative way.

We were denied boarding during the connection at Casablanca. The airline said the plane was already taking off at 12:55 when we arrived at the gate. Note that I travelled on this trip with my wife, 3 year old son and 1 year old son. The stress of not finding my luggage was distressing particularly as I had to travel to the airport 4 times (1hour 30mins trip, one way) during the traffic-laden festive period each time having to leave my helpless wife to take care of our two children without assistance. It is abysmal that over a year later I have neither received my luggage nor been compensated.

upon arrival in Casablanca, it became apparent that the one-hour layover with the delay on the previous flight did not realistically allow sufficient time to account for the disembarkation, airport procedures, terminal movement, and boarding formalities for the onward flight. As a direct result, I missed my connecting flight to London, despite exercising due diligence and complying fully with all passenger requirements. At no point during the booking process was I clearly informed or warned that the gate was changed, the layover time was critically short or operationally risky, particularly for a passenger travelling with a toddler. As a lay passenger, I was entitled to rely on Royal Air Maroc’s expertise and duty of care to ensure that the itinerary offered was reasonably achievable. The consequences of this failure were severe and foreseeable. I was stranded in transit for 24 hours, subjected to prolonged waiting time at the airport, significant stress, disruption to my travel plans, and distress while caring for a young child in a non-home environment. These events were not caused by any action or omission on my part, but rather by an inadequate and impractical connection constructed and sold by the airline.

Cancellation of flight, flight disruptions

On 28 October 2025, I purchased return flight tickets for myself and my three children from Marrakech to Casablanca en route to Lagos at a total cost of approximately £4,800. On the day of outbound travel (12 December 2025), we were denied boarding due to an alleged Moroccan eVisa requirement. This requirement was never disclosed at the time of booking. As a result, I was forced to reroute our journey at an additional cost of £2,780. I was expressly assured by Royal Air Maroc staff that our return flight on 8 January 2026 would remain unaffected. On 8 January 2026, I discovered that our return flight had been cancelled without my authorisation or any notification. Your staff were unable to provide a proper explanation and described the cancellation as a “system glitch”. We were instructed to attend the airport to report the issue to the flight manager. Under distress and anxiety, we travelled to the airport and were eventually permitted to fly. Upon arrival in Marrakech, our five checked bags failed to arrive. While completing the baggage loss report, we missed our Jet2 connecting flight to London. Our five checked bags remain missing to date. As no alternative flights were available from Marrakech to London, we were forced to purchase new Royal Air Maroc tickets from Marrakech to Casablanca at a cost of £478. We then purchased replacement flights from Casablanca to London on 10 January 2026 at 1:25pm at a cost of £1,500. Upon arrival in Casablanca, we were forced to secure overnight accommodation at our own expense, as Royal Air Maroc failed to provide any assistance, hotel accommodation, meals, or transport.

Edmund Falipcor Gayflor Lagos Trip Experience

I bought my flight ticket through Expedia to depart from Toronto to Lagos on the 19th of November 2025 at 9:25 pm . Early that morning, at about 7:45 am on the 19th of November I tried to check in online, but I could not check in because the name was on the ticket was different from the name on my passport . I called Expedia immediately after my attempts check in, to see as to whether the issue could be rectified, but the Expedia agent told me that he will have to email Air Maroc customer service department because that is the standard procedure. The agent told me that I will have to check back in 2 to 3 hours at which time he will be expecting to receive a reply to the email he sent to Air Maroc. I was working on that Wednesday, so I did not call Expedia back till 5 hours later, and the agent told me that Air Maroc had not responded to the email he sent to them regarding the discrepancy of the name on the ticket and that of my passport. He told me sometimes it might take up to 24 hours to get feedback from Air Maroc, so I should go to the airport, and see if I can board the plane for my round trip to Lagos, Nigeria. I went to Pearson Airport in Toronto and board the flight # 255 the flight for Casablanca, Morocco arriving on the November 20, 2025, and then boarded flight # 211 to Lagos, Nigeria arriving on November 21, 2025. On November 30th, 2025, about 2:45 am I tried to check in online and I encountered the same problem I experienced on November 19, 2025 . I arrived at the check-in counter at 5:20 am on November 30, 2025 with 4 other folks. one of the folks had checked in on line so he was allowed to board, and the couple who spoke the same language as your agent were allowed to board but will have to leave their luggage and only take the carry-on, while the other gentle man and I were not allowed. I was willing to leave behind my suitcases and only take my carry-on, but I was not allowed to. For the other gentleman, he could not leave any of his stuff behind so he wait for the next flight. This was not consider a no show because there were other people that boarded Infront of me, and if I had checked in online, I would have been able to board the plan. Every time when I am flying, I make sure to check in online which makes my trip more convenient and avoid line-ups. If I knew that your office was not going to rectify the error , I was going to cancel that ticket because I know the inconvenience that comes with such problem. I was only told that my name could not be rectify when I was already in Lagos. It was your professional obligation to respond to the email that was sent to your office on the 19th of November 2025. Your office did not respond to that email all . This was not my fault and I will want the overage I paid to come back to Canada. Your Airline costed me a lot.

Time without Luggage: Approximately 1 day Impact on the Family's Trip: We arrived at the airport in Milan on December 20 and waited for nearly 30 minutes for our luggage, with no airline staff available to assist us. We approached the information desk and were directed to the Lost and Found office. There, we were informed that our bags had not arrived and a Property Irregularity Report (PIR) was filed. We were told it could take up to three days for the bags to be delivered. I explained that our travel plans involved daily trips to different locations in the Swiss Alps, which would make it impossible to receive the luggage at a fixed address. Since we had no choice but to wait, I asked to be notified as soon as the bags arrived so that I could pick them up from the airport myself. As a result, we had to rethink our entire schedule. On December 21, we had planned a full day of activities in Milan, including pre-booked visits to the Last Supper and the Duomo di Milano. Without appropriate winter clothing, we had to rush to nearby stores to buy essential items for the morning tours, including hygiene items, makeup, and warm clothes. The following day, while trying to stick to our schedule, we still received no updates from the airline. By early afternoon, realizing we needed more suitable clothing for the Alps and knowing we had hotel and transport reservations already paid for, we bought additional items. Eventually, we were notified by the Milan airport that two of our bags had arrived. By the time we got to the airport, all four bags had arrived on two separate flights. Upon retrieving our luggage, we confirmed that none of our items were missing. However, one of the suitcases had a damaged wheel. This added further inconvenience and additional stress to our trip, as we had to manage a broken suitcase along with the other disruptions. Throughout this entire period, we received absolutely no direct communication from Royal Air Maroc. This situation caused significant disruption, additional expenses, and impacted the overall enjoyment of our trip.

I purchased a Royal Air Maroc ticket Lagos–Manchester return ticket for my mum through BudgetAir. On her return journey from Manchester to Lagos, she was denied check-in at Manchester Airport. The airline explained that there was an issue with the first leg of her flight (Manchester–Casablanca), as the booking details were not appearing in their system. She was advised to contact the issuing agency to have the ticket reissued. While I was in the process of resolving this, the airline ultimately refused to let my mum travel. I reached out to BudgetAir customer service who advised me that the ticket was valid from their end and they asked me to contact Royal Air Maroc, when I called Royal Air Maroc customer service, they redirected me back to Budget Air. This has been an extremely frustrating and distressing experience for myself and my mum. I have had to buy another ticket for my mum to travel back to Nigeria

Deplorable passenger support

Passengers from Sierra Leone to Casablance were told to 'leave the aircraft with your luggage' during a transit stop at Roberts Airport, Liberia on 28.11.25. On leaving the plane they were left standing or sitting in the access tunnel and gantry connecting the plane to the terminal. No explanation was given and airport security guards refused entry to the airport. Passengers were left without information or contact with the airline for more than thirty minutes with no seating, water or access to toilets. When I demanded to know why this apaulling treatment had taken place the head steward said it was on the captain's instructions because he decided that Roberts Airport had insufficient fire engines to deal with an emergency during refuelling of the aircraft. While this concern with safety may be legitimate, it totally ignored passenger comfort, the right to information and actually imposed significant safetry issues in terms of the capacity of the gantry to hold passengers under these conditions.

The delay in London caused me to miss my connecting flight in Casablanca/CMN to Banjul/BJL. I reach my final destination a day later than booked. It caused me to miss an important event. The air line provided accommodation for the next day flight to Banjul

The first bag arrived 10 days later, while the other 2 bags arrived 20 days later. On arrival, a number of items had been stolen from my bags, the receipts for which I have uploaded in this claim. Most of my expenses incurred during that entire 3 week period were done by cash payments because my cards were in my hand luggage, (eg clothing, underwear and basic toiletterories), all costing approximately $200. Every attempt to file a claim online was futile, as I received no response. The offices at Douala, and also the customer service for the airline in USA said it can only be done online, yet I didn't as much as receive a confirmation of receipt of claim nor a claim reference number. When I filed the claim with American Airlines upon my return I received a denial letter stating that the international airline is responsible. The airline did not provide any cash nor vouchers for incidentals

My flight with Royal Air Maroc (RAM) was originally scheduled to depart at 9:00 PM, but it was delayed several times. First, it was rescheduled to 3:00 AM, and then it finally departed at 5:00 AM. As a result, I experienced a total delay of about 8 hours, waiting from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM. I had a lot of difficulty finding someone to pick me up from the airport when I arrived.

I was traveling from London Gatwick to Bamako Sénou (Mali) with a stopover in Casablanca. I had two checked bags and one cabin suitcase. At check-in, I was told that due to a full flight, I would also need to check in my cabin suitcase, which I accepted. Upon arrival in Bamako, none of my luggage was delivered. For an entire week, I had no belongings and was forced to buy essentials such as shoes and clothes. After a week, only my cabin suitcase was found, but the two checked bags were never recovered. I filed a claim through Royal Air Maroc’s website and provided all requested information. It has now been five months, and despite calling almost every week, I have received no refund or compensation. Each time, my call is merely acknowledged, with no progress made. I have also seen similar complaints from other passengers online. If possible, avoid this airline, they are unprofessional and unreliable.

Technical problems

The airline cancelled our original flight, AT814 on 25th July on the same day it was due to fly (just a few hours before), and put us on their next flight which was 2 days later.. this delayed us in Tangiers until 27th July. There were no other available flights back sooner - we had to extend our 2 hotel rooms at the hotel "Idou Malabata Beach & Spa" for an additional 2 nights. The cost of the rooms alone to extend our stay was £1,562 (without room taxes) + £400 food & beverage. Furthermore on the 27th July, our already 2 day delayed flight was again unexpectedly delayed another 3 hours at the airport as it had taken off late from where the plane was flying in from. The airline gave a sandwich and a small bottle during this delay. Overall it was a terrible experience. We missed business meetings and events in London that were extremely important and was a huge inconvenience. We would like to request full compensation to cover these necessary expenses, along with any standard compensation that may apply under the relevant passenger rights regulations. We both uploaded the same complaint on Royal Air Maroc website customer services form (as advised by their phone representatives), and I have attached for your convenience, file called "1". And their response which we both recently received providing no offer for any compensation, attached and labelled "2". Thank you for any support you can assist us with.

Failed ancillary service of wheelchair

With a great displeasure am writing this note, On the 19/08/2025 which is yesterday my mum (Bolatito Ayisat Akinpelu) traveled on your Airline, Royal Air Maroc from Manchester to Lagos which has a stop over in Casablanca with the flight AT819 and AT555. Unfortunately, the airline failed to provide the ancillary service of assistance with wheelchair, despite my request after calling your customer service to double confirmed before the departure 2 days before. As a result of this failure , my mum was forced to walk with her bags, which caused her physical strain and discomfort, ultimately leading to her feeling unwell which she needed to be quickly attended to by some of other travellers when they noticed her way of panting and discomfort.
