Formal Complaint – Two Missing Bags Outstanding Over 1 Month
Dear Saudia Customer Relations Team, I am writing to formally raise a serious complaint regarding my missing baggage, which remains unresolved. My flight was on 21 February, and it has now been over one month, yet two of my luggage bags are still missing. This delay is completely unacceptable and has caused significant inconvenience and stress to me and my family. I have already submitted multiple forms and follow-ups regarding this matter, but I have not received any meaningful response or update from Saudia. The lack of communication and action is extremely disappointing. The baggage claim details are as follows: Saudia Reference Number: BHXKL19600 KLM Reference Number: BHXKL16065 Flight PNR: XPT840 Bag Tag Numbers: 367195 and 367240 Due to the failure to deliver my baggage within a reasonable timeframe, I have been forced to spend additional time and money on essential items, which should not have been necessary. I now request urgent action to: Provide a clear update on the current location and status of my baggage Arrange immediate delivery of the bags Confirm compensation for the delay and inconvenience caused If I do not receive a prompt and satisfactory response, I will escalate this matter to the relevant aviation authorities and pursue the claim through formal channels. I expect this matter to be treated with urgency. In addition, I have submitted compensation claims related to the flight delay under the following reference numbers: 286298, 286299, 286300 and 286301 Kind regards,Overall

Other - Dear Saudia Customer Relations Team, I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the extremely poor experience my family and I have had with Saudia during our recent journey. Our flight was delayed for more than 48 hours, which caused significant disruption, inconvenience, and distress to my family. During this time we were only provided with a £151 voucher, which is clearly insufficient considering the length of the delay and the hardship we experienced. Furthermore, two of our luggage bags are still missing. I have already submitted several forms on your website regarding the delayed baggage but have not received any response or update. The baggage claim details are as follows: Saudia Reference Number: BHXKL19600 KLM Reference Number: BHXKL16065 Flight PNR: XPT840 Bag Tag Numbers: 367195 and 367240 In addition, I have submitted compensation claims related to the flight delay under the following reference numbers: 286298, 286299, 286300 and 286301. Despite submitting these claims, I have not received any response or progress update. I am continuing to spend a considerable amount of time following up on these matters, which has added further stress and inconvenience for my family. Under UK/EU Regulation 261/2004, passengers are entitled to compensation for significant flight delays. I therefore request that Saudia review this matter urgently and arrange the appropriate compensation for all affected passengers, in addition to resolving the issue of our missing baggage without further delay. If I do not receive a satisfactory response within a reasonable timeframe, I will have no alternative but to escalate this matter to the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and pursue the claim through the appropriate regulatory and legal channels. I expect a prompt response and resolution to this matter. Kind regards

Influence by other flights
There was no weather conditions justifying the delay in Madrid. Moreover when arriving at Jeddah the crew assured that Saudia knows of our delay and we will make it to the flight to Guangzhou. However despite running to catch the next flight the boarding already closed and nobody from Madrid made it. After 2h thinking what to do with us they took us to the airport hotel without rebooking us yet. I had maybe an hour in the room and when I was about to fall asleep someone knocked on my door tell me I have to hurry since they just rebooked me on a Saudia flight SV566 to Dubai with very short transfer time to catch an Emirates flight to Guangzhou. There was no one to guide me to the other terminal and I had to run like stupid through Dubai airport but made it to the flight EK362 arriving in Guangzhou on Feb 6th at 9:45PM but without my suitcase. I had to fill out a form at CAN airport and my suitcase was delivered 2 days later to my hotel in Guangzhou.- Madrid-Guangzhou

No hotel was provided by the airline. My ticket was rescheduled to 29th December without asking for it. I had to take attend some family emergency so I had to take an expensive travel ticket option. No help were provided at the Saudia airport desk in the terminal. I could only travel the next day evening and reached my destination the very next day (21 Dec 2025). No information was given, they were sending SMS every hour saying the filight will ready to depart in an hour. No information was given there were no staff or the airport help desk had no information. It was horrible. There was no option but to collect the luggage and to the Saudia desk in the airport terminal. No help or assistance was given after a lot of struggle got to the desk but to find non-cooperative and rude staff at the desk. I booked a new ticket with Qatar airways, and I reached home after 2:30AM in the morning I have cancelled/contacted the airline and got the original ticket refund. I have also contacted them for the compensation by sending multiple complaints and request for compensation. The only way to contact them is through the website complaints and suggestions, I have submitted multiple complaints through the given web page. According to the rules they should send me a case reference number but no matter how many times I do, they do not send any of it and no response from their part. I have uploaded a conversation when I asked for refund and compensation together. They directed me to the "suggestions and complaints" page for compensation requests. I have tried it many times but no response. I have contacted the GACA but they cannot do anything unless until there is a case reference number of the submitted complaint asking for compensation.- Riyadh-Kochi

Formal Complaint Against Saudia Airlines Staff – Denial of Zamzam Water
I am submitting this formal complaint regarding the unacceptable treatment I received on my recent domestic flight from Jeddah to Riyadh, connecting onward internationally with Cathay Pacific to Hong Kong. At Jeddah Airport, I was denied my rightful allowance of Zamzam water by Saudia Airline staff. Despite explaining that I had an international connecting flight, the manager at the counter, Mr. Zyad, refused to permit me to carry Zamzam water. His refusal was unjustified and delivered in a rude, dismissive manner. He showed no knowledge of passenger rights and no willingness to assist, which caused me significant distress and inconvenience. I must emphasize that carrying Zamzam water is my right as a passenger, and denying this right is unacceptable. The behavior of Mr. Zyad was unprofessional, disrespectful, and contrary to the standards expected of Saudia Airlines staff when dealing with international passengers. I request strict disciplinary action against Mr. Zyad and a formal apology from Saudia Airlines. I also urge the airline to ensure that such incidents do not recur, and that staff are properly trained to respect and assist passengers, especially in matters of religious and cultural importance such as Zamzam water. I expect a prompt response and clear communication on the corrective measures taken. Sincerely, Khan Tarique Ahmed Shafique Ahmed +852-96027257 BOOKING REFERENCE : B4QW7G (Jeddah to Riyadh) Date: 29th Dec 2025Overall

Horrible experience, still waiting for some hope of resolution
Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Lack of Communication and Passenger Abandonment Dear Customer Relations Team, I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the handling of my recent travel experience with your airline. On 15 Dec, 2025, I was scheduled to travel on flight SA 756 from Jeddah to New Delhi, along with my family. It was initially delayed and rescheduled to fly at 12 Noon 15 Dec, 2025. We came on time and got boarding pass and security check was done. To our surprise without any prior notice, clear explanation, or timely communication from your staff, several passengers—including myself and my family—were left behind. At no point, and no-one provided with adequate information regarding the situation, alternative arrangements, or expected next steps. The absence of communication caused significant confusion, stress, and inconvenience, particularly as we were traveling as a family. It is unacceptable for passengers to be left without guidance, assistance, or updates, especially in situations involving delays, cancellations, or boarding issues. We are still waiting at the airport and have no clue what to do?? I expect airlines to uphold basic standards of customer care, including transparency and timely communication. Unfortunately, this experience fell far below those expectations. I respectfully request: • A clear explanation of what occurred • Details of why passengers were not informed in advance • Information on any compensation, refund, or reimbursement to which we may be entitled Please let me know how this matter will be addressed. I look forward to your prompt response and a resolution that reflects accountability and respect for your passengers. Yours sincerely, Javed Khan [Booking reference- 8H47AU / ticket number- 065 2186393205] Email…kkhanimran2005@yahoo.com There are 6 more family members who are stranded with me. The initial flight was scheduled to depart on 6 April 2025 at 16:55. All my bags were checked in well before departure, and just minutes before boarding I was informed that the flight would be delayed. No clear explanation, updates, or estimated departure time were provided during the waiting period, so I had to remain inside the airport without proper communication from the airline. During this time, I had to purchase essential toiletries and a meal at my own expense. Because of the delay, I arrived in Jeddah only on 7 April 2025, a full day later than planned. This caused significant inconvenience, including the cancellation of all my bookings in Jeddah, which I had to rebook personally at additional cost. I also lost money on non-refundable reservations and incurred extra transport and personal expenses. The lack of information, the long wait at the airport, and the financial losses made the situation very stressful and disruptive.- Mahebourg-Jeddah

business class seat non-functional. food quality bad
We were travelling in a group of 8 adults and 2 children. During the trip of Dubai to Jeddah, my seat was not functioning at all and even though we notified the cabin crew at the start of the flight, they tried to reset the seat but it still remained the same. it was very uncomfortable to travel like this given that we have paid to be able to enjoy the comfort of a business class seat. Also during the same flight, one of the cabin crew members spilt date smoothie one of our group members and although they attempted to clean, a pair of shoes and trousers were ruined by this event.Overall
Seat did not function at all and it was a business class seat. date smoothie spilt onto one of our family members ruining her pair of pants and shoes as well.

Formal Complaint Regarding Harassment, Aggressive Behavior, and Physical Intimidation by Cabin Crew on Flight SV758 (JED to DEL, October 27, 2025)
Mohammad Alam 2601 S Felker Ave Marshfield WI 54449 USA Email:labbaik.saad@gmail.com Phone: +1-248-838-9538 WhatsApp: +1-630-297-6991 AlFursan : 41340585 Date: October 31, 2025 To: Customer Relations Department Saudi Arabian Airlines Prince Saud Al Faisal St., P.O. Box 620 Saudia City, Jeddah, 21231 Kingdom of Saudi Arabia CC: • General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), Saudi Arabia • U.S. Department of Transportation, Aviation Consumer Protection Division Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Harassment, Aggressive Behavior, and Physical Intimidation by Cabin Crew on Flight SV758 (JED to DEL, October 27, 2025) ________________________________________ 1. Introduction I am writing to formally complain about a serious incident involving the aggressive and harassing behavior of a cabin crew member, Mr. Yusuf, during Saudi Arabian Airlines Flight SV758 from Jeddah (JED) to Delhi (DEL) on October 27, 2025. This behavior was witnessed by other crew members and caused significant emotional distress to me, my wife, and our four children. I am a U.S. citizen traveling with my family. The conduct of Mr. Yusuf constitutes not only a violation of basic professional standards expected of airline staff but also a breach of passenger rights and the duty of care owed by Saudi Arabian Airlines. The purpose of this complaint is to request immediate investigation, disciplinary action, compensation for damages, and assurances that such behavior will not recur. ________________________________________ 2. Flight Details and Context • Airline: Saudi Arabian Airlines • Flight Number: SV758 • Date: October 27, 2025 • Route: Jeddah (JED) to Delhi (DEL) • Seat Number: 57D • Crew Member Involved: Mr. Yusuf, cabin crew, male • Supervising Crew Member: Ms. Ketan, cabin supervisor • Family Members Present: Wife and four children, including a 6and 3 -year-old sons At the time of the incident, I was feeling severely nauseated and unwell. I had been waiting in line near the lavatory with my family when the confrontation began. ________________________________________ 3. Chronology of the Incident 3.1 Initial Aggressive Confrontation While standing in the queue for the lavatory, Mr. Yusuf, who was finishing his routine service and had no trolleys nearby, yelled at me to “go back to your seat and pray Namaz later when serving is done.” This outburst was aggressive, unnecessary, and entirely disproportionate, particularly given that I was unwell and merely waiting my turn. Fearing I might vomit, I complied and returned to my seat. 3.2 Second Confrontation and Harassment Approximately one hour later, as I was coming out of the lavatory with my 6-year-old son, I politely requested Mr. Yusuf to find a time to speak with me. He responded dismissively: “I am very busy.” When I asked him to come to my seat after completing his duties, he refused and continued his hostile demeanor. I told him I am Al-Fursan Member for last 10 years. He said “I don’t care if you are Al-Fursan Member or not” I expressed that his behavior was impolite and unbecoming of Saudi Arabian Airlines staff. At this point, cabin supervisor Ms. Ketan was present. I requested her assistance and asked to speak to the captain to formally complain about Mr. Yusuf. 3.3 Escalation and Physical Intimidation Following this, Mr. Yusuf became increasingly hostile. He audibly taunted me, stating I could “go complain about me, I don’t care.” He then recited his ID number while physically tapping his finger on my shoulder for each digit, an act I consider physical harassment. He further kicked the prayer carpet laid by the airline three times and shouted that I should return to my seat or he would call security. These actions were physically intimidating and emotionally traumatizing for both myself and my 6-year-old son, who became frightened. 3.4 Involvement of Cabin Supervisor After the incident, Ms. Ketan returned with another crew member and apologized on behalf of Mr. Yusuf. She reportedly spoke to him and attempted to have him apologize, which I requested. Despite this, no further resolution or compensation was offered during the remainder of the flight. I was left feeling neglected and unprotected. ________________________________________ 4. Violations of Passenger Rights and Duty of Care The behavior exhibited by Mr. Yusuf constitutes multiple violations: 1. Harassment and Aggressive Behavior: Yelling, threats, and physically tapping on a passenger’s shoulder constitute harassment and intimidation. 2. Negligence of Duty of Care: Airlines are legally obligated to ensure passenger safety and dignity. Allowing aggressive, hostile, and physically intimidating behavior breaches this duty. 3. Discrimination or Targeting: While not explicitly discriminatory in basis, the aggressive behavior targeted a passenger seeking basic assistance while ill, violating the general principles of equal treatment and professional conduct. 4. Endangerment of Minors: My 6-year-old son witnessed aggressive behavior and physical intimidation, causing fear and emotional trauma. These actions violate internationally recognized aviation standards under the Chicago Convention (ICAO), as well as Saudi Arabian civil aviation regulations regarding passenger treatment and safety. They may also constitute a violation of U.S. Department of Transportation guidelines regarding passenger harassment and safety on international flights. ________________________________________ 5. Impact on Myself and Family The incident caused severe distress: • Emotional and psychological trauma: Continuous fear, humiliation, and anxiety for both myself and my children. • Physical impact: My pre-existing sickness worsened due to stress and lack of support. • Family distress: My wife and children were frightened, particularly my 6-year-old son, who witnessed physical intimidation. • Trust and confidence: The behavior undermined confidence in Saudi Arabian Airlines’ ability to provide safe and professional service. This impact is significant and lasting. It extends beyond the duration of the flight and affects both personal well-being and family security. ________________________________________ 6. Attempts at Resolution During Flight • Requested assistance from cabin supervisor Ms. Ketan. • Asked to speak to the captain. • Requested Mr. Yusuf apologize and be disciplined. • Despite these efforts, no adequate resolution was provided during the flight. ________________________________________ 7. Legal and Regulatory Considerations Under aviation law and international passenger rights frameworks: • ICAO Annex 6 & Annex 19: Airlines are required to maintain passenger safety and professional conduct of staff. • GACA Regulations (Saudi Arabia): Duty of care obligates airline staff to treat passengers respectfully and manage conflicts professionally. • U.S. DOT Guidelines: Airlines serving U.S. citizens or departing/arriving in the U.S. must maintain passenger safety and dignity, including protection from harassment or intimidation. • Consumer Protection: Emotional distress caused by harassment and physical intimidation constitutes grounds for compensation and disciplinary action under civil liability principles. ________________________________________ 8. Requested Remedies Based on the severity of the incident and its impact, I formally request Saudi Arabian Airlines to: 1. Issue a formal written apology from Mr. Yusuf and the airline. 2. Investigate the incident fully and take appropriate disciplinary action against Mr. Yusuf. 3. Provide compensation for emotional distress, inconvenience, and harm to my family during the flight. 4. Ensure procedural reforms to prevent recurrence of such incidents, including staff training on handling passengers respectfully, particularly those who are unwell or traveling with minors. 5. Confirm in writing the steps taken and the outcomes of the investigation. Failure to address these issues satisfactorily will leave me with no option but to escalate this complaint legally to: • GACA (Saudi Arabia) • U.S. Department of Transportation • U.S. courts for claims of harassment, emotional distress, and potential damages ________________________________________ 9. Supporting Evidence I am prepared to provide evidence supporting this complaint: • Photographic and/or video recordings of the incident. • Witness statements from other passengers and crew members present. • Boarding passes and travel documents verifying the flight. • Notes documenting the incident immediately after it occurred. This evidence can corroborate my claims and demonstrate the unprofessional and harassing behavior of Mr. Yusuf. 10. Conclusion The conduct of Mr. Yusuf during Flight SV758 was unacceptable, unprofessional, and violated both Saudi Arabian Airlines’ policies and international aviation regulations. It caused significant emotional and physical distress to me and my family. Immediate action is warranted to address this misconduct and provide appropriate remedies. I expect a formal written acknowledgment of this complaint, a detailed report on the steps taken, and resolution in the form of apology, compensation, and disciplinary action. If Saudi Arabian Airlines fails to respond adequately, I will pursue escalation to the General Authority of Civil Aviation in Saudi Arabia, the U.S. Department of Transportation, and retain legal counsel in the United States to seek full redress. I trust Saudi Arabian Airlines will treat this matter with the seriousness it deserves and take immediate action to uphold the safety, dignity, and rights of its passengers. After my flight from Jakarta to Jeddah, I had a flight from Jeddah to Trabzon with Flynas. Because my Jakarta flight was delayed, I missed my Flynas flight. My Saudia flight was rescheduled for the next day free of charge, but I paid 621 SAR to purchase a ticket again the next day with Flynas. I request a refund.- Jakarta-Jeddah

Terrible saudi staff attitude /Service
Overview: travel from lhr to jeddah via riyad. Delayed by immigration and boarding gate where person on counter was far too interested in texting and talking on the mobile rather than process the final people(myself and family) . This delay of over 30 mins led to the boarding gates closure and we missed flight. Bearing in mind there was helpful staff who even advised this person on the counter that these are the very last people so hurry up as boarding gates have been advised theyre on the way, but that made no difference to his attitude. I had to buy 5 new tickets from ruad to jeddah at cost of £900Overall
Extremely poor attitude and service by 1 staff

Technical problems
Booking Reference PNR: 7VY3NI Flight Details: Manchester (MAN) – Jeddah (JED), Date: 20th September 2025 Jeddah (JED) – Karachi (KHI), Date: 21st September 2025 My Name is Faizan E Muhammad Shah, my recent disrupted journey with Saudia Airlines. 1. Severe Delay (Manchester–Karachi Journey) My original flight from Manchester to Karachi via Jeddah was delayed by approximately 19 hours due to a tyre repair/technical issue on your aircraft. As a result, I missed my original connection in Jeddah and had to be re-routed on a later flight, arriving in Karachi with a significant delay of more than 4 hours. since my journey departed from Manchester (UK), I am legally entitled to compensation for this long delay, as the reason provided (technical/tyre issue) does not fall under “extraordinary circumstances” but rather under the airline’s responsibility. 2. Business Class Upgrade via Bidding – Service Not Provided Additionally, I had successfully secured an upgrade from Jeddah to Karachi through your Upgrade Bidding system, and the payment was deducted from my account £105. However, due to the flight change, I was placed in Economy Class instead of Business Class, despite the payment already being taken. This constitutes non-provision of a paid service. I therefore request: A full refund of the upgrade amount charged to me. An additional gesture of goodwill (voucher, or partial compensation) for the inconvenience caused by this service failure. Consideration of additional goodwill compensation for the overall inconvenience and stress caused- Manchester-Karachi

Putting unnecessary obstacles
I work in Jeddah as a doctor. I am the husband of a Saudi citizen. I went to England for business. I travelled all the way from northern England to Heathrow. At the chek in I was asked to produce evidence of my residency. I told them I can't access Absher as it is connected to my phone which I temporarily stopped. Any how I called my wife who send me the re entry visa. This was enough for the English Saudi manager at the Saudia check in. He asked to see my igama, I showed him a copy of it. No he wants to see the card, why? I don't know. When I travel I leave the card at home and take the passport which with its no has all the information. This guy is not implementing strict rules. He is just putting unnecessary obstacles. He took my being not able to travel very lightly. This is the first time I face such situation. Only when I said I will raise the issue to higher authorities he allowed me to board. I have my passport and re-entry visa and this should be enough, by Saudi Immigration rules. I checked with them this issue when I arrived at Jeddah Airport.- Economy

Other - I was delayed at the Heathrow Airport by the Saudia manager there because of my re entry visa. It was in my Absher but couldn't accsses it as it was connected to my Saudi line which I temporarily stopped. I told him I live there and work, I am a doctor, and won't travel without valid return visa. They may check with my igama no or passport no. Then I called my wife who accessed Absher and send me the re entry visa. Then he did not accept that. He said he wants to see my igama, why?, as the re entry visa has all the information. We usually leave the card in Saudi Arabia and take the passport as with its no the immigration authority access all my information. Any how I showed him a picture of my Igama but he still insisted to see the card itself. This is not strict immigrantion regulations. This is unnecessary obstacles put in front of me. When I left Jeddah to London they didn't ask me about my igama card. The passport was sufficient. Thatl guy was not cooperative. It took it very lightly that I may not boarding. I have travelled all the way from north of England to Heathrow. The atmosphere at the Saudia check in was really not friendly and understanding. When I said I will take the issue to her authorities he then allowed me to board.
