Our departure from Manchester airport was delayed by approximately 2.5 hours, with minimal information provided regarding the reason for the delay. Upon arrival at Doha airport around 2:10am local time, a member of Qatar Airways staff informed us that our inbound flight had arrived late, causing us to miss our connecting flight to Melbourne. Consequently, we were transferred to the next available flight departing at 21:00 on the same day and were issued new boarding passes. We were directed to an information desk to receive meal and accommodation vouchers. Unfortunately, we queued for over two hours with our two young children (aged 2 and 4) before obtaining meal vouchers. We also requested changes to our seating arrangement as we were assigned seats in four different locations across the plane; we had originally booked specific seats to accommodate our family. However, this alteration could not be made until we checked in for the subsequent flight. We proceeded to another information desk to collect our accommodation vouchers. As there were no strollers available within the airport, we resorted to using luggage trolleys to transport our sleeping children. Due to availability issues, we could not access the hotel accommodation until 10am. At check-in for the next flight, our seating was adjusted to place me and the children together, but my husband was seated elsewhere, which was not ideal for a 13-hour flight with young children. We arrived in Melbourne at approximately 19:00, 20 hours later than originally scheduled. Both my husband and I had to take an additional day off work and incurred extra costs for pre-booked childcare services.- Manchester-Melbourne

Our flight was delayed in Manchester and we were not explained the real reason for the delay in writing. The flight landed in Qatar late but was still prior to the connecting flight in Melbourne but the Airline had already made the decision to re-book us on a flight the following day without discussion of consultation with us as a paying travelling family. We were travelling with two toddlers (aged 2 and 4). The Airline did not provide any compensation food or hotel vouchers immediately and i had to queue in separate locations (miss-informed a number of times) for a number of hours prior to being provided with Vouchers some 6 hours after landing (late) in Qatar. Whilst being in the queue's this left my wife to look after the Children alone in the Airport. The delay meant that we were 24 hours late returning to Melbourne which resulted in the additional costs of Childcare (2 days paid in advance and lost), annual leave (additional days were required) and pet care were required due to the delay.- Manchester-Melbourne

After we were already at the airport, we got an email that the flight to Helsinki was cancelled. We were eventually rebooked with another 3 hour layover in Copenhagen. The email said: Dear customer, Your flight AY1982 20.06.2025 Doha-Helsinki has been cancelled due to situation in the Middle East. We are sorry for the inconvenience. We are working on your new travel plan. You can see your new flight details at www.finnair.com/managebooking and in Finnair app, after your rebooking is ready. Please note that the availability of alternative flights is limited, so rebooking takes longer than usual. Thank you for your patience. Please contact our ground crew at the airport for any assistance. Passenger rights: https://www.finnair.com/fi-en/info/conditions-of-carriage-and-notices. Influence by other flights
we planned to arrive in the middle afternoon so we could acclimatise to the jet lag and get back to work and school homework the next day but we had a 7 hour delay and we only got home at 11pm so we screwed up that plan and it took us 4 days to get back into the time zone as a result of the huge delay , my husband missed work for 1.5 days as a result of this late arrival time- Edinburgh-Singapore

Influence by other flights
Our arrival time in Singapore was expected to be 15.45 in the afternoon with a 2 hour transit in Doha, because of the delays we had a 1.5 hour delay in the departure a 7h40min transit and a delay in reaching final destination at 20.54 in the evening. The airline advised us that the delay would impact our connection and would be forced to take a later flight. The airline provided no care or communication how they would help us for this inconvenience The seats on the connecting flight had been booked many weeks prior but now we had to separate the family as the airline would not accommodate us together on the new flight as most seats were taken. The whole reason to take this flight is the short connection because we have 2 young children and the additional travel time is a significant disturbance to the parents and children. The flight arrival time during daylight in the afternoon was specifically chosen to help with jet lag and was timed to collect our dog from family members. The delay meant we landed around 9pm and reached home around 11pm. This has a large knock on effect for the family to recover from the long flights and jet lag. I have work at 8am the following morning and the children take extra days to adjust to the new time zone since they cant exercise and get to bed at a reasonable time now.- Edinburgh-Singapore

Problems at airport
The flight from Manchester was delayed to apparently having no fuel across the whole airport but then we seemed to board and go without seeing any fuelers and all other flights were delayed. This delay mad us miss our connecting flight and we had to stay in Qatar until early hours the next day which made us lose a day in Bali.- Manchester-Denpasar

Baggage Damaged
My Celini bag handle was damaged (The main handle which retracts and is used to pull the bag). I logged a claim when arriving in Johannesburg and received an email today advising me that there would be a compensation of 28 USD - it would cost me way more than this to get a handle fixed on a celini suitcase, even a wheel costs more than the compensation that qatar has offered me. Very disappointed - I want the bag fixed by qatar or an adequate compensation granted for repair of the bag.- Economy

Initial flight from Manchester delayed therefore missed subsequent connecting flight from Doha to Kuala Lumpur. Had to wait another 7 hours in Doha for next available flight to Kuala Lumpur. Therefore arrived final destination approximately 11 hours later than initial expected time of arrival. Airline sent text message indicating the delay from Manchester prior to departure time, however we are still expected to check-in based on the initial flight time. Airline provided food vouchers at Manchester and Doha airports.- Manchester-Kuala Lumpur

Technical problems
My original plan was to arrive at my final destination the same day as my departure. However, once I reached Dublin Airport they told me that the flight was delayed by three hours departing at 11:10 instead of 8:15 am, they also told me that due to this delay I would miss my transit in Doha and would have to wait till the next day in order to get a flight to Abu Dhabi, my final destination. They did give us a 15 euro voucher to use inside the airport but that would barely buy you a coffee with the crazy prices in there. I had to wait in the airport for a total of 6 hours or so before we finally departed Dublin. In Doha, when we reached they told me that I would provide me with a hotel, as well as transport from the airport and back. However, because my passport required a visa I had to wait an extra hour or so while they processed a visa for me. The hotel was subpar at best, and they did provide food but only dinner, when it came to breakfast they only provided us with a cheese sandwich that would not cost more than 50 cents. The inconvenience this flight delay cost me was much more than I anticipated. My purpose for travel was for vacation and to attend a ceremony (wedding) that took place on the 29th and I couldn't even go because I was so tired from travelling for more than 24 hours. In the end I arrived at Abu Dhabi at 29th of May, 10:55 am 13 or more hours after the supposed time of arrival, and after a very tiring, sleepless night.- Dublin-Abu Dhabi

On checking in at LHR we were informed that the 1600 departure was delayed and Qatar Airlines would not include us on either the 1505 or 1530 departures to Doha. We were eventually put on the 2130 flight. This resulted in our eventual arrival in Denpasar at 2240 instead of the planned 1735. The captain told all passengers that the delay was due to the late arrival on the aircraft into LHR.- London-Denpasar

First connecting flight cancelled, second delayed
The Initial programmed flight PHC-SGN (VJ346 at 15:35), was cancelled (part of a full fare Qatar ticket PQC-SGN-DOH-CDG) A new flight PHC-SGN (VJ 1330 at 17:15) was booked by Qatar Airways. But it does not permit to catch the following flight QR 971 (SGN -DOH), that starts boarding at 19h. The flight VJ 1330 arrived late at SGN (19:02 on that date). The time needed to pick up the luggage from Terminal 3 and change, by bus, to Terminal 2, making the new check-in, and passing the passport and the RX controls requires at least 2 hours (we took 2 and a half hours). This means that the booked flight VJ 1330 implies to loose the following flight QR 971. For that reason we had to buy a new ticket PQC-SGN to anticipate our first flight to 14:40 (VN 7826)! This unexpected additional cost summed 428.80 USD, which we consider QATAR fault, because of its inadequate bookings.- Economy

I have reached out to : tell-us@qatarairways.com.qa 10 days ago and no answers at all. My 2 flights QR042 from Paris CDG to Doha / Doha to Denpasar have been cancelled. Initially the flight was at 9:05. They booked me on a new flight leaving at 16h25. Booking reference : QKRCQD Name: Candice Liliane Ben-Sadoun We embarked on the plane and waited for over 1 hour inside. Then had to disembark and go through customs, luggage pick up again and check in counter. A nightmare ! I had to queue with other people for hours before I got to get my new flight confirmation. I received a poor voucher of 15.00β¬ value that I can use at Mc Donald. Thatβs a joke. I demand to receive an indemnisation promptly. If I donβt hear from you I will go through a specialized service that will take care of this for me. Either way I have rights to get an monetary compensation for this nightmare of a travel.- Paris-Denpasar

Complaint Regarding Flight Cancellation and Lack of Support
Dear Qatar Airways Customer Service, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding an extremely distressing experience my family and I endured while traveling with Qatar Airways on Monday, 5th May 2025. My itinerary included the following flights: β’ AA4697, β’ AA8116, and β’ AA8304, From Indianapolis to Karachi The most troubling part of this journey occurred when our connecting Qatar Airways flight to Karachi was cancelled, leaving us stranded at Hamad International Airport, Doha for over 24 hours. I was traveling with my wife and our 1-year-old son, which made this situation even more difficult. Despite being stuck at the airport for an extended period, we were not provided with any accommodation, rest area, or even basic support. No clear communication was given, and none of the airline staff took responsibility to assist us in managing the situation. Our infant son fell ill during this time, suffering from a fever, and we had no access to proper care, milk, or even basic necessities. The distress and discomfort we went through are beyond explanation, and I am utterly disappointed at the lack of empathy, planning, and support shown by your staff at the airport. We expect a full investigation into this matter and request compensation for the hardship and inconvenience caused to my family. More importantly, I hope this letter urges your team to reconsider and improve your procedures for assisting passengers β especially families with young children β during flight disruptions. I look forward to your prompt response and resolution. Sincerely, Rashid Ayub +92 342 3730033 (Pakistan contact no.) +1 317 969 1035 (united states contact no.)- Economy

Because of the delay on QR0330 I missed the booked connecting flight QR1355, and was moved to QR1355 hence the 6 hour delay. Also as QR1363 was so full I was given a horrible middle seat, having been booked on a preferred economy seat originally, so had to use up air mile awards to access business class following the overnight wait in the airport. The airline had no interest in assisting me with my seating requests- London-Johannesburg

cancel orignal flight at montreal airport
There was a problem with obtaining the Visa for Iraq although we have Iraqi passport. They had to cancel our first tickets make us pay penalty and also pay for another ticket more expensive for the same boarding seats we had but this time with our Iraqi passport. So, we paid 1200$ in penalty + the new tickets more than 2500$ each!! Also, Qatar airways said we were a NO show, but we did board but on the Iraqi passport. We need a full refund for the first original tickets. Full refund with no penalty because we boarded on the plane and paid MORE for it :( we always fly with Qatar airways but if this doesn't get solved, we will no more!- Economy

QR1400 Complaint Regarding In-Flight Entertainment System
I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the in-flight experience I had on Qatar Airways flight number QR1400, traveling from Tunis to Doha, on seat 38D. Unfortunately, the in-flight entertainment screen at my seat was not functioning throughout the entire journey. I informed the cabin crew at the beginning of the flight, and although I was assured several times that the issue would be resolved, no action was taken, and the screen remained inoperative until landing. As a result, I was unable to enjoy any entertainment during the flight, which made the long journey quite uncomfortable and tedious. Given Qatar Airwaysβ strong reputation for high-quality service, this experience was disappointing and did not meet the expectations I had from a leading airline. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to hearing from you.

we did not get a specific seat for which we had paid
on entering the aircraft we expected to be seated together in seats which we had chosen and paid for. only one was available and I had been moved to a row in front in a middle seat. the person in my seat did not wish to move and claimed to have booked the seat, the stewardess just shrugged as that person was not willing and said a different aircraft had been used; but I fail to see how you can pay to reserve Seat 32K and Seat 32J to find one unavailable. My husband is an anxious traveller, so we prefer to travel together and as I have a history of DVTs. and have been prescribed life long medication, I always choose to sit at the sides where I can do my exercises more easily. My husband gave up his seat to sit in the middle row with me under these circumstances. I believe that we should be reimbursed as the service for which we had paid extra was not provided for and led to a less comfortable and more anxious experience which your staff seemed both disinclined and disinterested to resolve.- Economy

Complaint Regarding Denial of Complimentary Transit Accommod
Dear Qatar Airways Customer Service, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the denial of complimentary transit accommodation during my recent journey with Qatar Airways. My flight itinerary was as follows: β’ Booking Reference: PNAYUD β’ Flight Number: QR6121 β’ Date of Travel: 9 April 2025 β’ Route: Helsinki to Tehran via Doha β’ Layover Duration in Doha: 18 hours According to Qatar Airwaysβ policy, passengers with a transit time between 8 and 24 hours, without immediate connections, may be eligible for complimentary hotel accommodation. My layover in Doha exceeded 8 hours. Although there was an earlier connecting flight, I was unable to change my ticket to that flight because check-in had already closed. Despite this, I was informed that I was not eligible for the complimentary accommodation. I adhered to all stipulated guidelines and was disappointed by the refusal of this service, which caused significant inconvenience during my layover. I kindly request a thorough review of my case and an explanation for the denial of the complimentary transit accommodation. Additionally, I would appreciate information on any compensation or remedial measures Qatar Airways can provide in light of this experience. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response.- Economy

Delay in flight from doaha to cochin
Dear Qatar Airways Customer Support, I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding a significant issue I experienced with my recent booking (PNR: OPQGGK) on your airline. I had a confirmed two-way ticket from SkellefteΓ₯, Sweden to Kochi, India, and back. One of the main reasons I chose Qatar Airways over several cheaper alternatives was your reputation for providing high-quality service, comfort, shorter travel times, and a smooth overall travel experience. Even though the price was considerably higher, I trusted that it would be worth it for a hassle-free journey. Unfortunately, what I experienced was the opposite. I was not informed by email, SMS, or phone call about a major change in the flight schedule for the Stockholm to Doha and Doha to Kochi segments. I only found out about these changes when I proactively called Qatar Airways customer care for check-in-related queries shortly before departure. This lack of prior notification caused considerable anxiety and forced me to make last-minute adjustments to my travel plans. Adding to the disappointment, I was surprised to learn that my final leg from Doha to Kochi (QR4782) was operated by Indigo Airlines, which was not mentioned at the time of booking. The experience was well below the standard expected from Qatar Airways β there were no meals provided, no in-flight entertainment, and no screens or amenities that your airline is known for. After a long journey, this segment felt extremely tiring, uncomfortable, and frankly, disappointing. To make matters worse, the overall travel time ended up being nearly 30 hours, significantly longer than what was originally planned and one of the key reasons I had avoided other airlines in the first place. Here are the key concerns: No notification was sent about the flight change via email, SMS, or phone. The change to QR4782, departing at 08:35 on 7th April 2025, replacing the originally scheduled QR514 at 01:45 AM, was only discovered through my own inquiry. The segment from Doha to Kochi was unexpectedly operated by Indigo, with no meals, no entertainment, and a much lower service standard. The total travel time was extended to nearly 30 hours, which is unacceptable for a premium ticket. All of this stands in sharp contrast to the higher fare I paid, expecting a smoother and more comfortable journey with Qatar Airways. I kindly request: An official explanation as to why no communication was made regarding the changes. Compensation in line with Qatar Airways' policies and any applicable passenger rights regulations. Attached are all relevant booking confirmations and updated ticket details for your reference. Please acknowledge this email and advise on the next steps. I truly hope Qatar Airways will take this matter seriously and ensure such lapses are avoided in the future β both for myself and other passengers who rely on your airline for a reliable travel experience. Zamzam water
Complaint Regarding Unjust Confiscation of Zamzam Water at Taif Airport I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the treatment received by passengers at Taif Airport today, April 5th, 2025, around 10 AM, including myself and fellow travelers headed to Kenya from Umrah. It was with great shock and frustration that we were informed that all Zamzam water, which is traditionally carried by travelers as a sacred gift from the Umrah pilgrimage, was confiscated without any clear explanation. We were left in the dark, with no official communication regarding why this was happening. The airport officials handling the situation were notably rude and dismissive, further adding to the distress of an already confusing situation. The confiscation of Zamzam water as a personal gift, without any clear justification or prior communication of such regulations, is deeply troubling. This practice is not only a part of our tradition but also a cherished item for many pilgrims. The lack of transparency and unprofessional conduct from the airport staff is unacceptable. I kindly request that the relevant authorities clarify this matter and provide a formal explanation as to why such a decision was made, and why travelers were subjected to such harassment. I also urge the airport authorities to investigate the behavior of the staff involved in this unfortunate incident. I trust that this issue will be addressed promptly and that proper measures will be taken to ensure this does not happen again in the future. Approximate loss incured by the travellers on flight no QR 1207 is more than 80litres priced at 15 saudi riyal per 5liters. Note: the same airport authority sold us the same zamzam water and claiming ours bought from makkah jeopdazing safety of the flight Sincerely,- Economy

Boarding was supposed to start at 16:40 on the 2nd of August, 1h before actual departure. The crew at the gates said the boarding will start soon, yet at 5pm the screen at the gate changed to "New information 18:00" and announcement stated that there will be a delay (of unknown time). Then every time the time of "new information" came, it was changed for another 30min. That was going on until 20:30 when they finally announced that the flight is cancelled. After picking up the luggage we spent another 2h waiting to check-in gates only to confirm phone number and be told to wait for further info- Warsaw-Singapore

Harassment and Misconduct by Qatar Airways Staffs
Unacceptable treatment my husband and I experienced at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (Dhaka) on March 6, 2025, while traveling on flight QR639 (DhakaβDoha) at 03:20 BD time. We have been frequent travelers with Qatar Airways, but after this distressing experience, we are reconsidering our association with the airline. The behavior of your staff, particularly Sheikh Ahsanul Haque (Anis) and Duty Manager Mahfuz, was not only unprofessional but also amounted to harassment and intimidation. Incident Details: We arrived at the airport well in advance, with approximately 2.5 hours before our flight. Upon reaching the baggage drop counter, we were informed that we had a few extra kilos in our cabin luggage and would need to pay an additional fee. β’ When we attempted to pay using an international MasterCard, the employee at the counter took my card without explanation and held it for nearly 10 minutes before returning to inform us that the transaction had failed. β’ My husband then offered his card, which was also taken without our consent, and we were again made to wait another 15 minutes without any update. β’ Concerned by the delay and lack of communication, we approached the counter where the payment was being processed. The staff member in charge, identified as Sheikh Ahsanul Haque (Anis), was extremely rude, aggressive, and dismissive when we inquired about the issue. Despite showing proof via our banking apps that our cards were active and functional (having been used earlier that same day), Mr. Haque insisted that our cards were βuselessβ and refused to allow us to board unless we paid in cash. This demand was unreasonable, as most international travelers do not carry large sums of local currency when leaving the country. Escalation and Harassment: β’ When my husband offered to demonstrate that the cards were working by making a transaction at a nearby airport shop, Mr. Anis angrily refused and threatened to call security if we did not comply with his demand for cash. He even told us he can take pictures of our cards if he wants, when we told him he canβt hold our cards in our absence as they contain CVC on them. β’ With no other option, my husband was forced to leave the airport premises with a Qatar Airways staff member to withdraw money from an ATM outside. This confirmed that there was no issue with our cardsβinstead, the problem likely lay with Qatar Airwaysβ payment gateway. β’ While I waited alone, Mr. Anis, along with four other staff members and two security officers, openly mocked and insulted me, calling us βstupidβ for holding cards that βdonβt work.β When I asked one of the employees why heβs gathering people and openly sharing something that supposed to be between Qatar Airways and us, he denied the situation. β’ An employee attempted to provide a fake name when I requested details for a complaint β’ Upon my husbandβs return with the cash, we proceeded to boarding, where we were met again by Mr. Anis, several security personnel, and Duty Manager Mahfuz, who pressured us to drop the complaint. When we refused, Duty Manager Mahfuz threatened that he had the authority to deny us boarding if we continued to raise concerns. β’ One of the security members identified as Rasel was called by Mr. Anis, who tried to solve the issue there when he learnt that I noted the names and positions to take official actions. This ordeal lasted over 2.5 hours, during which we were subjected to intimidation, humiliation, and unnecessary distress. Our Demands: We strongly believe that no passenger should be subjected to such misconduct and harassment from airline staff. We demand the following actions from Qatar Airways: 1. A formal apology from the airline for the mistreatment and distress caused. 2. A thorough investigation into the behavior of Sheikh Ahsanul Haque (Anis) and Duty Manager Mahfuz. 3. Clear accountability measures, including disciplinary action against staff members who mistreated us. 4. Clarification on why our international cards were not accepted despite being active and working elsewhere. 5. Assurance that Qatar Airways staff at Dhaka Airport will receive proper training on customer service, payment processing, and conflict resolution to prevent similar incidents in the future. 6. Want to see what actions you take and want to stay updated on it. This is not something to let go, I will Constantly follow up. Things has to change for good, itβs not just a singular incident. We paid for a premium service and were instead met with hostility and disrespect.- Economy

unpleasant treated from one of lady in the boarding gate
Hi Team this morning I returned to Indonesia via Hamad International Airport DOH-CGK 954 Monday 08:55am I experienced unpleasant treatment from a woman who was in charge in the Boarding area.. she was standing in front of a laptop and holding a cell phone, I approached her to ask something. At that time I was waiting for the Queue Zone 3 call, by mistake my ticket was cut, I was just worried whether the gate attendant would be able to read my barcode ticket. I approached her and said excuse me miss.. She did not respond and kept holding her cell phone and facing the laptop, I repeated excuse me miss I want to askβ¦ and she answered very rudely for a moment!! I am busy this is more important!!β¦. and I was very shocked and left without saying a wordβ¦ how could the ground crew shout at me? while I use this airline is not cheap, the airline that is said to be the best in the world for its service and hospitality. it seems she is a Filipino with a slightly chubby and short statureβ¦ I have a photo of her to attach here

No reason given
Due to the delay of the flight Nice - Doha (QR56), I missed my connection (QR970) in Doha so I was rebooked on the flight Doha - Ho Chi Minh of the next day (26/07/2024), resulting in a final delay of over 24 hours (arrival in Ho Chi Minh on 26 July 2024 around 14.00 pm, instead of 25 July 13.40 pm. Booking reference was WEYOAJ, and e-ticket number 157-2115711359 (original the return flight was booked as Vienna-Ho Chi Minh, later I changed the ticket for the return flight to Nice - Ho Chi Minh )- Nice-Ho Chi Minh City
