This is especially true for routes that employ newer aircraft where passengers have reported an overall enjoyable experience. The food is pretty good and the cabin crew are professional and friendly. The flip side is that there are numerous complaints about last-minute delays and cancellations, coupled with poor communication about these disturbances. Also, on some routes, the aircraft are older with maintenance issues which can be concerning if you’re hoping for a more modern plane to fly in. Overall, Air India provides a decent service on some routes and excellent service on others. Just be prepared for flight disruptions.
