In 2022, in our review of the 15 best European airlines, we found that LOT flights were on time 75.72% of the time. Although that number increased very slightly in 2023 to 76%, LOT was the worst airline overall for punctuality.

LOT Routes to Avoid - Flights Frequently Canceled or Delayed

We know that when booking a flight you gotta go where you gotta go, but certain LOT routes with the same departure and arrival airport have better or worse punctuality. In examining the data from FlighStats for the period of May 15, 2024, to July 15, 2024, we found that 3 routes were routinely affected by delays and cancellations (or both).

• Between London Heathrow and Warsaw Chopin: Only 40 to 60% of flights were on time, and up to 29% of them were deemed excessively late.
• Between Warsaw Chopin and Zvarnots, Armenia: 28 to 37% on time; 36% excessively delayed.
• Between Warsaw Chopin and Bucharest Henri Coandă: On-time rates between 41 and 56% and 2% of flights canceled.

Why Is Your Flight on the LOT Flights Canceled List?
