The intended flight AMQ768 did not take place, but the airlines ordered another plane with a departure time of 23:05. As it turned out later, the plane was 40 seats smaller, so my wife and I were delegated to collect our luggage.

They took us by bus under the plane, made us stay locked inside for half an hour and then sent us back, making us leave the airport without providing any kind of information. They just told us to wait. The flight scheduled for 15:40 was reinstated at 19:30

What made the waiting in front of the office for the missing luggage extend by a few more hours?

We were supposed to fly...

We were supposed to fly out of Katowice at 7:00 a.m. to Djerbe on June 23, 2022, but the flight did not take place due to a broken aircraft. We spent over 9 hours at the airport before we finally flew to Djerbe. We arrived at around 10:00 p.m. at night. At the airport in Katowice, they informed us that the flight would be delayed. We were given a warm meal, a sweet croissant, and juices to drink. Because the plane was delayed for so many hours, we lost 1 day of vacation and the costs associated with it.
