Air Serbia Compensation for Flight Delays & Cancellations

was downgraded to economy from business and was given wrong departure time on flight itinerary. was not informed of downgrade or wrong flight time before arrival to airport.

The airline sent me an email telling me the flight was delayed. I will have to incur extra costs to stay at a Hotel in Athens, Greece. I had a connecting flight from Athens to Paros the same day that I had to rebook.

Caused us to miss another flight from Athens on the same day. We are stuck in Athens with no options. Flight from Serbia to Athens is also not guaranteed.

We have arrived at Paris airport from Belgrade on time. Airport was in such a mess that we had to wait 30 minutes for transfer shuttle bus to get to other terminal. By the time I have ran to my gate, they have already closed it. I had to wait for next day flight and I couldn't get a hotel voucher because Air Serbia was not answering phone calls.

When I arrived for check-in I was told flight will be delayed due to reasons concerning Belgrade airport and plane coming from there. The departure was initially scheduled for 8:25 pm. It was delayed and we departure after midnight (around 12:25 am). We landed in Belgrade at 2:50.

I arrived at the airport 2 h before the flight and it was already written at the board that insteadnof tkaing of at 20:25 we will do it at 00:15. Finally we took off at 00:30. They did not send us any mails or any sort of annoucment beforehand although they knew it was gonna happen (the plane that was supposed to fly us to Belgrade should have tKen off from belgrade at 17.15 or sth like that.

The flight was cancelled 13 minutes before take-off.

Both flights, from Dubrovnik to Belgrade and from Belgrade to Ljubljana were canceled, we were notified one day before. We bought another tickets and few from Dubrovnik to Zagreb by air Croatia.

Once I go to the checkin desk I was informed that due to a lack of Serbian identity document I am not allowed to board. (COVID19 measures). I have never received any alert from the airlines company prior to that date.

I had a vacation for one week in Nice(13-19th July). On the 2nd day of my vacation I got an email saying, that my flight back to Vienna is cancelled and the offered alternative flight is on the next day(15th July), which I couldn't choose actually, because my vacation at that time had just started and, also, I didn't know, if I understood the email right or not. So I decided to call them. I couldn't reach them for 2 days. It was the 4th day of my vacation, when I finally talked with them, they told me they'll call me back during that day. They didn't. So I called them back the next day again. They told me there are no flights to Vienna till the end of the month and if I want to get my money back I have to contact the website from which I bought the ticket. The website (bravofly) doesn't accept any calls now.

Air Serbia has canceled both of my flights

Departed late from Larnaca airport and when we arrived in Belgrade we where informed that the plain left without waiting the passengers from Larnaca

Air Serbia Flight delay compensation The embarkation took place from Bucharest at 8:10 with destination Belgrade at 08:45 on January 3, Friday. (at the box above with the date I am not allowed to tick the date of 3, I do not know what the problem is), but the destination changed later, this being Timisoara, apparently due to weather conditions. We had to stay here from 9:35 am since we landed in Timișoara, (because the aircraft flew over the area to wait for improvements in the weather, which did not appear) until 19:15, when the -My second flight was lost. We were promised that we would be kept up to date with information very frequently, at least every hour, but it was not like that, some people came only once when they asked each of us where we choose to go, back to Bucharest by plane to find each other flights to their destinations, or to Belgrade by bus. I was the only person with a connection who chose to go to Belgrade to solve the problem (hopefully quickly) with the second flight to London. I chose to go because a lady from Timișoara advised me to go, telling me that it is the duty of those from Air Serbia to solve the problem, the second ticket belonging entirely to them. Obviously when I arrived, the gentlemen there refused to listen to everything I told them about their responsibilities to find me another flight to London, saying that it was the duty of the Tarom to do so, motivating that they delayed the flight, so they must also take care of the second flight. On this night of January 3 to 4 I had to stay at the airport (adding to these hours and the previous day entirely spent at the airport in Timisoara) because no one offered me any support of any kind, I was without food, because all the shops at the airport were closed, not to mention transportation or offering a room to sleep in. I spoke with a lady from the Tarom call center, who had a very impertinent attitude when I asked why no one from Tarom helped me with anything, accommodation, transport, ticket change, motivating and dancing in her turn as the other company should to deal with, not Tarom ul. In a word, no one wanted to take responsibility, each blaming the other, which does not seem at all professional for some airlines of such prestige. Please consider all these dramatic aspects that I experienced, alone, in a foreign country, without any help at least from those who delayed the first flight. Without too much information, without detailed explanations and without compassion, some representatives of these companies let so many hours pass, putting innocent people on the road, and leaving them to wait in animal conditions, putting as the main motivation the weather. But from here until I make no effort to help my passengers ... Without words ... It's the first time something like this has happened to me ... At least to offer options, information, support of all kinds, for so that passengers can reach their destination in a timely manner, not after 24 hours from the original date as I arrived. After many requests to Air Serbia, they agreed to change the date, instead of 3 as it was originally, to be on 4, this happening - just an hour before check-in. I was lucky to have a gentleman from the information who helped me with all the steps, his superiors called, and they let him change my flight, still claiming that it was not up to them, but to Tarom, the company that led to flight delays.

We were going to Tirana from Paris by with transit in Belgrad. The flight from tirana to paros was denay 1 hour ,so they havent wait for us. It is the second time ,sunday on 8 dicembre 2019 they dit dhe same thing

No one gave explanation about the delay. It was due the company wrong planning of the previous flight. So it was due to operational reasons.

Flight: 10/07/2019 charles de gaulle paris to airserbia. Depart time 8:30 arrival time in serbia 22:50. Connection 50 minutes then departs from serbia at 22:45 and arrive in beirut 3:20 I had a flight from Charles de Gaulle to Beirut. It had to depart at 8:30 from Paris but it was delayed 1 hour so we departed 9:30 and not 8:30. I had connection in belgrade serbia. The flight from airserbia to beirut was supposed to depart at 22:45 and arrive at 3:20 in Beirut. But since the airplane departed from paris one hour late, i arrived in serbia 23:50 and I lost my flight. They put me on a another flight for 11/07/2019 at 1pm and arrive in beirut 1Am. (12 hours flight!!!!!) Serbia is only 3 hours away from beirut but I will arrive on 12/07/2019 at 1am and not on 10/07/2019 at 3:20. 24 HOURS DELAY!!!!! there were many flight to beirut like Pegasus,Lufthansa, alitalia. But they did not accept. They only accepted that we go from serbia moscow then beirut and 12 HOURS flight !!

I had bought a return ticket Skopje to Madrid through Belgrade and Rome. I was suppose to travel to Madrid with Air Serbia from Skopje to Belgrade, and then with Alitalia from Belgrade to Rome and from Rome to Madrid. The return ticket was from Madrid to Rome with Alitalia, and from Rome to Belgrade and from Belgrade to Skopje with Air Serbia. A few minutes after taking off from Skopje, Air Serbia’s airplane due to technical problems returned to Skopje and after an hour later, they told us that the flight was canceled. As an alternative they offered a flight to Belgrade the next day and then a direct flight from Belgrade to Madrid with Air Serbia. They gave me a new ticket to Madrid and the old ticket with remark “exchanged” was issued where it precisely state that the return flight is “OK TO FLY” The day before returning from Madrid, the agency in Skopje “XXXX” from where I bought the travel ticket informed me that there is a problem with my return ticket. Namely, Alitalia canceled the ticket due to NO SHOW. They advised me to contact Alitalia in Spain, which I immediately did, and after explaining the problem, they assured me that they would inform me as soon as they check my problem. But that did not happen, they never called me back and then again I contacted the agency in Skopje, from where they informed me that they also called Alitalia and that I would not have a problem, just to show my issued ticket at the Alitalia counter on the Madrid airport from where all problems will be solved. When I showed at the Alitalia counter on the airport, they immediately refused me because the return ticket was canceled . They offered me to buy a new ticket and were extremely rude. In addition the communication the ccommunication between the contact center of Air Serbia and the agent on the counter of Alitalia was made through my personal mobile phone, they finally approved the ticket, but only from Madrid to Rome and Rome to Belgrade, but not from Belgrade to Skopje, because there was no place on the flight to Skopje. After I arrived in Belgrade, I had to continue with a private car to Skopje. Who will refund the money for return back?
