You probably paid a lot for your Air Canada flight, so it’s understandable if you feel frustrated after a bad experience. Instead of swallowing your displeasure, reach out to the airline and let them know what happened. You deserve to be heard, and fortunately, Air Canada’s customer service is pretty good about responding to passenger complaints.
So, if your Air Canada flight was delayed or cancelled, your baggage was lost or damaged, or you just had a generally disappointing experience, you’ll find the contact information you need to file a complaint in this handy little guide.
Before we launch into the contact information, here are a few things to remember that will help you get the most helpful response from the airline:

The following numbers can be used for Air Canada, Air Canada Express, and Air Canada Rouge.
Category | Air Canada Phone Number |
Customer Relations | 1 (888) 247-2262 (Canada & the U.S.) |
Baggage Handling Issues | 1 (888) 689-2247 (Canada & the U.S.) |
Sometimes phoning the airline isn’t the best option. If you’ve tried calling and the wait time for agents is really long, you can reach out to the customer service team on their social media platforms.
It’s best to send a direct message to Air Canada’s social media pages rather than posting publicly. Scams are everywhere on these platforms, and public posting can open you up to fake customer service agents. Also, be very careful about sharing private information.

In place of a public-facing email address, Air Canada provides a form for most areas of concern, including:
In some ways, using a form is better than sending an email. You can still write about the problem you had during your flight and upload supporting documents to better support your case. Each form sends your complaint to the right team, so your message will usually be handled faster than emailing a general inbox.
TIP: Remember to include as much information as possible. You’ll be prompted to provide certain details, but if you can, upload documents, receipts, photos, and anything else that can verify and support your complaint or claim.
You can find these on the Let Us Know page.
