My flight was canceled and no one ever answered the phone at their company. I spent days trying to contact them and received no response. I had to buy a separate plane ticket. I did not receive any notification, any alternative, any option, or any help. It was an emergency flight, costing almost β¬1500, plus other expenses. What is the procedure? Do I need to send the tickets I purchased afterwards, or should I wait for you to process the case?- Delhi-Doha

Customer service unresponsive, German phone number unavailable, chat support disabled.
BER was shut down due to ice and the flights were not departed. Our flight was moved to the next day, but the subsequent flights were not rescheduled. We were then offered a reschedule option that would land us at our destination 3 days later than planned. We requested a cancellation through Expedia, on where we had booked the flight. It's been over a month and the airline still hasn't provided a response either to us or to Expedia.- Schonefeld-Phuquoc

Over charged for extra baggage weight.
Told extra weight was about Β£25 but actually charged Β£215. therefore extremely out of pocket and over charged. Hopefully this was a mistake not deliberate. Unable to contact Qatar at present . They don't answer the phone and are unavailable on chat. Do not seem to be able to find any mans of complaint in order to get a refund.Overall
Over charged due to baggage weight by Β£200

Terrible customer service and lack of respect
The four-day delay was caused by a technical issue that the airline was aware of before allowing passengers to check in and remain in the airport and customs area for approximately three hours. This situation appears avoidable and reflects poor operational management. During this time, passengers received no meaningful information for several hours and were eventually instructed to board buses for transfer to a hotel. Contrary to what was communicated, the hotel did not meet the stated five-star standard and was located in an area that felt unsafe for families. Additionally, my child, despite having a full-fare ticket, was provided only a small bowl of plain boiled rice, with staff explaining that children are restricted to βspecial menusβ and could not be offered additional food. This was both surprising and inappropriate given the circumstances. We then waited nearly two days with little to no communication regarding our rebooking. When we were finally able to speak with a representative, the interaction was disappointing. The agent was dismissive and informed us that if we wanted an alternative comparable to our original booking, we should search for it ourselves, as she did not have time to assist us. We were further told that we were among the last passengers to be rebooked and therefore had to accept whatever options remained. Overall, the lack of communication, inadequate assistance, and unprofessional customer service significantly worsened an already difficult travel disruption.Overall
Poor customer service for rebooking the cancelled flight, poor communication in the airport, lousy hotel and awful food provided

Influence by other flights
I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding a delayed flight on 30 June 2025 that resulted in a missed connection and significant disruption to my travel plans. My itinerary was as follows: β’ Flight QR1969 from Riyadh (RUH) to Doha (DOH), scheduled to depart at 23:00 on 30 June 2025. β’ Connecting flight QR1369 from Doha to Cape Town (CPT), scheduled to depart at 02:05 on 1 July and arrive in Cape Town at 10:50. Unfortunately, flight QR1969 was delayed by approximately two hours and did not depart until around 01:00 on 1 July. As a result, I missed my connecting flight QR1369 to Cape Town. I was rebooked on an alternative flight more than 24 hours later. While I appreciate the hotel accommodation and transportation that were provided in Doha, the extended delay caused considerable inconvenience and disrupted my travel plans. As a result of the missed connection: β’ I lost a prepaid night at my accommodation in Cape Town. β’ I lost more than a full day of my planned vacation, which was already short and carefully scheduled. β’ I missed out on planned activities and bookings, which were non-refundable and booked in advance. I kindly request the following: β’ A clear explanation for the delay of flight QR1969 β’ Compensation in accordance with Qatar Airwaysβ policies and international air passenger rights (such as EC261, if applicable) β’ Reimbursement for the lost accommodation, missed activities, and other expenses incurred due to this disruption- Riyadh-Cape Town

Denied boarding despite full compliance
I was refused onboarding by Qatar Airways despite fully complying with all airline requirements. When I attempted to resolve the issue with the airline, they failed to provide rebooking, alternative transport, or the service covered by my paid ticket. As a result, I incurred substantial additional costs to complete my journey. I made multiple attempts to settle the matter directly with Qatar Airways, but they did not provide any assistance or resolution.Overall
Refused onboarding for no reason

Lost baggage and false promises.
We had a flight from Bali to Doha and from Doha to Johannesburg. When we arrived in Johannesburg on 03/02/2026, we waited and waited for our luggage which never came. We then went to enquire about it and we were informed it's still in Doha, it will be delivered on 04/02/2026 at 09h00. Today we phoned again and we were informed it will only be delivered in 06/02/2026 as it is still in Doha. We booked another holiday leaving on 04/02/2026. We had to cancel as we don't have any of our belongings. We received no communication from Qatar. We had to phone them the entire time. We lost out on our holiday money due to us not having our luggage.Overall

Misleading Travel Information and Rebooking Cost Inconsistencies
I relied on the travel requirements information provided by the Qatar Airways online tool when preparing for my journey. This information later proved to be misleading. As a result, I was unable to board my flights, which led to significant disruption and extensive rebooking efforts, and additional costs exceeding β¬1,500. I also spent several hours on the phone attempting to resolve the situation! While customer service was accessible and I was able to speak with agents, I received conflicting and inconsistent information. One agent advised that the re-booking cost would be β¬342 but instructed me to leave the ticket open and reconnect later. The following day, I was quoted a re-booking cost of β¬1,461, despite no change in fares displayed on the website. When I requested to speak with a manager, the agent acknowledged an error in his calculation and reduced the fee to β¬783, He insisted that the previous agent had made a mistake in her calculations when she quoted β¬342! This was extremely confusing!Overall

Please see attached. Qatar have responded but completely missed the fact we were not provided with a hotel for the second night of our delay and had to sleep in the lounge at the airport, and also the reason given for the delay on the initial outbound flight (LHR to Doha) causing us to miss our connection to Dubai was not an air traffic control issue, they were just delayed taking off as they didnt get everyone on board quickly enough and missed their take off slot.- London-Dubai
