  1. Verify that the booking information the system pulls up is correct, and click continue.
  2. You’ll be provided with your refund eligibility and other options. Click continue after making your selection.
  3. Review the details of your request to make sure it’s accurate, including the reason for the refund. You can also upload any applicable documentation.
  4. Click submit and wait for your funds to be returned.

Using Your Account

If you have an AA account, you can also manage your trip here. That means you can cancel a flight and request a refund. Find the applicable flight in “My Trips” and follow the instructions if your flight is eligible.
