Successful claim

I went on business travel, with very important formal dinner and important meetings tomorrow. I am here without my belongings, no computer charger, no migraine medication. This incident has really damaged my travels. Had spend 3 hours right upon arrival at the hotel, to go shopping, no food, no rest. Been travelling since 4 am today. Payed extra for the baggage. One large (almost new), Wenger, hard shell suitcase. My luggage was last in my hand at the counter at Brnik Airport. I don't remember how much was checked in luggage, but had to pay extra. Overall the plane ticket was over 600 euros. Did not declare the value to the airline yet.

I would like to submit a formal complaint regarding flight LX2251 Airbus A220-100 on 19.05.2026, where the cabin crew failed to ensure basic safety, comfort, and fair treatment. Although I was initially given a small overhead bin for my backpack, the passenger in front of meβ€”who had already occupied the entire bin above my seatβ€”began throwing additional items on top of my bag. My backpack contained a brand new laptop, and I asked the crew to intervene, as this passenger was already using the space of four people. Instead of addressing the issue, the crew told me to place my bag under the seat. This would have been merely uncomfortable, but when the passenger in front fully reclined their seat, the meal tray slid into my lap and the drink spilled onto my clothes and my bag. After going to the restroom to clean myself, I was unable to sit back down because the reclined seat left no space. As a result, I had to stand for nearly two hours, partly by the emergency exit door, without assistance or follow up from the crew. When I asked for help, the crew responded by saying, β€œCan’t you see they have a baby?” even though the baby was quiet and well behaved. The problem was not the child, but the passengers’ behavior and the crew’s refusal to enforce basic rules. I explained that I had also paid for my ticket and was entitled to both a safe seat and a proper storage space. I was told that the passenger in front had the right to recline their seat, even though I physically could not remain seated safely. I am a 43 kg woman 78 years old; if I cannot stay in my seat due to someone else’s actions, that is not my fault. The crew failed to ensure safety, ignored my repeated requests for assistance, and left me standing for an extended period. I request a full investigation and appropriate compensation for the discomfort, the unsafe conditions, Sincerely, Julianna Heisler booking ref. ZRSH8C

Claim escalated to airline

We landed in Delhi and the same night we flew to Bali on vacation. We received our bags after 6 days in Bali. We had no clothes nothing for our Bali vacation. We had to buy everything from toiletries to swim suits. It was such a nightmare to be on vacation and not to be able to wear your own clothes. We were 3 members on 3 different PNR but same family. All our phtoshoots planned had to be cancelled. 2 flew business class and 1 was in premium economy. I asked for reimbursements and they're not replying to my emails. We had to go to the airport to pick up the bags from our resort. It was such a pain.

My friend who made the reservation for both of us was quickly refunded. I send all documents with the same rights of my friend, they put their number of case 2601-WK-04233, then they keep ignoring me after 6 different reminders. I talked to the customer service number, they ask me a procuration to give responsability to my friend who made the reservation and then I was again ignored. My friend did the document one more time and he was ignored too. Please ask or legal interests for the large delay. Here are the details of what's happened. I would like to submit a compensation claim for flight LX 8076 from Zanzibar (ZNZ) to Zurich (ZRH) on 20 January 2026, operated by Edelweiss Air. The scheduled departure time was 23:35 on 20 January 2026, whereas the actual departure took place at 07:20 on 21 January 2026. The scheduled arrival time in Zurich was 06:25, while the actual arrival occurred at 14:10, resulting in an arrival delay of more than 3 hours at the final destination. At 08:45 of day 21 of Janaury I missed the connection from Zurich to Milan, flight LX 1612 and at 14:05 my other connection with Ryanair flight FR2830 to Tenerife from Milano Bergamo to Tenerife, where I live. So I had to buy urgently another flight from Ryanair for the next day 22 of January, flight FR2830 at 06:30 and pass the night at my brother's house. In accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 261/2004, as Edelweiss is a Swiss carrier and this was a flight arriving in Switzerland, I hereby request the payment of the lump-sum compensation of 600 EUR per passenger, applicable to flights of more than 3,500 km in case of long delay on arrival. Due to the delay, I also had to incur additional expenses, namely: 1) 50% hotel in stone town: 64,50 euro (shared with my friend) 2) 50% dinner: 11 us dollar - 9,40 euro (shared with my friend) 3) 100% Ryanair flight: 131.49 euro Total extra costs: 205,39 euro. Total refund: 600 € + 205,39 € = 805,39 €

Technical problems

LX325 was diverted to Brussels due to an onboard emergency. We were deplaned on the runway without our luggage, taken to a hanger and then put on a bus to a nearby hotel. We then waited in line for a hotel room (paid for by the airline) but did not receive our luggage. The airline provided a replacement flight to Zurich the following morning but did not send my luggage on that flight. I filed a lost luggage claim and it eventually arrived the next day. Unfortunately they had also broken my suitcase and it is now unusable. The attached receipts are for the clothes and toiletries I needed to purchase for the conference events I needed to attend while my luggage was lost. Happy to provide further information and pictures as needed.

I was told its was still in zurich but after tracking, location is unknown. 1 suitcase missing even though during the bag collection there were only a few bags that were checked in so how can they miss mine. If there were many thats understandable but there were only a few so thats just laziness. Airline provided nothing in terms of aid thus far. Id rather not buy new toiletries only to have them not used when/if my bag comes back. I dont like wasting. Last seen in milan at check in counter. I believe I paid 70~€ for the check in luggage im not sure. The snacks and sweets which were meant as gifts to friends and family some have short expiry date, and I could not gift them. At dublin airport I had to go home in just a tight shirt as my jacket was inside, it was freezing.

Uninformed Return Ticket Cancellation Following Check-in Issue – Refund Request

Dear Swiss International Air Lines Customer Service, I am writing to request a review and refund regarding my recent booking (Outbound: XKTJWM, Inbound: 2Z5FTT; total cost: €1262.51). We had booked return tickets from Hamburg to Lisbon for three passengers (myself, my wife, and my 15-year-old son) for the Easter holidays via Flight Network, operated by SWISS. On the day of departure, we arrived at Hamburg Airport approximately 1.5 hours before departure. However, due to the fully automated check-in process and lack of clear guidance, we were unable to complete baggage check-in in time. We initially waited in incorrect queues, assuming there would be a staffed counter, which caused delays. By the time we reached the correct self-service baggage drop, it had already closed. Although we had obtained boarding passes (pls refer attachments), we were unable to proceed further and were marked as β€œno-show,” despite being present at the airport well before departure. As a result, we had to urgently book alternative one-way tickets to Lisbon (€896.40). Later, when attempting online check-in for our return, we discovered that our return tickets had been automatically cancelled due to the no-show. We were not informed of this cancellation by email, SMS, or any other means. Consequently, we had to purchase new return tickets (€814.90) at short notice. I would like to emphasize that this situation was not due to negligence, but due to confusion at the airport and lack of clear assistance, along with the absence of communication regarding the cancellation of our return journey. Given these circumstances, I kindly request: A review of our case considering we were present at the airport on time A refund of the unused tickets, including the cancelled return journey Consideration of compensation or goodwill reimbursement for the additional costs incurred We hope this case can be considered with understanding, given the circumstances. Thank you for your time and support. I look forward to your response. Kind regards, Yogesh Shelke +49 15751760646 Booking reference: XKTJWM / 2Z5FTT

Sinapore to Zurich - I believe we landed a few minutes late. I was sat towards the back of the plane - took quite some time to disembark and get to gate for Manchester flight. This needed a sky train, long walk and baggage scan. I missed the connecting flight by 1 or 2 mins despite running for it. On my outbound flight Swiss Air arranged for a speedy minibus transfer at Zurich so passengers would make the connecting flight but this wasn't offered on return flight. I was then rerouted via Frankfurt.

Our first flight, from Boston to Zurich, was slightly delayed for unknown reason. When we landed in Zurich, we were still on time for our flight to Tel Aviv - we were at the gate and the plane was still there - but we were told that due to the short delay in the first leg, we have been removed from the second leg. The earliest flight they Swiss Air were able to rebook us for was 24 hours later, which caused the group to miss an entire day of our planned group travel in Israel. I have reached out directly to Swiss Air for compensation pursuant of EU Regulation 261. Initially they claimed that Switzerland is not part of the EU, so the regulation does not apply to them. When I provided the legal language that includes Switzerland, they still rejected the claim, without naming a specific reason. Our correspondence is attached.

refuse to refund double charged baggage

I purchased my airline tickets with the flexibility option from Booking.com, including round-trip checked baggage and paid seat selection. While already on vacation, I decided to change my return date and contacted Swiss customer support. I was informed that I needed to pay $350 to modify the ticket. I already paid $124 for flexibility and now i have to pay another $350. Although the amount seemed excessive, I agreed. Before making the payment, I clearly asked Swiss representative at phone whether the services I had already paid for β€” specifically my seat and checked baggage β€” would be transferred to the new return flight. I was explicitly told that they would be transferred automatically. However, a few days after the change, when I checked my reservation, I noticed that although my new flight date and seat were updated, my checked baggage was missing. I called again and was told that the baggage had NOT been transferred. This directly contradicts what I had been told before completing the payment. At that point, I felt misled and trapped. Had I known this from the beginning, I might not have changed the ticket at all. I was then instructed to pay for the checked baggage a second time and later request a refund from Booking.com. With no real alternative, I reluctantly agreed. Now the lady gave me a baggage number and she mentioned for coupon 3 and 4(I don`t know what this means). Now, after attempting to obtain a refund from booking.com, my request has been refused, leaving me double-charged for the exact same baggage service to your company. Swiss refused also. This situation is unacceptable. I relied on the information provided to me by your representative, and I made financial decisions based on that assurance. I am therefore requesting a full refund for the duplicate baggage charge, as this resulted directly from incorrect guidance given to me.

I was notified the flight was cancelled with less than 48 hours notice. The rebooking process was long and tedious - I was on their live chat service for over 3 hours. They deliberately made it difficult to rebook flights with reasonable travel times, offering flight with 25-30 hrs duration. I managed to find a direct flight eventually, but was informed it was wait list only. I then had to speak with the live chat agents again to try to rebook onto a flight with guaranteed seats, but was again offered unreasonable flights that had multiple lay overs. The process was deliberately frustrating. The agents only relented after I spoke with another airline to gather information on their flights.

My return journey was booked for 12 February: New Delhi (DEL) β†’ Zurich (ZRH) β†’ Alicante (ALC), with scheduled arrival in Alicante on 12 February at around 10:00 AM. However, my DEL β†’ ZRH flight was delayed, causing me to arrive in Zurich too late and miss my connecting flight to Alicante. This missed connection was not my fault, as I followed the itinerary correctly and relied on the airline’s planned connection. Because of this, I was forced to stay overnight in Zurich and could not reach Alicante on the same day. The next day, I was rebooked, but not on a direct flight. Instead, I was routed Zurich β†’ Frankfurt β†’ Alicante, adding another connection and extending the travel time. As a result, I arrived in Alicante on 13 February at approximately 5:00 PM instead of 12 February at 10:00 AM, meaning I reached my final destination around 19 hours late.

Problems at airport

My flight from Luxembourg to Zurich was scheduled to depart at 19:05 and arrive at 20:00, but eventually departed around 20:25. As a result, I was unable to catch my connecting flight from Zurich to Athens (scheduled 21:00–00:35). Although the delay was already known at least two hours earlier at the check-in desk in Luxembourg (I explicitly asked the staff member, who confirmed that a delay was expected in the system), no proactive information was provided to passengers. If I did not ask myself, I would not have been informed of the delay at all, which was officially announced only shortly before departure, despite being known in advance. We were nevertheless informed by SWISS employees that we still had to travel to Zurich and attempt to catch the Athens flight; otherwise, we would lose the entire ticket. At the transfer desk in Zurich, I was rebooked on a flight from Zurich to Athens on the following day, 23 January 2026 (09:15–12:45). I was also provided with accommodation at the Intercity Hotel Zurich Airport, where I was told that dinner would be available, along with a CHF 20 food voucher for use at the airport. As it was already around 21:55, I explicitly asked the employee what would happen if the hotel claimed it was too late to serve dinner and I was reassured that this would not be an issue as SWISS has specific agreements with the hotels. You may confirm with the Intercity hotel that dinner was not provided to me. Unfortunately, the assistance I received at the transfer desk was seriously mishandled. I was given incorrect written printed instructions for a different hotel (Novotel Zurich City West), together with a public transportation ticket valid for 24 hours and instructions to take the S16 train, as well as a map leading to that hotel. Following these instructions, I travelled to Novotel Zurich City West, arriving around 23:00, where a member of the hotel staff confirmed that I was at the wrong hotel and that my reservation was actually at the Intercity Hotel Zurich Airport. As a result, I had to return to the airport area late at night, using the last available train (S9), followed by multiple long walks in unfamiliar and deserted areas, putting myself in danger. Exhausted and distressed, I finally reached the Intercity Hotel Zurich Airport close to midnight. By that time, no dinner could be provided, as I was informed that dinner is not served after 22.00. The following day I spoke with other passengers who had been accommodated at different hotels and learned that they were offered some form of dinner (for example, at B&B hotel dinner was served, at others pizza or packaged meals were provided), which further highlights the inconsistent handling of passenger care. In addition, during my interaction at the transfer desk, I was initially informed by the same employee that I should wait and collect my checked luggage. Based on information I had received from a colleague who had been assisted earlier by another SWISS employee and had been told that the luggage would be forwarded directly to Athens, I questioned this instruction. After consulting with a colleague, the employee acknowledged that my luggage would indeed be transferred directly to Athens, confirming that the initial information provided to me was incorrect. Furthermore, although a CHF 20 food voucher had been issued to me, I was unable to use it at the airport, as it was part of the same voucher as the hotel accommodation and was retained by the hotel upon check-in. This shows the unsuccessful organization by the company. This reflects a lack of proper provision in the process, as the voucher could not be used for its intended purpose. I was informed that this issue affected multiple passengers. I slept only a few hours before having to return to the airport early in the morning to catch my rebooked flight. Due to the overnight delay, I was unable to attend my work obligations on Friday, which caused further professional disruption. Overall, the handling of my case fell significantly below the level of care and organisation expected from SWISS. - The incorrect hotel printed instructions - The transportation to the hotel by public transport late at night - The lack of dinner provision in practice - the inability to use the issued 20 CHF voucher, and - the overall confusion caused me considerable distress and inconvenience.

Due to the delay in leaving Cairo, we missed our air connection to Geneva, the last of the day. (boarding pass attached). Swiss lodged us in an airport hotel in Zurich, and put us on a flight the next morning, but we were both late for meetings (professional and personal) the next day. We made a reclamation, (copies of e-mails attached) but Swiss advised us that it was due to "extraordinary" circumstances and therefore no compensation was due. the concrete circumstances and consequences of the delay of flight LX 633 on 7 January 2026. The delay of approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes on flight LX 633 (Paris CDG – Zurich) caused me to miss my connecting flight from Zurich to BogotΓ‘, on which I was scheduled to arrive on 7 January 2026 at 19:20. Instead, I only reached my final destination on 8 January 2026 at 23:00, resulting in a total arrival delay of over 27 hours. As a direct consequence of this delay: Β· I waited approximately 4 hours in line at Zurich Airport to have my journey rebooked. Β· During this period, there was very limited information provided, which contributed to a prolonged situation of uncertainty. Β· After finally being assisted, I was rebooked on 8 January 2026 on a complex itinerary full of delays: Zurich – Amsterdam (LX 0730), 8 January, delayed Amsterdam – Panama City (KL 0757), 8 January, delayed Panama City – BogotΓ‘ (AV 0057), 8 January, missed due to delay in previous flight Panama City – BogotΓ‘ (CM 876), 8 January Β· The long hours of waiting on bad conditions, with no information provided, and the fact that I had to sprint to be able to catch the Amsterdam-Panama City flight, caused me episodes of acute stress, a foot injury, and worsened the state of the painful abscess I had on my face. Β· I lost one whole day of work in Bogota, resulting in monetary loss and work backlog. Due to a further delay on the rebooked SWISS flight to Amsterdam, my connection time at Schiphol Airport was extremely short, forcing me to run through the airport to avoid missing the KLM flight. The KLM flight to Panama City was also delayed, which caused me to miss my connection to BogotΓ‘ and wait an additional three hours in Panama City. Upon arrival in BogotΓ‘, my luggage did not arrive with me and was only delivered to my home two days later, adding further inconvenience to the physiological and psychological effects already induced by a highly stressful itinerary. While I understand that adverse weather conditions may constitute extraordinary circumstances, I respectfully note the following points: 1. The weather conditions were forecast in advance, which should have allowed for reasonable preventive measures, such as reprogramming flights, instead of leaving passengers facing uncertainty and extended delays of more than 24 hours. 2. I kindly request verified and specific information regarding the actual causes of the delay affecting flight LX 633, particularly as an earlier flight on the same route was also delayed, which may suggest operational knock-on effects. 3. Not all flights operating within the same timeframe were cancelled or delayed to the same extent. It was snowy, a lot of flights were delayed. They didn't put our BOB stroller on board. We filed a PIR at the airport. It was lost for 2-3 days. When the returned it to us on the 3rd day, the area that the wheels go into was severely damaged. The wheels do not fit properly into it now, they wobble really badly. This great stroller is now unsafe and non-functional. I immediately went to Swiss's website to file a claim. Their web app ("myaero") wasn't working so I used their other form submission system. They sent me an email with a Claim ID (e05350b1-0574-450d-88be-abe6a1671103) and Reference Number (2601-LX-07340). We have taken this stroller on many flights in its lifetime and it has never been damaged. It is very rugged. It is a high end stroller, and there is no other stroller we want other than the BOB -- it is the only stroller that works for our family hikes. It costs $1500-$2000. It is not available in Hungary, so we'll have to have it shipped - at great expense - from the USA, which will cost another $1500-2000. If the airline can deliver it, that would save the shipping cost -- we'd be happy to have it shipped to the airline and then have them deliver it to the Budapest Airport (and from there to our home).

My initial flights were LYS --> CDG--> AMS-->RUH on the 5th of january. As the flight CDG --> AMS was cancelled, I have been routed on ZRH But this last was delayed and then I was stuck in ZRH and then rerouted on the following flights on the 6th of january: ZRH --> LHR --> RUH. For the night of 5th to 6th, I bought some products near ZRH. My luggage did not arrived onthe 6th. I only received them on the 8th january. So I also bought some necessary products in Riyadh before receiving my luggage on the 8th.

Terrible Customer Service/Fraud

My suitcase was damaged in July 2025 and I filed a complaint. I was contacted Dolfi1920. They asked for my banking account number to transfer the claim amount and five months later when I followed up they told me the transfer didn't go through. Next, Dolfi1920 asked me to send them my PayPal link which I did and now they are saying the money cannot be transferred quickly because their transfer volume is too high. Claim Report 01263150.

The flight from Cairo to Zurich was delayed such we were denied boarding and were too late for connection onward to Geneva. The airlines explictly confirmed that the reason for delay was a malfunction and a complete restart of the GPU unit. On arrival given the late hour (c midnight), there was no dinner available, we were not allowed to take our bags and we were allocation a hotel by tram. We took the first flight in the morning and arrived at our final destination at 08:45am. We missed our transit from Geneva airport to home and needed to pay for public transport on arrival. I wrote to Swiss air (email 1) and the site redirected me to Lufthansa. I then followed up as was told claims take up to 3 months to process. On the 16th December I wrote to their chat helpdesk and then received an response alleging that the reason for the cancellation was extraordinary. I doubt and dispute this.

I am a breastfeeding mother and was not allowed to board my first booked flight, with my husband and daughter because of what the check in staff for Swiss airlines, at London City Airport, called a "Double Shengen". This term was totally unknown to any of us and not something that was highlighted when we paid over Β£4,000 for flights, seats, extra luggage and upgrades, over a period of at least one week before our departure date. Swiss airlines were perfectly happy to take our money, but never informed us of this very serious, but easily avoidable, problem. After spending over an hour at their check in desk, their proposed solution was to charge us over another Β£900 for me to travel separately, 2 days later, from Heathrow airport, where the Double Shengen wouldn't apply. They have now refused to refund us for my return flight, which is not scheduled to fly back to the UK until 15th February. They have also been unwilling to change the date, or final destination airport, from Gatwick to Heathrow, so that the "Double Shengen" problem that occurred on my outbound flight, could be avoided for the return flight on 15th February. I should add that it was not possible to obtain a shengen visa at the time of booking, because the flights were only booked at the end of November and the outbound flight was on the 3rd of December. We have since discovered that it is also not possible to obtain a shengen visa from Freetown, because neither the Belgian or Swiss consulates in Sierra Leone carry out the required biometric assessments. After informing Swiss airlines of this new problem their latest proposed solution was for us to book completely new flights and pay whatever the cost for these would be. I have already incurred an additional expense of $601 US dollars to enable me to be re-united with my husband and breast fed daughter, by using another airline and I am likely to incur further expenses of a similar amount to return to my home in the UK in February. It seems to me that Swiss airlines are very happy take our money, but totally unwilling to provide solutions that don't involve us paying them significantly more money for new flights. As far as I am concerned Swiss airlines are no better than scammers. They provide totally insufficient information to enable customers to make informed decisions before using their services and paying them very large sums of money. We have communicated with Swiss airlines via their chat assist service, which has real humans, supposedly offering help, but none of the 4 or 5 employees that we have communicated with, had any knowledge of the Double Shengen problem. This was proven when they continued to offer me flights that had exactly the same Double Shengen problem that we contacted them to avoid. Swiss airlines have also now stated that what their staff state on their live chat is "non binding". I state this because we were informed by one of their online chat, human beings, that the ticket that we had purchased, offered a full refund if we chose to cancel.

Terrible Response from Customer Feedback Services

I reported the damage to my luggage at the airport and waited for someone to contact me, but no one ever did. It was very difficult to reach the Swiss air customer service team, but I finally found how to submit my claim again online. I purchased my luggage set in February of 2025 for my Europe trip, and everything was in perfect condition until my flight back from Venice, Italy to Boston, U.S. They absolutely dismissed the damage to my brand-new suitcase, even though I submitted many pictures and a copy of my receipt for the purchase of my brand new suitcase set. I chose to fly with Swiss Air over other carriers, including Delta, because of my high regard for their service, or so I thought. I expect to receive fair compensation for the damage - they totally broke off one of the wheels on the largest piece in the set which leaves the suitcase completely worthless and unusable. They keep emailing me that their response has been adequate and completely ignore the damage they caused. I feel as though, their responses are generated by AI and have no regard for my claim.

Claim escalated to airline

I was visiting a new city and I could not adjust to the season & temperature change, which was drastic - 20+ degrees in Switzerland to single digits in Manchester. This lasted a week, all because my baggage was sent to Portugal. I was told that I would receive my baggage 1-2 days after I filed my report, which I did at the airport upon finding out my luggage didn’t arrive. I then received very little information about its whereabouts and had to contact Swiss multiple times. Whilst I received a 250 chf voucher, this does not fully compensate for all the items I had to purchase for my trip, nor the inconvenience of not having my possessions for a week.

Lufthansa air lines, connecting flight misses due to late arrival to Swiss airport. Flight booking code 93KC9R. We missed an entire day of our vacation waiting at the airport. We missed a birthday for our niece. We landed in Switzerland at 6:35 and did not get off the plane until 7am. Connecting flight boarded at 6:30am and left Switzerland at 7:00am. It was impossible for us to take the train and travel to the connecting flight because we got off the plane at 7am. We travelled with a toddler and had to wait for the stroller. We spent an additional 8hours at the airport and traveling. We initially paid to arrive in Lebanon at 12pm. After the missed flight we arrived at 11:50pm. We bought food but paid cash.

I, dr. Istvan Farkas (address: 2112 VeresegyhΓ‘z, KodΓ‘ly Z. u. 45., Hungary) have booked a flight for 29 June 2024 for 5 persons on the PMI-BUD route, with a transfer in Zurich. Booking reference was TO8D5D, flight numbers PMI-ZRH LX2157 and ZRH-BUD LX2258 (connecting flights). During check-in at PMI airport, we were informed that flight LX2157 was delayed, but despite the delay, we still had a chance to transfer to flight LX2258. After boarding at PMI, the plane did not take off, and we waited for about an hour before departure. The plane took off from PMI at 16:30 instead of 15:00 and landed in Zurich at 17:52 instead of 16:55. After landing in Zurich, Swiss informed us that our booking for flight LX2258 ZRH-BUD had been cancelled and rebooked for flight LX2250, departing on 30.06.2024 at 7:20 am. We were instructed to contact your ground crew. We were informed by your ground crew that we could no longer board flight LX2258, even though it departed at 18:48 instead of 17:40. In light of the rebooking, you organized accommodation, transfers, and provided meals for us valued at 20 CHF per person, which we gratefully accepted. Due to your change of our booking, we arrived in Budapest at 8:48 am on 30/06/2024 instead of the originally scheduled arrival time of 19:15 on 29/06/2024, resulting in a delay of 13.5 hours.

Terrible customer service, refusal of compensation

My family and I booked Swiss Airlines flight LX7181 from Bangkok β†’ ZΓΌrich β†’ Amsterdam on 25 August 2025. 25 Aug 2025: Flight LX7181 cancelled due to technical problems 26 Aug 2025: Rebooked LX7181 also cancelled 28 Aug 2025: Swiss rebooked us on EVA Air, arriving in Amsterdam 3 days late Under EU Regulation EC261/2004, we are entitled to €600 per passenger (€2,400 total). Swiss Airlines has repeatedly denied compensation and refuses to provide any legal justification or proof of extraordinary circumstances, despite multiple requests. I have now escalated the case to FOCA (Swiss aviation authority). Hope this helps

My flight LX9 was scheduled to leave at 19:05 p.m. on 18/AUG. Swiss informed me of the cancellation of it via eMail on Friday, 15/AUG at 11:20 p.m. which I was able to read only on Sunday 17/AUG. When I checked my reservation, they have booked me for 18/AUG but at a time which was not convenient to me and no longer a non-stop flight but a much longer one and with a connection in Germany. Something I try to avoid due to my health condition. Later on, I called SWISS and was able to reschedule it to my original flight LX9 but for the following day: 19/AUG.

FΓΆr lite benutrymme trots att jag betalat fΓΆr mer

Hi I traveled from Gothenburg to Zurich on 12/8 at 14:50 and back from Zurich at 12:00 (which was delayed by an hour) on 16/8! On both trips I had booked seats with more legroom! But they were rebooked to regular seats. Even though I pointed out that I had paid more for the seats I had booked, no notice was made of this by either the check-in staff or the cabin crew. I think I should be compensated for this!!! I need crutches when I walk, so the only reason they gave was that you couldn't sit there when you need assistance. I don't think it is stated in any way on the booking pages that you can't sit in these seats if you need assistance! I feel misled and cheated into paying more for something I didn't get! On the trip to Zurich I had booked seat 11C and was placed on 2D and on the flight to Gothenburg I had booked 15C and was directed to 24D!
