I arrived at the airport in time, but due to the overbooked flight, they would not let me check-in and enter the airplane. The airline was very unhelpful. They would not give me a refund so that I could book with another airline and only offered me a flight two days later. Hence I made extra costs for the transport to and from the airport, as well as the hostel costs for 3 nights that I could not cancel anymore. Apart from that ofcourse, I missed a couple of days of my holiday.

Problems at airport

Subject: Request for Compensation Due to Severe Flight Delay and Emotional Distress Dear Air Advisor, On July 22nd, my husband, our 2-week-old infant, and I undertook an urgent and emotionally charged journey to Romania. This trip was not for leisureβ€”it was a medical emergency. My husband was scheduled for critical surgery to remove a tumor that had destroyed 40% of his jawbone. The situation was dire, and we had no choice but to fly despite just welcoming a newborn. We purchased the most suitable available itinerary under pressure, even though it included a long layover. Unfortunately, what should have been a challenging but manageable trip turned into a traumatic experience. Due to multiple delaysβ€”beginning with a nearly 1-hour delay in Chicagoβ€”we were forced to endure an exhausting journey of almost 48 hours. - A fight that was supposed to Arrive Cluj Napoca, Romania 0n Thursday July 24- 9.55am via Zurich, ended up arriving Friday July 25th after midnight Throughout the ordeal: - We ran out of infant formula and safe drinking water, which was terrifying with a newborn. - We ran out of diapers for the newborn. - We were stranded in Zurich for 4 hours and then again in Munich for another 9 hours before finally arriving at our destination. - Our checked baggage was delayed, adding to the chaos and stress. The delays forced us to miss my husband’s scheduled surgery, which had taken weeks to coordinate. We had to pay additional medical fees to reschedule, not to mention the emotional and financial toll it took on us as a young family in a medical crisis. To make matters worse, when we pleaded with the flight official in Zurich for help, explaining the medical urgency, we were accused of lying about the surgery and offered us a 15euro voucher to take cae of our inconvinces at the airport. I mean, FIFTEEN EURO!!!. This level of insensitivityβ€”while holding our newborn and trying to advocate for my husband's healthβ€”was humiliating and deeply hurtful. We are submitting this complaint not just for a refund, but for adequate compensation due to: 1. The significant financial losses incurred (emergency tickets, rescheduled surgery, supplies) 2. The emotional and psychological trauma we endured 3. The distress and physical risk placed on a 2-week-old baby 4. The unprofessional and accusatory treatment we received from airline staff in Zurich This was, without exaggeration, the most difficult travel experience of our livesβ€”and we are seasoned travelers. No family, especially under medical duress, should be subjected to such treatment. We trust that you will consider our situation with the seriousness it deserves. We look forward to your response and a fair resolution.

Weather conditions

Our rescheduled flight from Athens experienced a 5-hour delay prior to boarding, followed by an additional 2 hours sitting on the airplane before take-off, during which passengers were confined to their seats without proper updates or support. Throughout this extended ordeal, we were not offered any food or hotel vouchers, despite the total delay and clear passenger discomfort. Upon arrival in Newark, we missed our connecting flight to San Francisco as a direct result of this delay. We were further disappointed to learn that no alternative flight options were available that evening, forcing us to remain overnight in New Jersey without any compensation, accommodation, or assistance from United staff. No one was available for us to talk to after we got out of passport control. After hours of waiting and confusion, we were only able to secure a replacement flight for the following day, July 16 at 8:00 PM. This not only shortened our trip by approximately 36 hours, but subjected usβ€”particularly elderly members of our party, aged 70 and aboveβ€”to significant physical and emotional distress due to prolonged sitting in the delayed aircraft and uncertainty around onward travel. It also disrupted a carefully planned family trip that we had invested significant time, thought, money, and effort into. This delay caused a tangible loss of time and enjoyment. Additionally, we had prepaid for seats in advance so that our family could sit together comfortably during the long-haul segments of the trip. Despite this, two members of our family were moved to middle seats in the different section, even though we had paid for premium window seats. This caused further discomfort and frustration, particularly for the elderly members of our group who had counted on those reserved seats for accessibility and help with translation.

Technical problems

Our flight was scheduled to depart at 11:15 am. We were informed at boarding time that the flight was delayed to 1 pm because the crew didn't have enough rest time. Then the flight was delayed again. I asked for help to find a new connecting flight since we would not make it in time. They sent us meal vouchers. They delayed the boarding time again once we got to the gate at 3 pm to board the flight. They informed us that the new staff member had arrived, but there was now an issue with the cabin door pressure. We were delayed again. Then they gave us the green light to board. However, once we boarded the plane, another mechanical problem arose with the flight's hydraulic stairs. They left us on the plane, and we waited for an engineer to address the issue. Next, an electrical problem arose on board, necessitating a reset of the entertainment systems' electricity. This took another 10-15 minutes. We were on the plane for almost 2 hours before we were able to begin the flight. We didn't take off until after 5 pm. It was over 6 hours delayed. When we landed, we had to rush to our connection to avoid getting stuck in the IAD airport. Our flight landed around 8:30, and our next flight took off around 10 pm in a new terminal. We had to get through customs, retrieve our luggage, reload it, go through security, take a tram to a new terminal, and then walk to the opposite side for the connecting flight. No places were open to redeem our free meal vouchers. We wouldn't have had any time to use them, and they expired the following day. Due to the inconvenience, I had to pay an extra day of dog sitting and miss an appointment. We also had to pay for a taxi because we arrived so late, and our family member wasn't able to pick us up at 12:30 am when we arrived home. We spent $96 on a taxi ride.

Weather conditions

We boarded the flight AMS-IAH, somewhere above the US. They told us that due to bad weather, we're being diverted to Tulsa. Shortly after, they changed direction to Dallas, as it is a bigger airport, more capable of handling big aircraft. We landed in Dallas, and we were waiting to get more fuel. Every 20 minutes, they said it would be another 20 minutes till we get refueled. After an hour or two, they announced that the pilots had timed out and could not fly to Houston, and we would have to wait for another crew to arrive. So they unboarded us. They unwillingly gave us food vouchers that were not valid (but we already filed a reimbursement claim on their website). During that time, the flight from Houston to San Jose kept being delayed, but we couldn't make it to it. After waiting at the Dallas airport for about 10-12 hours, the crew arrived and we boarded for flight to Houston. In Houston, we had to fight dearly to get the earliest flight to San Jose via support chat. They kept saying the earliest flight is on the 11th of July at around 5 or 7 pm. Luckily, the fellow passengers told us that they succeeded in getting tickets for the flight early the next morning, so we pressed on and got the same tickets. Others may not have been as lucky (from an overheard conversation at the service desk in Houston). We have the chat screenshots if necessary, but they wouldn't upload here for some reason. In Houston, though, they did send us valid meal vouchers. So in the end, we arrived in San Jose about 15 hours later (instead of 7:30 pm on the 9th, we arrived at 10:00 am on the 10th of July). We lost only 1 night of stay booked through Airbnb. The biggest loss was the lack of sleep and unnecessary stress.

Rude comments from gate agent. SNA

I was pre-boarding flight UA1352 to IAH. I have a form of deafness due to vaccine injury. I checked in, with another gate agent (I read lips), to be sure that I could preboard with my husband and got an okay, a smile, and thumbs up. Different agent, as we were boarding, tried to shame me. My husband told her that i couldn't hear her, but he communicated to me that she loudly declared, "What, you forgot your wheelchair?" All i know was that i saw an angry face with a grimace, yelling at me. She was yelling at me a lot! And others joined in with nasty looks, assuming that i was cheating to preboard. I am not only mostly deaf, I am 76 with asthma, and extreme osteoporosis, and probably should be using a wheelchair, for that. People tell me i look like i am 50, but in any case, it was a very unpleasant experience to be yelled at and to be pubilicly "called out" for cheating when i wasn't cheating at all. Many passengers who boarded after us pointed me out and gave me nasty looks.

Technical problems

We arrived at airport at 6:45am for our 9:35am scheduled flight. The airline started posting the flight was delayed but no explanation. Sometime after 1:00 pm we received a 15$ food voucher but the airline kept stating we would be boarding soon. We were afraid to leave to go eat that we would miss our flight. This delay also caused us to miss our connecting flight to Atlanta. The re-booked flight had us delayed for over an hour setting on the tarmac before we could take off. Overall from start to finish our travel time was about 26hrs before we arrived home.

Departure time was delayed many times without providing any reasons for it. Once boarded 3 hours and 25 minutes after the expected departure time, the Captain announced that we were waiting "to be assigned a window to take off" and anticipated that could take up to another 1 hour and 20 minutes. This occurred after the plan fully boarded, so we had to wait in the plane. My wife got a panic attack as she is claustrophobic. The situation was really dramatic as we were travelling with a 1 year old baby and we ended up spending 10 hours and a half in the plane.

Technical problems

My flight was on July 3, 2025, from LHR to SFO (UA949). It was supposed to be a direct flight (12:20 pm GMT+1 to 03:20 pm PDT; total flight time: 11 hr). However, I was notified by a self-check-in machine (not even by a UA representative) during the bag drop-off process that there would be a delay for the flight, but no reason was provided at the moment. After boarding, the pilot told us that we were going to make a stop at BOS for a fuel refill and hence the delay. An unexpected stop in a 'direct flight' plus the gas refilling process, together with the crew member exchange, extended our flight duration by more than 3 hrs (we finally arrived at 6:48 pm local time). This incident messed up my Uber pick-up schedule and further complicated my plans in the afternoon.

Influence by other flights

My flight was initially delayed a couple of hours, making my connection in Dulles extremely tight. United then automatically changed my connecting flight to one departing much later, meaning I would be stuck in Dulles several hours and not reach Cleveland until midnight. By the time I landed in Dulles, my connecting flight wasn’t leaving until 2:30 am. I tried desperately to get someone to help, but United gate workers just kept redirecting me to the help line or chat. My friend that I was with kept calling and getting cut off. We finally had to exit the airport and go back to the main terminal and wait in line. By then, we had no choice but to accept a hotel voucher and fly out the next morning. We finally arrived in Cleveland at 11 am the following day.

Flights were delayed. Terrible food

The food was terrible. They put on the entire main course a sweet souse with a bad taste. Most of the people use salt and pepper in the food. Salads are mostly flavored with oil vinegar salt and pepper. They should have put that souse on the side as an option. The flights were delayed as most of the time with United Airlines.

Baggage check and flight attendent

While trying to check my bags at your quick check point your baggage person treated me like I have never been treated while flying only on United Airlines for more than thirty years. He asked me some questions in broken English about checking my bags which I could not understand and then he took my cell phone and did something with it. He then gave me my phone back. After that my wife showed him our boarding passes on her phone, The same passes that were on my phone, She did not allow him to take her phone. Before that I had my mobile boarding pass on it. After that I was not able to get my mobile pass again. My phone is now changed because of his misusing it and I will have to go to Verizon for them to fix the problem he created, I do not like the taking my phone by him, Mainly berceuse I don't know where his hands had been before touching my phone i. e, germs, filth etc, My other complaint is the flight attendant on this flight spoke so fast and some what loud until I could not understand most of what she was saying, So I just disregarded all of it. However a loud SHOUT OUT! to the pilots. On landing with some cross winds they nailed-it PERFECT!!!

Technical problems

Our flight was redirected to Boston due to the toilets not being emptied before we boarded. We were on the plane for 11 hours due to this. Arriving in Chicago at around 16.30 instead of 14.10. Then in the line for immigration for over an hour! It was an uncomfortable flight due to the need to use the toilet by all four passengers. The smell, and the fact there were people queuing constantly causing disruption. No peace at all on flight. The captain apologised but that didn’t solve our uncomfortable flight. No extra care was provided. We paid alot of money to fly direct for the comfort and a speedy trip. This did not happen. We ended up missing an arrival family reunion due to this… family members we hadn’t seen for years had to leave before we arrived! This is not the first time I have had disruption flying with united. Last September my direct flight was cancelled and I ended up flying via Frankfurt, I had a panick attack, had to run through Frankfurt airport to get a connection flight and arrived in Chicago 6 hours later than schecualed.

The flight was abruptly diverted to London in teh middle of

Dear United Airlines Customer Care Team, I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with my recent experience on UA770. Tuesday May 27th 2025. From Barcelona to Chicago. Just as the supper was being served everything was halted and we were told that our flight was being diverted to Heathrow Airport due to the mechanical issue and we were told we will be accommodated to a hotel for an overnight stay. Since we had no choice on the matter we all landed at the Heathrow airport where we have been kept inside of the airplane nearly an hour then rushed out of the plane and given 2 piece of papers one showing passenger rights the other arranged flight schedule and told to pick up our luggage, follow the blue sings and find our way to the Hilton hotel. I am a 74 old man traveling alone never been to Heathrow airport I know nothing what so ever it was shocking to me how disorganized everything looked. I followed some of the experienced passengers eventually I collected my luggage but the challenge was one luggage weighted 50 lbs the other almost 20lbs and logging along these 2 luggages turned out to be a torture especially going trough the security and paying to pass the gates and paying again to get out of the gates and following the blue signs with terminal numbers and suddenly I found myself nowhere there were no more blue signs. I was confused alone and nervous in the night, luckily a young man who happed to be passing by told me that I can get to the Hilton Hotel trough a train but he was not sure where to exit and helped me to get on the train. I made 2 full rounds on the train waiting for a Hilton exit but there was none then finally a train passenger told me to get off at Hatton Cross and get on another train that would take me to the Hilton. Here I am 74 years old man carrying 70lbs load in the night getting from one train to another sweating profusely nervous as hell, adrenaline is pumping probably ready to have a heart attack but finally found the station to exit the train and then walked another 100 or more yard to get to the hotel with my 70lbs luggage. By the time got to the hotel I was totally exhausted and soaked in sweat. Finally I found few other passengers also made it to the hotel on a different way. So I checked in and scanned the paper that was given to me earlier which showed my departure flight was schedule at 8.25 am which was totally unrealistic. So I went back to the hotel receptionist hoping to get some help to reschedule my flight. Thanks God she turned out to be a lifesaver β€œJEN” she told me to use the lobby phone otherwise I will be charged for the phone call. So I made my first call to the 8082345432 at 20.21 pm after a few minutes delay started talking to someone named Camie she was trying to help me but at one point she needed to talk to her supervisor ask me to hold but actually she cut me off. I called back again at 20.50 started taking to Byron and he was nice enough to help me and after being on hold nearly 20 minutes he arranged a new flight for me. But of course after all that hassle I spent the night sleepless. Following morning I was at the Hotel lobby trying to figure out how to get back to the airport when I met a Taxi driver at the lobby who had the perfect way to take me to the airport and helped me all the way to the United Airlines counter and explained it to them what I needed even helped me with my luggage. Then I found out that I could have stayed at the airport without going trough all this hassle and logging along 70 lbs for nothing i could have stayed at the airport without asleep which could have been much easier than what I went trough. Especially if I had known that I was going to get ZERO assistance and help from the United Airlines. The United Airlines acted totally insensitive. Irresponsible, negligent and showed ZERO care to guide, help, or provide assistance with anything from the airport to the hotel. As I said before I am 74 years old man and I have a defibrillator to support my heart this event could have ended my life right at the airport. I am way to old to log along 70 lbs in the middle of the night at an unknown territory. The United Airlines caused significant inconvenience, showed ZERO guidance, support and provided zero help and put my life in danger. I had paid for the taxi driver and the gates I passed trough which I have no idea what they were and I went trough an incredibly high anxiety and pain which caused me to be awake all night and major back ache after coming back home. The United Airlines was totally unprepared for this type of event and acted very unprofessionally by just giving 2 piece of paper and telling us to follow the blue signs. That is pathetic, and caused me physical and mental anguish as well as pain and suffering. I kindly request a resolution, such as refund, compensation for this matter without filing charges trough my attorney. I would appreciate a prompt reply and resolve the matter civilly but I will be keeping a copy for my attorney in case this matter ends up in the court system. Please let me know if you have any questions. Ali Vito Bilgino. .

Involuntary Seat Change

At about two hours before my flight, I opened my online boarding pass which had me sitting in seat 35C, a seat I specifically chose. Then a flight attendant identified another seat I had been assigned to - 28C. As a result, I had to wait until the plane was completely empty to go back and open the overhead bin where I placed my bag over seat 35C. This is very rude to change my seat involuntarily! I don’t typically complain but was unhappy with the choice UA made without me knowing and losing an about 15 or 20 min for no reason.

Technical problems

I arrived at the final destination 23hrs after to originally planned arrival time. The airline told us about 2hrs after the planned departure time that the flight had been canceled. There was no care provided. I ended up having to take public transportation back to my mother's house - but since public transport was under construction, it took me two hours and an Uber to get there. I then had to change the car rental in SF to a higher cost car, because they were unable to hold my lower cost rental for the time of the delay. I arrived at my retreat destination south of San Francisco after about 10hrs, having missed the first half day of the (really expensive) retreat and lunch as well as dinner.

Delayed baggage from PBI

My wife and I left on United flight # 601 on 2/2/2025 to attend a very important wedding and checked two bags at the same time. When we arrived only one bag was there and we were told the missing bag would be delivered around 4:00 to our hotel. The bag did not arrive until almost 7:00 causing us to miss most of the wedding, which was planned for almost a year, since our clothes were in the suitcase. We called United and were told that we woulld get a total of 7500 points reimbursed which I find very insulting considering we have been Mileage Plus members for well over 20 years. I would expect to be compensated for the entire amount of points used for this trip. The claim number is PB 137194 M, the confirmation number is H9L2D3 and the case # is 173860293378477. I await your prompt response to be compensated properly for this horrifying experience.

Reconsideration of Overweight Baggage Fee @ GIG

I am extremely disappointed with Unite airlines handling my recent baggage fee dispute. As a premium ticket holder, I was entitled to check two bags of up to 23 kg each. One of my bags weighed 17 kg, while the other exceeded the limit by 4 kg. My total baggage weight was within my allowance, yet your check-in agent insisted I redistribute the weightβ€”even though my smaller bag was full. I was left with no reasonable option but to pay an unfair $200 fee. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this issue through united customer service, I have only received generic responses dismissing my claim. It is unacceptable that a loyal customer is charged unfairly and ignored when requesting a fair resolution. I am now taking this issue public because I believe other travelers should be aware of United’s unreasonable baggage policies and lack of proper customer care. I expect United to reconsider this matter seriously. Case ID: 173921076976783 United Airlines (KMM87320505V41881L0KM) #UnitedAirlines #CustomerServiceFail #UnfairFees #DoBetterUnited

Technical problems

Our return flight from Paris to ORD scheduled for 6/1/25 was cancelled hours before departure and we were rebooked for 9/1/25, 3 days later. The airline suggested we fly to Brussels or Frankfurt to catch a flight home. But never offered to pay for those suggested flights. We don't speak the languages, had luggages, and my husband has limited mobility. So we elected to stay in France the 3 extra days, we had to find another Airbnb, had to pay for train rides back to Marseille then again back to Paris on 9/1/25 along with Uber costs and food expenses. When we got to the airport on 9/1/25, United Airlines couldn't find our reservations, luckily, i had text messages from them about the cancellation and rebooking. The wonderful UA staff (4 of them) at Paris airport worked really hard to find us something. Finally, they were able to secure seats for us with layover in different a different city, but at this point, we didn't care, we were just happy to be flying home to California. 27 hours later i was back home. We tried asking for a refund and reimbursement with United but was told to seek reimbursement from Lufthansa. Now both airlines are blaming the other for the cancellation and won't process our requests. They both are denying blame while we missed work and had to incurred extra costs for hotel, meals, and trains back and forth to the airport. What was a wonderful trip to visit our daughter in Paris is now a nightmare trying to sort all this out. Very frustrated.

I tried to click on "yes I've contacted" but then I couldn't continue to the next part of the application, unless I uploaded a photo of the fact that they offered me a voucher or asked me to sign something - which they did not. They simply said they would not be compensating me because it was not part of the policy, or something in those words.

Due to thunderstorms we missed our connecting flight from ORD to DUB. We were told that we had been rebooked on the next flight the following morning. We had to pay out of pocket for our hotel at the airport for the extra night. Also due to the delay I had to pay extra for another day of dog minding and because we arrived a day late than expected the dog sitter could not bring our dog back on Sunday so I had to pay for a pet taxi to collect him and bring back to Dublin. The next day we went back to aer Lingus to check in. We were told they see us on the flight but a ticket wasn’t issued and that we needed to speak with United instead. They sent us to the United desk in terminal 1. United then said, we had a ticket and that aerlingus should see that and let us on the flight. We went back and forth between United ticket desk and aerlingus ticket desk and we psychically had to do this in ORD 4 times. Neither airline would help us until finally a United agent told us to go back to aerlingus and see if they will let us on the flight. United said if we weren’t allowed on the aer Lingus flight then if we made it back to the United terminal by 5pm they could get us on another flight from Chicago to Washington to Dublin. In the end we took the Washington flight and made it back to Dublin on Monday dec 30th at 10am. We were supposed to be back Sunday dec 29th at 9am. Our bags did not arrive until Jan 3rd almost a week late. I had to ring United to look for them as they were sitting in ORD for days. The travel was extremely daunting and unpleasant. I purchased the tickets on aerlingus website and no agents with Aer Lingus would help with the situation or try to escalate the problem to a supervisor. The agents told us to call customer service but due to our Irish mobile we could not call internationally. WiFi was not very good. We were stuck as a messenger between airlines. Please reimburse to us the extra expense we paid out of pocket for something out of our control.

After taking off from Frankfurt, there was a medical emergency on board, which forced the pilot to make an emergency landing in London. After landing, we were informed from Chicago that we would not be flying today and would have to spend a night in London. As a result, we lost a day in New York and had to pay for a hotel that we did not stay in. Furthermore, our tickets for the Friends Experience on December 30, 2024, will expire.

Weather conditions

The airline claimed that it was due to inclement weather conditions in Newark; however, there were many other flights departing and arriving in Newark at that time. Because they cancelled my flight on the 27th, they rescheduled me a whole day later through Washington D.C. I arrived in Pittsburgh a whole day later and missed an important family event.

claim couldn't reschedule for 2 days to IAH then 1 extra day

im 62. arrived in SanFran 1st time @ about 7am missed connection to IAH due to customs rescheduled - told wait 48 hours for next available flight to IAH - UA BLAMED customs - finally a different employee of UA changed me to COPA AIRLINES FLY TO DESTINATIION - Medellin-Jose via Panama wait in Sanfran airport at my expense until about 12 at night = 17 hours - COPA said UA had not properly transferred & I would have to pay for my luggage weight - but then decided to get back to United and did not charge me - I discovered during v. long wait time in customs queue while missing my connection and extending my trip by almost another day that is a common problem - thus UA knew they sold me flights they knew had a v. low chance of occurring - especially since the UA WERE SET UP ALREADY TO RESCEDULE FLIGHTS + UA PREVENTED ME FROM FILLING OUT A COMPLAINT FORM BY SENDING ME IN CIRCLES ON THEIR SITE.

Changing the time of departure without prompt notification i

Flight 1 of 1 UA3676 MilelagePlus SCV36451 Flight Operated by REPUBLIC AIRWAYS DBA UNITED EXPRESS. December 20, 2024 Frankfurt to Newark Departs 5:15 PM UA 075 December 21, 2024 Newark to Columbus Departs !0:58. UA 3600 Dear United: I am writing in regard to the horrible trip on December 20, 2024. My daughter wanted to treat us to business class to Germany for the Christmas Marts. We flew over with Air France with no trouble but when it was time to return on United from Frankfort, the time of departure was changed with no notice to us or to my daughter, Sarah Rich. This is important because with the change to a departure early in the day, we could skip staying overnight in Newark at a cost of $200 and we would have had time to reschedule to Columbus Ohio later on the 20th. When we reached the Frankfurt Airport, the person working checking said she couldn’t help make new reservations and we would need to call United Customer Service. Jim had called the night before and the agent said he would get back to him but never did. My husband is handicapped and needs a wheelchair for long distances. Jim had to stand in the Frankfurt Service area WHERE NO SEATS were provided to try to get help. We decided to give up and went to the waiting area in the airport to wait for a wheelchair per the desk agents. After an hour, I went back to the desk and received no help with the wheelchair. As we waited, a mouse was bouncing around the seats. My husband made the decision to try to walk to the gate in order to get there in time. We missed the use of the United Lounge which would have been helped with my husband’s disability. When we entered the plane, the staff was polite and helpful. I expected a calm, quiet and comfortable flight. What the passengers in Business Class were in, was a fourth-grade classroom. A large family with children were rarely in their seats as well as talking loudly. They ignored the staff’s polite requests and continued their misbehavior. I am not anti-child; if a baby was crying, I would shrug it off. I appreciate the staff’s efforts, but I believe the Flight Crew should have been called in to help settle these people down. Changing the time of departure without prompt notification is inexcusable. The ability to change flights is awkward, difficult, and in our case, unsuccessful. At every airport, my husband received a wheelchair at check in but not at Frankfurt. And yes, I hold United responsible for making sure Business Class is quiet. I feel strongly that we deserve a refund.
