My flight was cancelled due...

My flight was cancelled due to a technical problem at Luxembourg airport. I was then put on another flight on that same day. It was very inconvenient since I had an important appointment in Luxembourg that had to be cancelled. We first were informed we could not require a compensation since the technical problem was considered as an "extraordinary situation".

I bought 2 tickets 1 for myself and my daughter’s ticket was directly purchased from Luxair for €291.70. The first flight was for 7:15am and was cancelled, they offered me a flight at 16:50pm which also got cancelled. They charged me €12 for seating each way of the flight to go and to come back. €24 euros in total so a total of €291.70 + €24 for my daughter flight. I spent £9 with a black cab outside LCY to return back home after the first flight at 7.15am was cancelled. £6.93 to return back to the airport for the 16.50 flight which was again cancelled. We were then offered a flight to Rotterdam the next day at 7:35am and expected to get a train to Antwerp which is absolutely not helpful to do with a young child as a single mother alone, in a country I can’t speak the language. I paid £492.53 for my flight and hotel. I want the remaining balance of £68.01 paid back to me as the airline made me waste money by not providing good enough solutions. I missed out on a once in a lifetime family event because of the lack of good communication and planning of the airline.

I was required to re-check...

I was required to re-check in at the OSLO airport with my toddler. The connecting time was just 1 hour 10 min. Collecting baggage took 40 min and waiting, reaching at counter took another 20 min. Nobody was at the counter.
