Untimely scheduling to catch flights causes one to miss

Hello yes an email for conversation for the ticket for Tampa to Little Rock Arkansas supposed to arrive by 11 AM, June 15, 2024 boarding ended before I could successfully make it to the gate terminal from check-in and then I had to wait a few hours to catch the next flight. And it gets me to Atlanta late. I went straight from the air flight to my on boarding gate and it was already closed so I missed another connection. Due to untimed scheduling. Then I was giving another on boarding after missing that D8A TO GET TO LITTLE ROCK FROM ATLANTA ENDED UP WITH ANOTHER BOARDING FOR 5:40 MAKING ME ARRIVE AT 6:14 PM SEVERAL WHOLE HOURS AFTER I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE OFF THE PLANE AND WORKING THE JOB I HAVE COME TO DO I Am requesting a refund due to the big inconvenience. It calls me. I missed the whole day at work yesterday hundreds of dollars I missed Thank you so kindly CHANTELLE DAVIS 813-525-6411

Air-conditioning in JFK

My Flight has been for more than 4 hours from NY to Berlin delayed and the flight is operated by Airfrance but this one doesn't want to take the responsibility because the flight was with Delta which is not located in EU

Customer service was not what I have been used to from Delta

To whom it may concern; Please take note that my name is Eith Yuen and I have been a Delta customer for over 20 years. I have always chosen Delta for my travels as I always felt that I was taken care of with Delta. On a return flight back home to Greensboro North Carolina I arrived at the airport about an hour early and had checked in. with my boarding pass on my cell phone I found my way to the departure gate 20 minutes before the plane was due to depart. as the plane was boarding I filed in line with the other travelers. As I gave my phone to the Delta employee to scan my boarding pass to scan declined multiple times. The Delta employee then turned to his fellow employee to inquire about the status of the boarding pass and that particular employee stated very non-chalantly that he may have given the flight to a stand by customer. I was floored by his demeanor. I asked to speak to a manager and a woman by the name of Vanessa Vargas came over and reiterated there was nothing that could be done. At that point the flight had still not taken off. In the past I had witnessed Delta employees board the plane to remove the standby customer in order to place to rightful person on the flight. I had asked Ms. Vargas for the name of the employee that had assumed responsibility for giving the flight away , Ms. Vargas stated she did not know his name. Although I found that hard to believe, I was too upset to argue that point. I was forced to accept the change without so much as a voucher for the inconvenience of having to wait for the next available flight. This time difference caused a lot of strife. Upon reaching my destination of Greensboro, N.C. I had to order an Uber. My previous arrangement could not be altered due to the later time of arrival. After 20 years of constant patronage of Delta and the trauma I had endured I may now be considering another airline to fly with. I had to take some time to process all that happened. I felt disregarded as a loyal customers and I had to express my disappointment by writing to Delta. Yours truly, Eith Yuen

Delayed over 4 hours with no explanation

Was stuck in transferring airport because airline did not prepare the equipments in time. Refuse to compensate and was extremely rude to customer. All on flight entertainment was unavailable too for a 10 hours flight.

Weather conditions

We arrived in DTW on May 26 at 2:00 p.m EST. The airline rebooked us the next day (May 26 at 11 a.m Paris time) and we were booked at the back of plane instead of the nicer seats we had booked for the flight we missed. We have animals at home that we needed to get home to to take care of, which was delayed by a whole day. The airline provided us with a place to stay for the night and vouchers for food.

iPad in Luggage

I was asked to take out my iPad from my checked in luggage . I checked the policy on your website and there is no such policy . Your staff refused to listen to me and said it’s the policy . I told them it clearly wasn’t as I flew into Atlanta from Boston where my iPad was in the luggage . Your staff are both clueless and inconsiderate as they said that’s Boston and not Atlanta . fell on escalator Atlanta airport, cut head April 21

I fell on escalator at Atlanta airport and cut head open and was covered in blood. Went to Delta desk and was told I could not fly until head was fixed. I was totally on my own and had to get taxis to and from Grady hospital trauma unit, paying cash to drivers each way since they would not accept credit card. I had my head stapled up and taxied back to airport and was booked on next flight to Costa Rica, sitting at gate covered in blood. Delta did not help in any way and with my head in pain, suffered during flight. Even flight attendant could not believe what happened when she saw my head wrapped and said I should file a complaint.

Complete mishandling of connecting flight.

Flight confirmation # HKQBWM Travelers: Peter Katsigiannis & Melissa McMahon On Thursday May 9th my spouse and I were on flight 2552 departing from FLL destination JFK from where we were supposed to board connecting flight 5386 to YUL. The flight left FLL a few minutes late but was still able to land in JFK on time. Once we disembarked off of flight 2552, we had to walk 20 minutes across the massive airport only to board a shuttle bus to bring us even further to our connecting gate A11. Once we finally arrived, we were informed by a Delta rep that the flight had just departed and that we never had a chance to make that flight unless the gates were next to our arrival gate???. The employee was polite but showed us the list of over 10 passengers who missed the same connection. With a layover of less than an hour it begs the question, why are connecting flights placed on opposite sides of a very large airport? This was our first time travelling with Delta and at first, I admired certain aspects that made Delta stand out from the other airlines such as detail to image which was evident in employee's uniforms, hospitality nuances and a clean marketing message. However, that all came to an end when we were told that our new connecting flight would be departing from La Guardia situated over an hour away. To add insult to injury no financial assistance or shuttle was offered to us. We were told in a matter-of-fact way " Delta does not do that" only a recommendation that perhaps would avoid the $100+ taxi service because it takes a long time due to the NY traffic situation, how kind. As well, we paid to have our luggage checked and were made to go retrieve them which took Delta over an hour to find?? then drag them across the city to La Guardia. Through a system of the Air train, subway and a bus. The question remains, how is this considered acceptable? I am recovering from a broken leg; my spouse suffers from back issues and the last thing we needed was to have to hustle march with two loaded suitcases' and 2 heavy carry ons in tow through New York's seedy public transit system of which at one point someone attempted to walk off the subway with one of our carry ons. Is this what travelling with Delta means?. In all honesty we would have gladly refused to be PAID to travel like this. To have to dash across airports to reach an impossible gate then be told sorry it's not our problem and sent off across a mega metropolis ghetto style to reach another airport. How can this be acceptable? It has been almost one week and we finally feel recovered enough from this nightmare but we do feel Delta owes us some form of compensation and explanation of how things like this can happen with such a reputable airline? Or is this really the way Delta treats their customers? Sincerely, Melissa McMahon, RN,BNI
