I was unable to contact them as only bot available. The airline charges a £15 fee for calls to customer services which is unacceptable.

Malta-Katowice

Economy

Over a month ago, during Easter, I traveled to Malta. I went there and it was really good. However, when I was coming back, I had an issue with my flight. The flight was scheduled for the morning, and I was one of the last people boarding the plane. The night before the flight — actually, even the day before — I had already checked in, received my boarding pass, and everything was fine. Later that night, I checked how much it would cost to extend my flight by one day. I only checked the fare, but I realized it was too expensive, so I didn’t make any changes. I simply exited the page, and my ticket and boarding pass were still there. On the app, there was still a green check mark showing that I was checked in. Anyway, on the day of the flight, I went to the airport. I entered through the electronic gate where you scan the QR code from your boarding pass. I went through duty-free and even bought things using my boarding pass. Everything seemed completely normal. Even the Wizz Air app showed that everything was fine. However, when I reached the boarding gate, I was denied boarding because apparently I had “checked myself out” of the flight. The problem is that there is no such feature on Wizz Air where passengers can check themselves out. A Wizz Air employee later told me that the only way to be checked out of a flight is by calling Wizz Air directly and requesting it yourself, which I never did. Despite this, they still denied me boarding. On top of that, the service at the boarding gate was extremely bad. The employee there even started lying to her supervisor, claiming that I had admitted to accidentally checking myself out, even though I repeatedly said that I never did. Anyway, I was denied boarding. They were also supposed to give me a denied boarding form, but they never did. At the time, I didn’t even know such a form existed. As a result, I had to book another flight that same night for €180. That was on top of the €60 I had already paid for my original flight from Malta to Poland, bringing the total flight cost to €240. This does not even include the extra money I spent that day on Ubers, food, and other expenses because I had to stay longer. I eventually took the new flight back to Poland, and when I returned on the 6th of April, I filed a claim with Wizz Air. When I filed the claim, I explained the entire situation. One of the employees — and I still have a recording of this conversation — told me that the situation was actually worse than a standard denied boarding case, especially because they had failed to provide me with a denied boarding form. She said the situation was really bad, took detailed notes after listening to my story, and filed the claim herself on my behalf. According to Wizz Air’s regulations, claims are supposed to receive a response within 7 to 30 days. Thirty days is the absolute maximum. They could reply within a week or 10 days, but 30 days is the limit. I filed the claim on the 6th of April. Now it is already the 8th or 9th of May, and I still have not received any response at all. For the past week, I have been calling them constantly, asking why it has been over a month without any update. Every time, they tell me the same thing: that it is not their responsibility because the claim department handles it. They say they will leave a note for the agent working on my case and that I should receive an email later that day. Of course, no one ever replies. Sometimes they also tell me things like, “We are really sorry, please call us again in one hour and you should receive a reply by then.” Then I call back an hour later, and the next agent tells me that the previous agent gave me incorrect information. For example, yesterday I called them again, explained the entire situation, and told them that I was fed up and wanted a proper response. The agent told me that he would request a manager callback and that a manager would contact me within 24 hours. Twenty-four hours later, I still had not received any call, exactly as expected. So I called them again, and this time another agent told me that the previous employee was wrong and that there is actually no such thing as a “manager callback.” At that point, I became frustrated and told him that I no longer knew who to believe, because every employee gives me different information. I told him that this entire situation made no sense, that I was treated badly at the airport, that their own regulations clearly state a response time of 7 to 30 days, and that I was considering taking this issue to social media. While I was speaking, he interrupted me and said he was going to end the call because it was “not his responsibility.” Then he ended the call without even letting me finish explaining the situation. And now I am stuck here, waiting for a refund and compensation while they continue to ignore me completely.

Terrible service and everything else

We have a big problem. I recently flew with Wizzair. All the baggage rules were followed, but the employee at Chisinau Airport who checked my luggage complained that my small suitcase didn't meet the requirements—specifically, it was just 2 cm wider than it should have been. Just think about it, 2 cm WIDDER. It's completely absurd. And this same employee fined me a whopping 70 euros—that was the last of my pension. This employee has a long history of rude behavior, completely inappropriate and unacceptable behavior not only with me but with many other passengers. The fact that there are no lockers at the airport and nowhere to store extra luggage makes this fine even more unfair. Essentially, I'm demanding a refund for this money, which is what they forced me to do. Paying for nothing, completely unfairly for this nonsense. Your company, so you should compensate me for this damage. In all my years of flying, I've never encountered such outrageous behavior. I'm attaching photographic evidence to this letter. And the most important thing is that your airline employees broke my suitcase, which cost me 120 euros.

Complaint regarding unjustified hand luggage fee – El Prat Airport Barcelona

Dear Sir/Madam, My name is Natea Florina Mihaela, and I would like to file a formal complaint regarding a charge that I consider unjustified, as well as the inappropriate behavior of staff during my boarding process on a Wizz Air flight. On 04.05.2025, at the airport, I was charged €73 for a small personal purse containing only essential personal items (lipstick, ID card, and passport). I would like to emphasize that this item qualifies as a personal item and should not be considered additional hand luggage. Furthermore, I would like to report that the staff handling the boarding process behaved in an unprofessional and impolite manner. I was not given the opportunity to place the small purse inside my backpack, even though it clearly fit and would have complied with the baggage policy. This refusal directly led to the unjustified charge. I have traveled frequently by air and have always carried the same small purse without any issues, which makes this situation even more concerning and inconsistent. I believe that: - The fee was applied incorrectly; - I was not given a fair opportunity to comply with the baggage rules; - The staff’s attitude and lack of cooperation contributed to this situation. Therefore, I kindly request: - A full refund of the €73 charged; - A review of the staff’s conduct in this situation; - Clarification of the baggage policy to prevent similar incidents in the future. I am prepared to provide supporting documents (boarding pass, proof of payment, etc.) upon request. I look forward to your prompt response. Thank you for your attention.

completed online check-in within the required time using the Wizz Air app. The system showed that check-in was successfully completed, however no boarding pass was generated due to an apparent application error. I contacted customer support and was informed that this would not be an issue and that I could proceed to the airport. At the airport, I was informed that I was not checked in and was required to pay 27,000 AMD for airport check-in. I believe this charge is unjustified, as I followed the correct procedure and the failure was due to a technical issue in your system. I kindly request a refund of the airport check-in fee.

Complaint Regarding Denied Boarding and Staff Misconduct – Venice Airport

Subject: Complaint Regarding Denied Boarding and Staff Misconduct – Venice Airport Dear Wizz Air Customer Relations, I am writing to formally complain about my experience at Venice Airport regarding flight [W46727] scheduled at 19:15 on [Tue 7 April]. I arrived at the airport at approximately 18:00, well before the departure time. Prior to arriving, I attempted to complete my online check-in, but I faced an issue with account verification. Although I received verification emails from Wizz Air, there was no working verification link, which prevented me from completing the process online. Due to this issue, I went to the check-in desk for assistance. I was not carrying any luggage, and the process should have been straightforward. When it was my turn, the staff member asked for my passport and informed me that I needed to pay approximately £40 for manual check-in. I was willing to pay this fee and simply explained the issue I had faced with the online verification. However, the staff member responded in a rude and unprofessional manner. She refused to assist me and stated that she would not allow me to board. She then incorrectly claimed that I was late, despite the fact that she had just checked in the passenger immediately before me. I respectfully explained that I had arrived on time and requested her assistance multiple times, but she refused to listen and dismissed my situation. She then spoke to a colleague in another language and informed me that I would not be allowed to travel. Additionally, she threatened to call the police while I was calmly requesting help. As a result of this refusal, I was forced to book another flight at my own expense, costing me £198, and I arrived at my destination three hours late. This caused me significant inconvenience and financial loss, despite the fact that I had arrived at the airport in good time and was willing to comply with all requirements. I believe this situation was handled unfairly and unprofessionally. The issue originated from a technical problem with your system, and the staff member’s behavior escalated the situation unnecessarily. I kindly request: - A full refund of £198 for the additional flight I was forced to purchase - An investigation into the conduct of the staff member involved - An explanation as to why I was denied boarding despite arriving before departure time I am attaching the screenshots of emails that i received from wizz air while i was trying to make check in online but i couldn’t and a screenshot of transaction that i made to book the new ticket. I look forward to your response and a fair resolution to this matter. No reason given

The flight was cancelled by Wizz Air with only one day’s notice and no alternative flight was offered. I submitted a claim to Wizz Air and provided all requested documents. However, I was asked to provide a boarding pass with a QR code for the replacement flight. The boarding pass was issued in paper form (not an electronic ticket), and I discarded it after the flight. Instead, I provided proof of purchase of the replacement flight (invoice). On 25/09/2025, I was informed that Wizz Air considers the case closed, while indicating that the claim could be reconsidered if the previously requested documentation were provided. The claim was marked as resolved on the website. On 18/11/2025, I submitted an official confirmation from the airline (El Al) confirming that I boarded the replacement flight, as referenced in the invoice previously provided. On 18/12/2025, I received an email confirming that my case had been merged and reopened for further handling. Since then, I have sent four follow-up emails and received no response. All correspondence has been attached. I also contacted Wizz Air via live chat, where I was informed that a reminder would be sent to Customer Relations, but no follow-up was ever received. The situation has caused significant inconvenience and unnecessary stress. I have been dealing with this matter for over seven months, investing considerable time and effort without receiving any resolution or response. This has resulted in ongoing frustration and loss of time. As a returning customer of Wizz Air, I expected a more efficient and responsive handling of my case.

Problems at airport

Dear AirAdvisor Team, I am writing to submit a formal complaint and compensation claim concerning Wizz Air flight W61030 from Funchal (FNC) to Katowice (KTW) operated on 05 March 2026. The scheduled arrival time of the flight was 12:15. However, the aircraft arrived at 18:25, resulting in a delay of more than 6 hours. The delay was not caused by extraordinary circumstances. The destination airport in Katowice was operating normally at the time of arrival. The delay resulted from improper operational and traffic management on the part of Wizz Air. Furthermore, due to incorrect crew and schedule management by Wizz Air, the aircraft was forced to land in Lisbon, where passengers were required to wait for arriving personnel for more than 3 hours before the flight could continue. This situation was entirely within the airline’s control. As a direct consequence of the excessive delay and prolonged waiting time, I suffered serious health issues. After arrival, I required medical assistance and visited a doctor. My illness lasted for more than 7 days, causing significant physical discomfort and personal distress. Taking all of the above circumstances into account, I hereby request financial compensation in the amount of 8,000 PLN to cover the disruption, health consequences, and damages suffered as a result of this delay. This claim is made in addition to my rights under Regulation (EC) No 261/2004, and I reserve all further rights available under applicable EU and national law. Passenger details: Full name: Artur Abramowicz Flight number: W61030 Date of flight: 05.03.2026 Route: Funchal (FNC) – Katowice (KTW) Please confirm receipt of this complaint and inform me of the next steps in the handling of my claim. Formal complaint about extremely rude and disrespectful staff at baggage check

We were treated very badly at the baggage check. Our bags fully complied with Wizz Air’s size requirements, but the flight attendants were extremely rude. We also had a small bag with us, which is allowed by Wizz Air, yet they forced us to put it inside our backpack. While trying to do this, my friend hurt herself quite badly, and the flight attendants even insulted us. I am also attaching photos of my friend’s injuries. We were at the airport at 6:30 PM on April 6.

Kind regards, Wizz Air Customer Service iata si mesajul expediat de mine catre wizz via e-mail dupa ce formularul online a dat erori in ciuda a nenumarate incercari Dear Wizz Air Customer Relations Team, I am writing to formally submit an EC261 compensation claim regarding the cancellation of flight W6 3051 on 5 April 2023, from Bucharest (OTP) to Paris (BVA). Passenger Details (3 tickets): • Valentin-Ionut Petcu • Luca Petcu Lucescu (minor at the time) • David Petcu Lucescu (minor at the time) I, Valentin Petcu, am the father and legal guardian of the two minor children mentioned above, and I personally accompanied them during this trip, which was also part of a personal trip, my small son David, celebrates his birthday on April 6th and it was supposed to be a surprise also in the context of Easter. The cancellation of the flight caused significant disruption to our plans. This was the first and only time I have ever purchased airline tickets directly from the Wizz Air website. Normally, I rely on professional travel agencies, as they provide more reliability and support, but also due to my busy agenda. I used a lot Wizz Air services both as personal but also business trips and I was always happy with the outcome and travel experience. Unfortunately, this one has been unexpectedly difficult, both in terms of the flight cancellation and the subsequent efforts to file a claim. Not to mention the reason of canceling – and interval mistake of the company that was acknowledged via the attach e-mail but not in due time – but rather the very last minute. Initially I was under the impression that it can be a sort of April Fools' joke / prank but it was not the case. So shortly upon receiving the cancellation notice, we were forced to purchase last minute TAROM tickets in order to reach our destination and avoid losing several prepaid reservations, including hotel accommodation, Disneyland tickets, and other scheduled activities. In accordance with EU Regulation EC261, passengers are entitled to compensation and reimbursement when a flight is cancelled, and airlines are required to provide clear information on passenger rights. Additionally, the regulation specifies the need to gather and submit documentation such as booking confirmations, cancellation notices, and receipts for additional costs. The fixed compensation for cancellations on routes between 1,500–3,500 km—such as Bucharest to Paris—is €400 per passenger. Based on this, I kindly request: 1. EC261 Compensation €400 per person × 3 passengers = €1,200 2. Reimbursement of Additional Expenses • Replacement TAROM tickets (proof attached) • Any other costs incurred as a direct result of the cancellation 3. Refund of the Original Wizz Air Tickets – if needed I can provide an account or a card number for the reimbursement Important Note – Claim Form Not Working I have attempted multiple times to submit this claim through the official Wizz Air online claim form, but the system consistently returns an error and does not recognize the booking details. As recommended in passenger guidance, claims may be submitted directly to the airline via customer service channels when online submission is not functional. For transparency, I am prepared to attach a screenshot proving the malfunction of the claim form. I would also like to note that despite this incident, I have flown with Wizz Air again since then, and the experience has been positive, which is why I am confident this situation can also be resolved in a fair and professional manner. However, should I not receive a response and a satisfactory resolution within a reasonable timeframe, I will be obliged—respectfully—to escalate the matter through ANPC Romania and any other formal channels available for passenger rights enforcement. My intention is simply to exercise the rights provided to passengers under European law, and I trust this step will not be necessary. All relevant documents are attached, including the flight confirmation, cancellation notification from Wizz – but I believe that the situation is rather clear, receipts for replacement flights and boarding tickets from TAROM. I kindly request that this claim be reviewed and processed in compliance with the obligations established under EC261. I look forward to receiving a written response as required by EU passenger rights. Thank you for your assistance and support. Kind regards, Valentin-Ionut Petcu GSM: 0040723361812

Formal Complaint – Disruptive Conduct, Unjustified Fine, Carry-On Restrictions, and Safety Concerns

Dear Wizz Air Customer Service, I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding my recent experience on a Wizz Air flight. Firstly, I was not allowed to hold my laptop in my hand during boarding, which caused unnecessary inconvenience. To my understanding, passengers are generally permitted to carry personal electronic devices such as laptops in hand, so this restriction was confusing and not properly explained. Additionally, I was challenged for placing my PlayStation controller in my duty-free bag. The staff member stated that “personal items” are not allowed inside duty-free bags, even though the controller was simply placed on top of the duty-free items. I initially complied with the instruction; however, after I paid the fine, the controller remained in the duty-free bag, which suggests inconsistency in the enforcement of this rule. I was issued a fine on the basis that my bag was too large. However, I have used this same bag on multiple previous flights without any issues. It is important to note that my bag had been dismantled during security screening, and the zipper was damaged in the process, which may have caused it to lose its proper shape and appear larger than usual. This context was not taken into consideration by staff. Furthermore, the way the fine was communicated was unclear and not transparent. At no point was it properly explained that the total amount included both a baggage fee and an airport-related charge. Instead, I was only told the full amount to pay, without a clear breakdown or justification. This lack of transparency is not acceptable and left me confused about the charges I was facing. More concerning was the conduct of a staff member who approached me while I was on an important call with a family member. The staff member initially spoke to me in Polish, which I do not understand, and only switched to English after I indicated this. The interruption itself felt unnecessary and disrespectful. Passengers should not be disturbed without good reason, especially during personal matters. I also felt that I may have been unfairly singled out. As a younger passenger travelling alone, I could not help but feel I was treated as an easy target for enforcement, which is deeply concerning. Furthermore, the shuttle bus used to transport passengers to the aircraft was extremely overcrowded. Many passengers, including myself, had no secure place to hold on, creating a real risk of falling or injury. This situation was unsafe and unacceptable. Cost-cutting measures should never compromise passenger safety. Overall, I found this experience highly disrespectful and below acceptable standards of customer care and safety. I request a clear explanation regarding: The enforcement and inconsistency of the laptop and duty-free item restrictions The justification for the fine issued for my bag The lack of transparency regarding the breakdown of the charges applied The conduct of the staff member involved The unsafe overcrowding on the shuttle bus Given the circumstances, I request that the fine be reviewed and fully refunded.

“Flight delay causing missed connection

Dear Wizz Air, I am writing to submit a complaint regarding my recent flight from Tirana to Athens. My flight was originally scheduled to depart at 06:50, but it was delayed until 09:10. Due to this delay, I was unable to catch my onward flight from Athens to Marseille, which was scheduled at 11:15 with another airline. As a result, I have suffered inconvenience and additional costs due to the missed connection. Even though the delay was under 3 hours, it directly caused me to miss my next flight. Therefore, I kindly request you to review my case and consider providing compensation or a goodwill voucher. I would appreciate your understanding and a fair resolution to this matter. Thank you in advance for your attention Edison Gashi flay JP7JXD

Connecting flight unreachable but no refund

I did not cancel this flight voluntarily. The cancellation of the Sharm El Sheikh → Budapest flight made it impossible for me to reach Budapest and take the connecting flight. Therefore, this is not a voluntary cancellation, but a consequence of the airline’s cancellation. However, I don't receive any refund for the flight from Budapest to Lisbon.

flight was delayed and then cancelled. Pilot talked about a cargo door being frozen, and then we heard rumours when it got unfrozen the pilot wouldve clocked too many hours when arriving in CRL, thats why they cancelled it. We only departed the next day. The airline provided a hotel. We had to pay transportation ourselves(cash, around €15 in total) the incident inconvenienced me because I had to plan an extra holiday for work. An unpaid day of leave would lose me around €100.

Claim escalated to airline

As you can see I dropped off my bag very punctually. I went through security, no problem. Then went to the gate straight. There was already a big queue at 8:30, boarding and pass-control was very slow. Only two police officers at gate 03 for passport control. It became later and later. Scheduled departure 9:55 but at 10:15 there were still around 30-40 people waiting including me. Then suddenly control was stopped, I heard that the gate is now closed because the pilot gave the order to start departure so noone was allowed to enter anymore although it was not clear whether it was overbooked or similar. It is more possible that, what I heard, the flight was already too much delayed. Then push back began and we were left behind without any information, any documents or any support from the airline. Some people were really angry and loud but still relaxed. I now hope that I will just get my money back (111€ and/or compensation according to EU law (250€)!!! For sure it was not our fault or mine because we and me were just standing in line waiting.

Strike

My original flight from Sofia to Naples was scheduled for December 17th at 12:35. However, the flight was cancelled one day prior to departure. As a result, I had to rebook an alternative flight to Rome (FCO) on the evening of the same day. When I arrived at the airport, this rebooked flight was delayed by approximately three hours, which caused additional waiting time at the airport. The alternative flight arrived in Rome (FCO) around midnight. Due to the late arrival time, there was no onward transportation available to Naples (neither trains nor buses) during the night. Consequently, I was forced to stay overnight in Rome and arrange transportation from the airport before continuing my journey to Naples the following morning. Because of this disruption, I incurred several additional losses. I had already booked accommodation in Naples that could not be cancelled, and therefore I lost that reservation. In addition, I lost train tickets for transportation within the Naples region that had been purchased in advance. These costs and inconveniences were a direct consequence of the flight cancellation and the subsequent delay of the rebooked flight. Additionally, I attempted to contact the airline directly to resolve this issue and submit my claim. However, after my initial communication, I did not receive any further response from the airline. As evidence of this attempt, I have attached a PDF file containing a printout of the email correspondence from Gmail showing my efforts to contact the airline and request assistance. This document is included with my compensation claim for your reference.

Case Summary & Background: I am submitting this claim because Wizz Air failed to take "all reasonable measures" to prevent a delay of 3 hours and 44 minutes, in violation of Regulation (EC) 261/2004. I have already escalated this to the Bulgarian Civil Aviation Administration (DG CAA). The CAA rejected my claim (Case Ref: 51-03-61/12.01.2026) stating that the assigned aircraft (Registration: 9H-WDO) suffered a lightning strike on the previous day (Jan 6th) during a flight from Tirana to Sofia, requiring overnight inspections. The aircraft was declared ready at 03:26 AM on Jan 7th. My Legal Argument (Why Wizz Air is still liable): While a lightning strike is an extraordinary circumstance, Wizz Air failed the "reasonable measures" test to mitigate the delay for my flight: Pre-Planning & Ample Notice: I received an automated SMS from Wizz Air at 00:18 AM on Jan 7th notifying me of the delay. This proves the airline knew about the aircraft's grounding at least 6.5 hours before my scheduled 06:40 AM departure (and 9 hours before my actual departure). Sofia is a Wizz Air Base: Sofia (SOF) is a major operational base for Wizz Air with multiple aircraft stationed there. Other Wizz Air flights (e.g., W6 4449 to Prague and W6 4453 to Krakow) departed SOF on time that morning. Failure to Swap Aircraft: Despite having over 6 hours of notice and being at one of their own bases, Wizz Air made no attempt to re-route or swap the grounded aircraft for a spare/functional one. They simply forced passengers to wait for the repairs on 9H-WDO to finish. The Knock-On Weather Effect: Because Wizz Air failed to swap the aircraft, we departed Sofia 2.5 hours late. This caused us to miss our scheduled arrival slot in Eindhoven (08:25). At 08:25, Eindhoven weather was clear (10km+ visibility) and other flights landed perfectly (e.g., Ryanair FR2534 landed at 08:33). Because of Wizz Air's initial operational delay, we arrived at EIN later in the morning when a snowstorm had hit, forcing us to circle in holding patterns and extending the delay past the 3-hour compensation threshold. Conclusion: The extraordinary circumstance (lightning) occurred on a preceding flight. With ample hours of notice at a major hub, a reasonably operating airline would have utilized a replacement aircraft. Wizz Air chose the most operationally convenient (but passenger-penalizing) route. I am seeking your legal representation to challenge their refusal to pay the €400 compensation.

I bought a ticket with extra legroom, which you took my money from and only returned it after confirming the assistance service... after finding out that I have a broken leg, you told me that I need another ticket, which I bought, but during the purchase of the ticket, your application got stuck as usual and showed me the transaction as invalid, I bought another ticket with the option to cancel... of course after buying another ticket in the third row, you withdrew from my account for both tickets, at that moment I had a third ticket where I paid extra for the cancellation option and immediately had it canceled, where you refused to confirm, because the cancellation was made through your very bad and dysfunctional application, that the third ticket remained canceled, the only thing I did to Italy is that you have 3 months to refund the money... three months have passed and I have not received a single crown and instead I see that you gave me some of your points instead of 160€ it's only 130€ in your app which I never intend to use again in my life and I never want to use your airline after these racist, discriminatory and neo-fascist experiences....I'm asking for a refund for the last ticket where there was additional insurance for cancellation and I don't want any of your points or other nonsense that I won't use, I want my money

bluecheck Other - I highly, highly recommend not using Wizzair airlines because it is a very bad company that lies and robs its customers... it uses a poor-quality application that often fails when purchasing a ticket and is paid for and misleads the customer into purchasing another ticket because it will lie to him that the purchase failed, after purchasing another one they will rob you of both without the possibility of a refund, even if the customer purchased the cancellation option at an additional cost.... it is possible to cancel a ticket for Wizzair airline company 50-60% of the given amount, to use as a so-called credit in their company, so they will not refund you a single cent... On the other hand, Wizzair company makes any help to its clients very complicated in terms of assistance service, and they do not let their injured client walk several kilometers on crutches through the airport.... I am attaching a photo of the purchased ticket with the cancellation option, which has not been refunded to this day, I am attaching a photo of the so-called compensation which I don't want and was forced on me, and also a short video of how I had to walk next to the assistance service on crutches because Wizzair refused to confirm my assistance several times (I can send you an additional video) I want my money, I will never use your neo-fascist company again!

The affected flight was W62358 from Abu Dhabi to Budapest, scheduled to depart on 18 February at 22:30 and arrive on 19 February at 01:35. The following issues occurred: 1. Passengers were directed into a restricted waiting area at the airport for approximately two hours, from which they could no longer access Duty Free shops or any catering facilities. 2. During this time, we were informed that catering would likely not be available onboard, as food and beverages had reportedly not been loaded onto the aircraft. We were asked whether we still wished to travel under these circumstances. 3. After boarding and departure, the aircraft made an unscheduled landing in Athens for refuelling. 4. Instead of the scheduled arrival time of 01:35, the aircraft landed after 06:00 in the morning, resulting in a delay exceeding five hours. 5. Throughout the entire delay and extended journey, passengers were provided with no care or assistance. They did not receive even a glass of water, nor any food or refreshments at any point.

At the airport check-in counter, the airline staff refused to check us in on the grounds that we did not hold a Saudi visa. I clearly explained to the staff that, according to the official entry requirements, holders of valid Schengen residence permits are eligible to obtain a visa on arrival in Saudi Arabia. I showed them the official requirements via Sherpa (the travel requirements verification system used by airlines), confirming our eligibility. Despite this, the staff refused boarding without providing a written explanation or verifying the information further. As a direct consequence of this refusal: We missed our confirmed flight We had to book alternative tickets We incurred additional hotel and related expenses We suffered significant financial loss and distress I believe this constitutes denied boarding against our will under Regulation (EC) 261/2004, and that we may be entitled to compensation in addition to reimbursement of our documented expenses. I kindly request your assessment of the case and representation to pursue compensation and reimbursement from the airline

It was Christmas and I was supposed to be back in time to celebrate with my family, however I completely missed it because we landed in Skopje at around 10:30-11 PM.
