Technical problems
1. We arrived in Seattle (SEA) in Washington USA at 15:45pm on 24th May on an alternative flight (VS0105), which was more than 4 hours later than the original arrival time at 11:35pm. 2. BA Flight cancellation was due to technical issues of the aircraft. 3. BA re-booked us onto an alternative flight (VS0105) however I was off-boarded from the re-booked e-ticket : 125-2199051250 (MRS LE HSIEN CHEN) due to name mismatch between my re-booked ticket and my ESTA. 30 minutes before the alternative flight check-in was due to close, BA told me they would refund my original ticket but I need to purchase a new Virgin flight ticket for the same flight, which costs GBP2216.22 (ticket: 1 932 2144794749 6) 4. The incident caused us to miss 2 days of our 7-day cruise departing from Seattle on the 24 May at 2pm. As a result, it has incurred tremendous amount of stress and financial loss due to additional costs (flights from Seattle to Juneau, 1 night at the Seattle airport and 1 night hotel in Juneau, meals and drinks) before we caught up with our cruise ship on the 26 May in Juneau.- London-Seattle

the first flight was delayed, causing us to miss our connection to Manchester. the airline gave us a hotel for the night and booked us on a new flight the next day, which meant we arrived at around 4:30pm on October 10th, 18 hours later than expected- Tokyo-Manchester

This was a big inconvenience to us What time did you arrive at your final destination? We landed in London on the evening of the 10th May at around 11pm and had to organize new transfers to our business accommodation we eventually got to our accommodation at 1am in the morning What did the airline tell you, and when? Yes they informed us while waiting to bord the plane that there was a delay What care did the airline provide, if any? They asked us to be patient and after another hour we were informed that we needed to exit the airport and take a bus to accommodation provided by the airline How did the incident inconvenience you? We decided to leave a day earlier so that we could catch the nighttime flight as I have had back surgery and it would be easier for me to fly whilst asleep. The day flight was a complete nightmare for me as I had to keep on getting up so help with back pain. Did you miss an event or lose money? We did lose time and my husband put in a claim for the money lost for transfer etc- Cape Town-London

Uncomfortable Flight in Premium Economy BA0085 May 20 2025
Uncomfortable conditions in Premium Econamy. While seated in window seats the conditions were far from what we expected,The panel and window were extremely cold, making our journey unpleasant.wWe had to keep exchanging seats to try to stay warm.Blankets were provided but insufficient to stem the cold.We expected a higher standard of comfort , When this was not addressed by staff their only comment was Madam we cannot please everyone therefore dismissing our concerns. My husband requested first choice lamb on the menu, not available, second choice chicken not available, He was presented with Vega pasta he could not eat , only food a small salad abd bread roll! The failure to provide a comfortable environment combined with lack of empathy left us feeling dissatisfied and undervalued as a customer. We request that you investigate this matter. Sincerely Patricia and Robert Tesan. 2 unsatisfied Canadians.- Economy
Lack of any choice on Club Class menu on outbound and inboun
On the outbound flight from LHR to Riga (BA880), the only available main course (supposedly three choices) 'Choice' was disgusting. I ate a little of it because I was hungry but even the bread roll was stale ! On the return flight BA881 I was again told there was no choice. The only dish was one I could not eat. It is not enough to say in small print at the very bottom of the menu "We apologise if your meal choice is not available". They (BA) should say at the top of menu "IF AVAILABLE choice is". BA is charging a serious premium for Club seats and suggesting that they are offering a service. It is inexcusable that they cannot get the catering aspect right. A decent sandwich would have been preferable to what I had on my outbound flight. Over many years I travelled with BA on business. I had not done so for some time and if my experience is typical of what one gets in Club these days, I shall make sure I do not do so again. Presumably ordering of meals on flights is done by some of an AI system but to have this experience twice within four days (on flights to and then from Riga) is unacceptable./ The only solution is to ensure that as many people as possible know that paying for a premium service on BA (which is where I understand the company makes its money) is a complete waste of money. A sad conclusion to reach since I still have some shares in IAG !- Economy

Staffing issues
Dear Sir/Madam, I wish to make a complaint against the staff for the way my wife and I were treated on your flight from Warsaw at 18.50 to London Heathrow on Tuesday 8th April 2025. Our booking reference number was: WPSIM8. It has taken me a while to take action with this grievance for a couple of reasons. Firstly, when I approached the head stewardess in the forward galley to make my complaint, she sat me down with our backs to the cockpit. She had her I-pad on her lap and began to type out my initial complaint which was that I felt that the way the seating arrangements had been advertised was a misrepresentation of how the seating was in reality. abc def xxx xxx row 24 xxx xxx row 25 _xx row 26 This is roughly how the seating arrangements were advertised when I made my choice to reserve 26b and 26c. The reality was, that far from being on a little island, we were tucked tightly on the end of the block of seats with a stewardess strapped in on 26a. I complained that I had paid for seats that had been misrepresented. We were told that the Captain had blocked all the other empty seats and they would see what they could do later. In the meanwhile the man sitting in 25d decided to move because the two men who were sitting in row 26 behind him were digging their knees into the back of his chair, so he moved to 24d leaving row 25def completely free. So even though we had paid to sit in 26b and 26c we moved to 25d and 25f. This is something we have done on numerous occasions on previous flights without a problem. I would say that within five minutes we were surrounded by three staff demanding that we move back to our seats or otherwise the Captain would refuse to take off. We were given no choice in the matter and so we had to move back and the other man stayed where he was while the plane took off without incident. After takeoff I went to the stewardess (maria?) who had been strapped into 26a and asked her if we could now move. She told me that because we had broken the rules there was no chance of being moved. I asked her what rules. She said because we moved without permission. So we stayed in our seats for the remainder of the flight. When I went to the head stewardess to explain everything she asked me if I wished to make a complaint and I told her that I did. She typed out my complaint about the fact that I objected to the way the seating arrangements were advertised but didn’t mention anything else. When I complained that she missed some of our complaint, her attitude changed and she became more hostile and intimidating towards me. For example, she told me that I should stop using simple hand gestures and when I told her that the stewardess who I was complaining about was only two yards away in the First Class galley listening and staring at me, she rebuked me for trying to tell her how to run her staff. Then she said that this stewardess (Maria) was on her break (during a two hour flight?). She then turned friendly again and asked if I still wanted to make the complaint and I said yes thinking that when I receive a reply I will follow up on the rest. She told me it would take four to five days to receive a reply and I have been waiting ever since. The second reason for the delay is that we had to return to Warsaw a couple of times to resolve a problem but we are now back in England. I used to be a Silver British Airways Club member, so a reasonable customer, but over the years my wife and I have had irritating encounters with staff which has led us to believe that standards in staff selection has been lowered. When we have complained to the staff they form an alliance which cannot be beaten. We don’t use BA as much as we used to, preferring the service of other airlines and although we have never complained to you before, we just felt that we had to this time because of the appalling way we were treated. I hope you can find a way to welcome us back and regain our confidence in our national carrier because at the moment it is at rock bottom. Kind Regards Mr. and Mrs. Devine.- Economy

They rebooked me the next available flight, it was at 7pm UK time, i had to wait in Heathrow for 6-7 hours and instead of arriving at my final destination at 18:40 I arrived at 2am. They just gave me a £10 voucher for refreshments. I've contacted the airline the next day by submitting a claim and there response was this: We regret to inform you that the delay you experienced was due to a slot delay caused by airfield weather conditions at your destination. Unfortunately, such delays are beyond our control, and as a result, we are not responsible for any disruptions caused by this situation. We understand that this delay may have affected your travel plans, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience it has caused. However, please note that since this delay was due to external factors, compensation is not applicable, even if you missed your connecting flight.- Baltimore-Larnaca

Missing baggage
Claim Submission for Misplaced Bag Date: 12th May 2025 To Whom It May Concern, Ref: LHRBA86665 I am writing to formally submit a claim for compensation regarding my misplaced bag that occurred on 11th May 2015 while traveling with British Airways (Indigo) My booking reference is VR9NJ8 The details of the incident are as follows: • Anne Rodricks • Flight No: Delhi to BOM: 6F2163 and Flight No: BOM to LHR: BA138 • Date of Travel: 10th May 2025 from DEL to BOM • Bag Description: Black IT Luggage I have reported the incident to your customer service on 11th May at London Heathrow and have followed all necessary procedures. I understand that my bags have now been located, Ref: LHRBA86665 I would like to bring to your attention when I arrived at Delhi airport, I asked at least 3 members of Indigo staff to help me located the check in counter as I was travelling from Delhi to Mumbai and then to London Heathrow from Mumbai. The staff are rude. I was passed from one check in counter to another. The experience was stressful and not warranted in a chaotic airport with rude and unhelpful staff of Indigo that British Airways uses. Finally, I got my bags checked in and was reassured that the baggage would go straight to London Heathrow. Upon arriving at Heathrow Airport approximately 06.40 all other passengers picked their luggage except mine did not arrive. I reported this to BA counter and followed the procedure. My partner came to pick me up and incurred a charge of £18.50 for parking. I expect British airways to compensate this. On another note, I also like to inform you that the service on British Airways was appalling. I found the staff unhelpful. The food that was provided was awful. Chicken curry with no chicken and the salad was off. Considering this situation, I am requesting compensation for the lost/delayed baggage, car park ticket and the stress I had to encounter with traveling with BA. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. I look forward to your response. Sincerely, Yours sincerely Anne Rodricks- Economy

Tampa International Airport was OK. No problems.
The food served up on the Airoplane - the evening meal was very late, but also more importantly disgusting. Similarly the ‘so called breakfast’ was also disgusting. As BA claims to be ‘The Worlds Favorite Airline’, whoever is creating these dreadful concoctions needs firing. In my 59 years of flying around the world, I can’t remember being served up such dreadful airline food. If I fly British Airways again, I’ll bring sandwiches, that I have made myself.- Economy

I received a cancellation notice on May 4th without any details provided. The only suggested option was to refund booking, no care and alternative flights were provided. I claimed a refund already. I was stressed that I wouldn't be able to return from my trip on time, wouldn't be able to work, and would have to take more leave days. On my original flight I booked an extra legroom seat (I'm 6 ft 5in tall and it's important to me on long flights), but on the new flight I wasn't able to book it. I had to buy another ticket from another airline for the same date. This flight (El Al LY317) arrived to London at 20:20.- Tel-aviv-London

I booked a flight back to Manchester from Melbourne for a family emergency and when I purchased the flight it was advertised as 23:30. I only booked the flight at 19:20 and expected to have 4 hours to make it to the flight but once l checked my emails for the confirmation I was shocked to realise the time had changed to 21:15. This made me not have enough time to make it to the airport in time before check in closed. I booked a Uber as fast as I could in an attempt to get there in time but once I got there the check in desk had shut 8 minutes before I got there and they did not offer any support. After this had happened I was stuck in the airport and I immediately booked the next flight home and got an Uber and accommodation back in the city. I eventually got back to Manchester on the 4th February. I really didn't expect this from a company like British airways/Qatar and don't know why Im the one being penalised from it. I would never have booked the flight if I knew the flight time was different to the one that I originally purchased. This has caused a lot of panic and headache and I have multiple screenshots and evidence showing the advertised flight times I was given ,I would like to receive compensation. Many thanks- Melbourne-Manchester

Our original flight departing Cleveland was delayed by two hours, so we could not make our original connections in JFK and Heathrow. Therefore, we were rebooked on different flights in JFK and LHR, which resulted in us arriving at our final destination (LIN) over 6 hours later than our original itinerary. Both of us missed work commitments scheduled for the afternoon. More details: There was no pilot for the first leg of our journey from CLE to JFK, which caused us to miss the remainder of our original connections. The airline announced this at the airport after we arrived at the gate - no pilot - and it was nearly 2 hours before they got a pilot for the flight. The plane was there. Our entire itinerary was booked on British Airways and while the CLE-JFK was flown by American Airlines, there is a BA flight code.- Cleveland-Milan

I purchased a return ticket with BA from LHR to Delhi. I paid over £1,000. I returned to London on Saturday 26th April 2025. The flight was scheduled to land at 1525. I left the airport at almost 8pm. My luggage -- two samsonite suitcases were not onboard the aircraft -- BA099716 and BA099326. (This is not the first time this has happened with BA). I have reported my luggage lost -- ref: LHRBA85029. . I have serious concerns -- involving not just myself but other vulnerable passengers and also a very serious security breach involving the Saudi royal family (Prince Hisham) committed by ground staff at the customer services desk at LHR in Terminal 5 I have recorded all of this and I am happy to forward these recordings / photographs and other evidences to the relevant person / people. I have asked BA to please obtain CCTV / camera footage from the customer services desk from Saturday 26th April 2025 between 7pm and 8pm local time here in the UK. When I entered Delhi airport and headed to the desk for BA -- I was ushered by Jyoti Kumari to an electronic machine where my boarding pass and two tags for my bags were printed out (I had checked in on the 25 April 2025). She then took me to another area -- away from counter M -- where there was another ground staff member who took my passports and attached the labels to the two bags. She then ripped one off and applied another. When I got to the gate and was boarding, I was taken aside by the BA ground staff manager there who asked me if I had any luggage. I told her I did -- two suitcases and showed her my boarding pass with the two tags attached. She then got another member of staff to look at my boarding pass with the tags. She then inputted something into the computer, gave me back my boarding pass and told me to board. I was assured my suitcases were on. When we were all seated ready to go, a man with a Canadian accent made an announcement -- I assume this the pilot. He said we would be arriving ahead of schedule in LHR. Later he came back saying that there were issues with luggage and that suitcases would have to be gone through. After almost two hours, he made another announcement. This time he said that three suitcases had been removed from the plane. During this period, some two hours sitting on the tarmac -- no refreshments were given. Minimal water was given -- certainly not enough for the heat in India / onboard the aircraft. We arrived at LHR T5 later than scheduled. The flight was scheduled to land at 3.25pm. The luggage was put on conveyor belt 8 -- there was luggage from other flights too on that belt. At 7.10pm, the signage against the flight from Delhi said: "bags arriving". This was also conveyed on the signage in the arrivals hall where people were waiting for me. I eventually went over to the customer services desk to find out what was going on. I repeatedly asked for water. Sadly, not one member of ground staff had the humanity to give me this at any point in time. I was told that you no longer supply this. 'Cherry' made a report for my lost luggage. I was asked by three members of ground staff on duty -- 'Gio' (who says he was a supervisor) and 'Satsima' and 'Cherry' -- when the next flights were taking off from Delhi to LHR. I told them that they were BA staff, I, a customer and surely it is for them to tell me: "This is terrible you guys, come on. This is not right. I shouldn't be asked. I'm the passenger who has been inconvenienced. You guys need to be on top of it, not me." They excused themselves saying: "We have so many flights". I told them "don't be giving me that excuse, it's your job. I've already been inconvenienced and not even been given a drop of water and look at the time delay". Manuel Martos Jaimez, who on enquiry said he was the customer service manager, started shouting at me. He made quite a few accusations, wrongly, as the evidence will show. He spoke over me. I told him that I didn't respond to people shouting. On this his voice got even louder. He then threatened me and said: "Ok, that's fine then we can close and don't serve you. Is that what you want madam?" He acted like a child back-and-forth and not a responsible manager. He gave filthy looks -- staring at me -- extremely aggressive. All of this is on record. I asked him: "If the CEO were here, would you speak like this to me Manuel?". He said: "Absolutely, absolutely." Then Gio intervened. He again asked me for details of the next flight taking off from Delhi to LHR. All the while, Manuel was argumentative -- going on and on and not dealing with the issue. He constantly spoke over me -- shouting. Again Gio cut in asking me -- not any of his BA ground staff colleagues -- about the next flight leaving from Delhi. I asked him, would he like me to google it. Gio said: "If you don't mind." I called Chris Murphy (who works for the BBC), waiting in arrivals and asked if he could help and google this. I am an asthmatic and I carry my inhalers in my hand luggage. However, in one of my suitcases, I have tablets which need to be taken to thwart an attack. I have been in good health and these have not been necessary but given this experience and the detriment that I have suffered and continue to suffer by BA -- I need their assistance. Gio scolded me, saying BA advises passengers to carry all their medications onboard in their hand-luggage. Literature publicly available from BA does not state this. In fact passengers are allowed to carry what they need in their hand-luggage and also they are allowed to put it in their luggage that goes into the cargo. I asked if there was any way of communicating with Delhi, given my needs. I was told no. That everything is done via a computer -- that there is no duty manager to talk with at Delhi and that passengers like myself who have been greatly inconvenienced have to wait till a response comes and that can be up to 72 hours. Manuel continued to argue. I said that I would contact you. He said: "Now you're being threatening madam". I said: "No I am not". He said: "That is abuse". I said: "It is my right to complain. That's not abusive. You need to calm yourself down. Shouting isn't effective." As I exited, I cried and the person I spoke to said that they knew what BA staff like: "This is why I only fly Virgin or any other airline other than BA. It's not an enjoyable experience." I would agree with him. I certainly will not fly BA ever again. I contacted the baggage people who are in India. All of those calls have also been recorded. I was given a lot of contradictory information. I was told by one handler to call an ambulance. I was told that they are a "small team" and that they deal with all the baggage lost from all over the world and that there is no manager in charge of that operation. I was told that my baggage had been offloaded because it contained medicine. This is extremely concerning. If that is the case why was I not told in Delhi? Why would BA allow a passenger to fly without their medicines? You must be aware that you have a duty of care towards every single passenger you carry and that you are vicariously liable for the actions / omissions of all your staff. I was told that it might take a week before I get my bags. Yet today, Sunday 27th April at 2.38pm my bags reportedly reached LHR, T5. I asked BA's handlers if I could go to LHR and collect them -- I live half an hour away. I do not want to be hospitalised. The handler put the phone down and it appears that your lost luggage department closes early. My two cases were returned today -- Monday 28th April at 2.32pm. (There are other calls with BA -- all of which I recorded -- most passive-aggressive). Regarding Saudi Arabia Prince Hisham. BA ground staff at customer services made derogatory comments about him in front of passengers. They spoke about his luggage being lost in Phoenix on April 12th 2025. They very clearly gave his email address and residential address in London. All of this is on my recording. I do not think he -- or any other passenger travelling on BA -- would like to hear about this. They have breached his data protection and it is a very serious security risk. The way BA ground staff spoke was shocking at the customer service desk. Anyone listening would have the impression they are doing this all the time. I have not been given any reasonable explanation for why this happened to my luggage and why I was delayed on arrival and why it took them till today to return my bags. This has inconvenienced me in terms of my health; I have had to spend many hours on the phone chasing this up with BA -- so much contradictory information was given. I have not been able to go into the office Sunday or Monday. I had an appointment with a lawyer, scheduled for today, but this had to be cancelled because I had to wait in to receive my bags. It has caused a great deal of stress and upset and at no point in time -- despite my repeat requests for water -- was I given any.- Delhi-London

Influence by other flights
Initially, my flight from Hyderabad to Manchester was delayed by a few minutes, reducing my layover time in London to just 30 minutes. While I was on my way to catch the connecting flight from London to Manchester, I was stopped by security, who informed me that the remaining time was insufficient to complete the necessary checks. As a result, I missed the connecting flight. While arranging hotel accommodation, the staff received a call from security informing them that the connecting flight had been delayed by 20 minutes. Despite this, they still stated that there wasn’t enough time to complete the security procedures. Consequently, I was provided with hotel accommodation and rebooked on a flight the following day.- Hyderabad-Manchester

Transfers in and from hotel and airport at Athens
1. Text message from Moschidis Diminitris just after 10 pm on Thursday night (few hours we had before getting up for taxi to airport) asking for passport details otherwise we can’t be picked up. Why so late? Not happy. Had to get up and sort this. 2. He gave us the photo of the male driver who will be picking us up from the airport to the hotel. 3. We spent about 40 minutes going in and out of the airport several times and also tried calling. Finally we found the person. It was a lady instead standing at the corner and she was abrasive. 4. We know we booked for a shared transfer and there will be a few drops for customers at different hotels. However, we were made to wait further for more flight/s and finally left the airport. It took us from arrival to the airport and to get to the hotel over 3 hours, we reached the hotel at about 4 pm! 5. On 14 April we texted to the same person to ask what time we would be picked up from the hotel to take us to the airport on 16 April. No reply received and we can see that the message from us was read by Moschidis 6. On 15 April we tried contacting him and also texted again. no reply. We got anxious and discovered at the tail end of the print out that we were supposed to go on a link. We use the 2 contact numbers provided and no answer in spite of 24 hours. Finally, got recorded message in Greek. 7, Rushed down to Reception and the staff was helpful. It was past 10 pm. He left a message for them to get back to him. Finally they got back to Reception and we were booked. 8. What we find it hard to understand is (1) whilst we had a shared transfer service we did. To expect to be waiting for other flights, this has never happened before. (2) we had already paid for transfers to BA in good faith and the onus we believe on the transfer company to schedule our transfer and keep us informed. They know our contact number. Again, this is not the usual practice. We were always told the time of pick up by the company. (3) Moschidis could have advised us when we texted him two days before. We have had awful both ways of transfers from this company. To add, the drivers were pleasant and we had good service from both the drivers. Not the company. The stress we were put through is not acceptable. Hope to hear from you. Thank you. Subashini and Benjamin Peter Shepherd (WKTUJC)- Economy

Lack of response to complaint and claim for refund
Without advance warning/notification, BA downgraded my booking, from a specific seat in Premium Economy Cabin to Economy Cabin. No passenger on our flight was able to check in on-line. Some (but not us) were advised to turn up at the airport within 6 hours of scheduled departure time. By the time we got there (3hours prior to departure as advised) all seats bar those in Economy Class had been allocated and I was given a choice : delay my departure by 3 days or accept a seat in Economy and receive a refund for the difference in ticket price. Neither option was acceptable; however, I eventually accepted the seat in Economy. My partner cited exceptional circumstances (health-related) and was found an alternative seat in the PE Cabin. The experience was far from what we had booked and anticipated. BA Representatives at the airport were dismissive and uncaring. I received an acknowledgment of my complaint on 3/2/2024 and despite two subsequent telephone calls to BA and submission of two further forms, I have heard nothing since. Neither I nor my travelling companion have received the refund and compensation requested. (All we received is a refund for the additional costs I paid for allocated seats (£144 in total)). I find it both shocking and disgraceful that BA has ignored my complaint and claim despite me following the procedure they advised me to follow. Their complaints process is opaque (I cannot retrieve and review the complaint I made nor the two subsequent forms which BA representatives advised me to send). The process also seems unnecessary and unfit for purpose. I find it disgraceful that BA puts the onus on its passengers to complain and claim when BA has the information and arguably should have automatically refunded the difference in cost which I am claiming due to their downgrading of my booking and spoilt experience. I booked and paid for my flights 4 months prior to departure. 7 months on (3 months from my complaint) I remain out of pocket and strongly believe that BA should not only refund the difference in ticket cost but should also pay me compensation for the stress, distress, disappointment and discomfort, and inconvenience caused by the change in booking which they imposed on me and my travelling companion. Their lack of communication and customer care was shocking.- Economy

Item left on flight, and baggage problem
First, I left my WIFI Tablet on the plane, BA flight number BA2650. On my return, 3 weeks later I asked at the airport lost and found if It had been handed in. It has not. I presume there is no way this can now be found and returned, or is there? 2nd. I was not happy with the treatment of our luggage. On arrival at baggage reclaim. The belt was no longer turning. One case was on the floor, and no sign of the second case. We then spotted a case, wedged in the opening to the baggage belt, I climbed around a barrier, and pulled out the case. This belonged to another couple. Later, we found our second case, on the floor, wedged between the wall, and the baggage belt. I did not find this acceptable, could you comment please.- Economy

Problems at airport
We have been at the airport for 4 hours waiting and ready to board at the Gate. And they announced the Captain is Sick and flight Cancelled. Me and my wife got back home at 12:30 am. The airline didn’t provide any care. The flight inconvenienced us in so many ways. Missing out a day in our hotel booking. From boarding our dog to taking the kids all the way to their Grand Ma. Yes I missed money on Uber , On eating at the airport while we wait to rescheduled. And also taking Uber back home with our luggage’s.- Atlanta-Marrakech

Weather conditions
Our flight was the first of the day, and boarding was completed on time. However, after everyone was seated, it became clear that the aircraft still required de-icing—a process that ultimately took over an hour. While safety is, of course, the priority, it was frustrating to see that this essential preparation had not been accounted for earlier, causing an avoidable delay. Upon arrival in London, British Airways had agents assisting passengers with connecting flights. However, my flight was not among those they identified as affected, so I proceeded toward the shuttle buses to transfer to the other terminal. This is where the situation became even more frustrating. At the shuttle bus, I was told that I wasn’t allowed to board because my flight had been flagged as "you won’t make your connection; rebooking required." This was confusing, as I still had nearly two hours before my next departure. Following the agent’s instructions, I went to the service desk, waited in line for 30 minutes, and was rebooked without being given any alternative options. When I asked why I wasn’t allowed on the shuttle despite having ample time, I was told that the system automatically flags transfers under two hours as ‘impossible’, regardless of the actual time required. When I pressed further, the agent admitted that reaching my gate would have taken at most 30 minutes, leaving me with 1.5 hours to clear security—more than enough time. Her response? They couldn’t "guarantee" I’d get through security fast enough. This is absurd, given that airlines routinely expedite security for passengers with tight connections. A simple arrangement for fast-track passage or an organized transfer could have prevented the unnecessary inconvenience of rebooking and waiting for another flight. In summary, two key issues stand out: 1. Poor planning regarding weather conditions, leading to a preventable delay. 2. Disorganized handling of affected passengers at Heathrow, where rigid system rules overruled common sense, causing unnecessary rebookings instead of finding practical solutions. This experience left me frustrated, as it felt like both issues could have been easily avoided with better preparation and more passenger-focused decision-making.- Copenhagen-Norfolk Island

Writeup: Ba0106 - delayed on tarmac. Made us wait in the aircraft while it freezing cold - issues with some leakage in the ac unit - brought us back from the runway, our gate was lost coz it was given to the next flight. We had to wait for engineers to come on board to check on the leakage issue and make sure everything is okay - finally left at 4:35 instead of 2:15 am - with a total a delay of 2 hours 20 mins waiting on the tarmac - no food service coz of the flight departure delay - wifi on board not working properly either, even though it says connected - And now the captain just informed us (2 hours before landing in LHR) that some fucked up shit is happening at the Heathrow airport. The entire airport has been closed for 2 hours now due to some power issue and they’re saying we cannot land in heathrow. No flights landing or taking off at heathrow in the near future today - all other airports around LHR are full/busy so they are taking us to Munich instead. This is absolutely ridiculous. And then the captain told us that we dont have a designated gate in Munich once we land coz of the size of the aircraft. Its the absolute biggest British Airways 2 floors. Might have to be on the tarmac for a while 🤣 🤦🏽♂️ this is insane. Landed in Munich at 7AM but no gates, and no idea if we will get one anytime soon the captain says. New update that LHR is shut all day until 11:59 pm as of now. We are stuck on the plane with no food or drinks - this is bizarre - 8:15 am Munich Captains update - “as of now, we have no idea how long we will be inside the aircraft for. Alot of other flights have been diverted to Munich and the airport is totally full. There is no way we can have more people inside. The cabin crew alongwith myself are also gonna be off hours shortly” like wtfff - they cannot do anything, Still on the plane - been 3 hrs 15 mins now. Its 11:10 am and still stuck inside the plane. Disembarked at 11:25 am Summary - Please make sure you send extra money because i incurred Foreign Transaction Fees of 2.5% for each transaction made in Euros. Also, my bank charges $17.50 for any Wire Transfers so make sure you send extra money to cover this amount There was no British Airways personnel when we landed in Munich to guide us through which was absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. We had to figure our own way out in a new random country where we were not supposed to be. Our bags were not even given to us and we had to wait on the tarmac for 4.5 hours which was absolutely torturous. You should compensate us for that as well. My checking was missing/damage/items mising
I arrived at the airport with two checked-in bags, but one was missing. I spent two hours at the airport trying to locate my second bag, but received no assistance. Eventually, I went to the lost property office, where I waited for another hour before being told they would get back to me the next day. This caused a lot of inconvenience as I was attending a funeral. The next day, after several calls, I received an email stating that my bag was at the airport and I needed to come and collect it. After all the inconvenience, I went to the airport to retrieve my bag, only to find it was severely damaged and tampered with, with several items missing. There was no one available to help or advise me on the whereabouts of my belongings or what had happened to the contents of my bag. I felt completely lost and frustrated, as no one at British Airways was willing to assist with my loss.- Economy
