I received my luggage on Monday Sept 14. It was delovered to the hotel in Flagstaff where I stayed Sept 13-16. I had already taken off form my work meetings early Monday morning, so my things in teh suitcase could not be used by me until in the evening of Monday Sept 14. Further, the suitcase zipper was party open and broken. Nothing seemed to be lost, but the suitcase was no longer reliable so I had to purchase a new one.- Stockholm-Phoenix

On the 08/09/26 I landed at London Heathrow Airport, after being interviewed by immigration I missed my BA 1362 flight which was a connecting flight to Manchester Airport at 10:25 am. After being cleared by immigration I was given a flight out which was BA 137O and departs at 18: 15 pm which was cancelled because of the issues going on in the towers at Heathrow Airport at that time.I was then given a flight out for the 10/09/26 which was BA1358 and departs at 06:55 am.I was not given any Hotel accommodations and having no baggage or information since no one was telling you anything I was stressed and uncomfortable.I was then offered a Β£10 voucher to purchase food which was impossible. I then asked my partner to picked me up because I could not sleep at the Airport for two days and that trip cost me Β£155.50 .I was without luggage for four days receiving my first case on the 12/09/26 and the second one on the 13/09/26,which was badly damage. I have evidence of before and after case if you so required and also receipt of cost which is $140.00BBD. I'm would like to be compensated for part payment of my Airline ticket from London to Manchester thanks.- Bridgetown-London

My checked baggage was delayed following my British Airways flight and was not delivered to me until 18 September 2026. I arrived on 16 September 2026 and was therefore without access to my baggage for approximately two days. As food and other necessary items were contained in my delayed baggage, I had to purchase food so that I could prepare meals while waiting for my luggage to be delivered. I incurred the following reasonable expenses: - Aldi β Β£16.99 β food items purchased for cooking - Lidl β Β£28.76 β food items purchased for cooking Total claimed: Β£45.75 I have retained and attached the receipts for these purchases as evidence. I am requesting reimbursement of the Β£45.75 incurred as a result of my delayed baggage. My baggage was eventually delivered on 18 September 2026.- London-Newcastle

Technical problems
My original journey was Istanbul (IST) β London Heathrow (LHR) β Phoenix (PHX) under a single booking, reference YCSHLC. London was only a connecting point and had no independent purpose in my travel plans. BA289 from London to Phoenix was cancelled after a technical problem, so the IstanbulβLondon sector I had already flown no longer served any purpose in relation to my original journey to Phoenix. My passport clearly shows that I entered the United Kingdom through Heathrow on 14 July 2025 and that my permission to remain in the UK was valid only until 15 July 2025. Therefore, the rerouting offered by British Airways for 16 July 2025 was not a usable option for me. I did not use the alternative flight offered by British Airways. My passport also shows that I entered the United States through Los Angeles (LAX) on 16 July 2025, which confirms that I did not take the HeathrowβSan FranciscoβPhoenix alternative flights that may later appear in the booking record as βflown/travelled.β I also did not use the original return sectors of my ticket. I am therefore requesting a refund of my original British Airways ticket, including the flown IstanbulβLondon sector, because London was only a connection point and that sector lost its purpose after the onward flight was cancelled; the cancelled/unused LondonβPhoenix sector; and the unused return sectors. I am not requesting reimbursement for any replacement flights I later purchased. I am also claiming the statutory UK261 cancellation compensation separately from the ticket refund.- Δ°stanbul-Phoenix

Dear AirAdvisor Claims Team, I am writing regarding claim No. 775350, which was closed on the basis that the total value of my documented expenses was less than $200. I would like to clarify that the total amount of my claim is actually Β£240, as shown by the two separate invoices I provided: - Β£150 for the shoes - Β£89 for the T-shirt and shirt This brings the total to Β£240, which is clearly above your stated minimum requirement of $200. Moreover, these amounts were paid in British pounds (GBP), not US dollars, so the total value is even higher when converted into USD. Therefore, I do not understand how my claim was determined to be below the required threshold. I kindly ask you to review the documents and amounts again and reopen my claim accordingly. If the documents were not received or were not properly considered, please let me know so I can upload them again. I look forward to your clarification and to having my claim reopened. Best regards, Abdulaziz AlenizeyΒ- Doha-Belfast

I am writing to formally complain about the extremely stressful experience my sisters and I had today travelling from Edmonton to Toronto and onward to Istanbul. While we were already on our flight from Edmonton to Toronto, British Airways emailed us that our TorontoβIstanbul flight had been cancelled, leaving us with virtually no time to make alternative arrangements. We had already checked our luggage in at Edmonton under the assumption that it would be transferred through to Istanbul, as we had paid for a smooth connecting itinerary and were not expecting to complete a self-transfer. We were then emailed that we had been rebooked onto a LOT flight, so my sisters and I rushed from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3, only to be told by LOT employees that we did not have a booking with them and needed to return to British Airways. We rushed back again, where British Airways staff confirmed the cancellation and rebooked us onto Turkish Airlines. We then spent a significant amount of time trying to locate our luggage, only to be sent between Porter and Air Transat with no clear explanation of where our bags were or who was responsible for them. This is extremely concerning because our luggage contains valuable personal belongings, our medical school textbooks and essential materials, as well as our apartment keys for Northern Cyprus. We also have a separate ticket from Istanbul to Ercan, and because we have no idea when or whether our luggage will arrive, we may now have to find and pay for accommodation ourselves. On top of this, we had specifically paid to sit together, yet after being rebooked we were given uncomfortable seats and did not receive the seating arrangement we had paid for. What should have been a straightforward journey has turned into an extremely stressful situation involving a cancelled flight, contradictory information, rushing between terminals, missing luggage, disrupted onward travel and potentially significant unexpected expenses. I understand that flight cancellations can happen, but the lack of clear communication and assistance throughout this process has been unacceptable. I am requesting an urgent explanation regarding the cancellation and incorrect LOT rebooking, an immediate update on the location of our baggage, reimbursement for reasonable expenses caused by this disruption, a resolution regarding the seats we paid for, and clarification on what assistance British Airways will provide regarding our onward travel to Ercan. I expect this matter to be reviewed seriously, as we have been left to deal with significant consequences despite having paid for our journey and baggage to be handled as part of a smooth connection.- Edmonton-Δ°stanbul

We were originally booked on a British Airways flight from Toronto to Istanbul\. While we were already travelling on our connecting flight from Edmonton to Toronto, we received emails informing us that our TorontoβIstanbul flight had been cancelled\. Because we were already in transit, we had virtually no opportunity to make alternative arrangements ourselves\. We had checked our luggage in at Edmonton under the assumption that our bags would be transferred through to Istanbul as part of our itinerary\. We had specifically paid for a smooth connection and were not expecting to have to collect our luggage or perform a self\-transfer\. We were then informed by British Airways that we had been rebooked onto a LOT flight\. Based on the information provided to us, my sisters and I rushed from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3 to catch the rebooked flight\. After rushing between terminals, we were told by LOT employees that we did not actually have a valid booking with them and that we needed to return to British Airways\. We therefore rushed back again to speak with British Airways staff, only to be told that the flight had been cancelled and that we could be rebooked\. We were eventually rebooked onto a Turkish Airlines flight at 8:00 PM for the 10:00 PM flight\. At this point, we also tried to determine what had happened to our checked baggage since our rebooked flight was on such a short notice\. We had paid for our baggage and for a connecting itinerary where our luggage would be transferred through\. Instead, we were told that our luggage could not be located\. We were sent from Porter to Air Transat for assistance and then sent back to Porter, with no clear explanation of where our bags were or who was responsible for them\. This is extremely concerning because our luggage contains valuable personal belongings, as well as items that are essential for our education\. We are medical students studying in Northern Cyprus, and our luggage contains our textbooks and other school materials that we need for our studies\. It also contains our apartment keys\. We also have a separate ticket booked from Istanbul to Ercan for our onward journey to Northern Cyprus\. Because of the cancellation and the uncertainty surrounding our luggage, we may now be forced to arrange and pay for accommodation ourselves, despite having planned and paid for our journey based on the original itinerary. Additionally, we paid specifically to be seated together. Despite this, following the rebooking, we were assigned uncomfortable seats and were separated from the seating arrangement we had originally paid for. What should have been a straightforward journey from Edmonton to Istanbul has instead turned into an extremely stressful experience involving cancelled flights, contradictory information, rushing between terminals, uncertainty regarding our luggage, disruption to our onward travel, and potentially significant unexpected expenses. We understand that flight disruptions can happen. However, the way this disruption was handled left us without clear information or assistance, and we have been left to deal with the consequences of arrangements that were not within our control. We paid for a connecting itinerary with the expectation that our journey and baggage would be handled accordingly\. Instead, we have been left without our luggage, potentially without accommodation, and with essential belongings and school materials missing while travelling to university\.- Edmonton-Δ°stanbul

I have contacted the airline via their online chat, unfortunately this was not logged but was advised. I cannot claim any refund.. due to my condition, Parkinsonβs, the delay caused me much discomfort and unnecessary stress. When arriving at San Francisco, we missed our connecting travel arrangement and less stranded whilst trying to look for an Uber.. this inevitably lengthened the disruption arriving at the hotel over 10 hours late- Las Vegas-San Francisco

Dear Aer Lingus Customer Support, I am writing to submit a formal claim regarding the delayed delivery of my checked baggage on my journey from Doha to Belfast on 12 September. My journey was booked on a single ticket from Doha to Belfast, with connecting flights via London and Manchester. The flights were operated by British Airways and Aer Lingus. At Doha Airport, I was specifically advised by the airline staff that my checked baggage would be tagged through to my final destination, Belfast, and that I would collect it there. However, upon arriving in Belfast at approximately 9:00 PM on 12 September, my baggage did not arrive. I immediately reported the missing baggage at the airport and received the following Property Irregularity Report (PIR) reference: BHDEI12966 I eventually received my baggage at approximately midday on 14 September, meaning that my baggage was unavailable to me for approximately 39 hours after my arrival in Belfast. As a result of this delay, I was without my personal belongings and had to incur necessary expenses for essential items during the period in which my baggage was unavailable. Unfortunately, I was only able to retain two receipts as supporting documentation, totaling Β£240.10. The actual amount I spent was higher than this, but these are the only receipts I currently have available to provide as evidence of my expenses. I therefore request reimbursement for the reasonable and necessary expenses incurred as a result of the delayed baggage, in accordance with the Montreal Convention and Aer Lingus' baggage claims policy. I have attached the relevant receipts and supporting documents for my expenses, together with my baggage/PIR details. I would appreciate it if you could confirm receipt of this claim and advise me of the outcome and the amount you will reimburse. Passenger name: Abdulaziz S Alenizey Booking reference: X276QW PIR: BHDEI12966 Travel date: 12 September Route: Doha β London β Manchester β Belfast LHR : BA122 MAN: BA1370 BHD: EI3619 Baggage: 1 checked suitcase Baggage received: 14 Sep at approximately midday I look forward to your response. We had checked in online, and it said we have to drop our bags 2hours before departure, we got to the airport at about 5:50 pm for a 10pm flight, joined a long queue and when it was 7pm, the ground staff just walked away without saying anything to us. It was about 35 passengers left behind. We called BA straight away and no one was ready to help so we did a group petition and BA said we should do it individually. I still have the email for the group petition if that will help. Some people paid for other flight to come to the UK. But we couldn't because the charges were too much. We stays in a hotel for 3 days before we were put on a flight back. I just want what is due us. I can only show the receipt for accommodation but we spent money on taxi and food. Also I missed work. Thanks.- Accra-London

I am desperate for help please. I have been so diligent. I stayed at airport for 3 hours in line evening of arrival filled out all forms never received the Ref # via text or email as they said they would. I called everyday. Finally got Tanya who was incredible 3 days later and she gave me the number. I finally spoke to someone following day and told them I was sending someone to pick it up in Pisa yesterday (9/8/26) in the morning. . I had all paperwork filled out documented etc and they told the man that I never filled out the airport paperwork - which clearly as you can see I did. So he went back to airport that afternoon (yesterday 9/8/26) and was told my bag had gone to currier !!! I leave early tomorrow for Florence and still no bag. I am clearly close to tears. I have tried to do my very best but I have not only spent part of my trip dealing with this but I also donβt have my items. I am also trying. To pack for Florence - from Forte Dei Marmi and I donβt know if I should go buy a new suitcase or what. Itβs such a mess and no one seems to really care. Thank you for your time and help. The flight from SΓ£o Paulo to Dublin was booked as a single reservation with a connection in London. The BA0826 flight from London to Dublin, scheduled for 7 August at 08:15, was cancelled on the day of travel. British Airways later stated in an email that compensation would not be paid because the cancellation was due to air traffic control. However, we have the live chat from the day of the disruption in which British Airways stated that the cancellation was due to βoperational reasonsβ. I specifically asked for confirmation of this reason twice, and the same information was confirmed. We would therefore ask for the cancellation reason to be properly reviewed and for the passengersβ eligibility for compensation to be assessed.- Sao Paulo-Dublin

The BA0826 flight from London to Dublin, scheduled for 7 August at 08:15, was cancelled on the day of travel. British Airways initially rebooked us for the following day, which we did not accept. I had a whole trip booked with British airways from Mumbai to Belfast. The first flight had landed a bit late 3:10pm and we had a shorter layover time . However I had made it to the gate by 3:54 pm and the gate closes at 3:55 . Since the whole trip was booked with them , it was their responsibility to escort us quickly for the connecting flight or maybe delay the connecting flight for some minutes . But no I was given an alternative flight . Which was okay by me . But the worst part was my luggageβs were missing when I got to Belfast city airport . And I was completely dependent on it since it had all my clothes and basic essentials . Worst part all the shops were closed so I had to wait until next day to get food and other essentials . I was told next day that my luggage has been found but itβs been more than 7+ hours since I recieved that report and my bag hasnβt arrived yet .- Mumbai-Belfast

Subject: URGENT β Evidence preservation request β BA329 4 September 2026 I was travelling with my two children on British Airways flight BA329 from Nice to London Heathrow, scheduled to depart at 12:50 on 4 September 2026. We arrived at Terminal 1 in sufficient time to check in. The main airport flight information display directed passengers for BA329 to check-in desks D31/D32. We therefore waited at D31/D32. We subsequently discovered that BA329 was actually being checked in at desks D35βD38. By the time we discovered the discrepancy we were unable to check in and missed the flight. I urgently request that Nice CΓ΄te dβAzur Airport preserve and provide confirmation of the Flight Information Display System records for BA329, including the check-in desk numbers displayed between approximately 10:30and 12:00, together with confirmation of the desks actually allocated to BA329. I also request that CCTV covering desks D31/D32 during this period be preserved, as it may demonstrate that my family and I were present there prior to the BA check-in deadline. This evidence is required in connection with a claim for the cost of replacement travel. Regards, Ron Barden- Nice-London

Booked flights with BA - SYD to EDI travelling on QA operated flights on 03/03/26. Due to situation in middle east these flights were cancelled. We went to SYD airport to discuss with a BA or Qatar Airways rep but BA do not have a presence there and the QA office was locked. The phone number just rang out with no reply. The information rep at SYD advised that no flights would be leaving for Doha or the middle east for the foreseeable future. We were unable to get through to either of the two airlines. Qatar Airways posted on X that passengers travelling between 28 Feb and 6 March would be eligible for a full refund (Screenshot Attached) so faced with no means of getting home to the UK and my personal medication beginning to run low, we booked flights from SYD to LAX then on to London Heathrow. Onward travel to Dundee from London was by train. (Receipts Attached) I have exchanged dozens of emails with both BA and QA with neither willing to accept responsibility. Each blames the other. I received Β£143.80 from BA plus 10k Avios points (which I would have received for the flights anyway had they gone ahead) as a refund. QA have completely refused to entertain any claim for refunds or compensation for additional expense.- Sydney-Edinburgh
