The flight was canceled two...

The flight was canceled two time the first one on the 31 rd of january and the second one on the 1 st of february. So we had ti buy another ticket with another company to arrive in Keflavick and we had to book also a room in a hotel in Machester. Because we flight froma Rome to Manchester and then from Manchester to Keflavick.

Worst Airline

Worst flight ever. Everything went wrong. We arrived on time in Iceland, but they kept us on the plane for an extended period, no explanation. We missed our connecting flight by seconds, no fault of our own. Customer service re-booked us, but gave us no information expect the gate where our next flight was leaving. When we got to another airport, in another country, we were told to go ask another airline about where to catch our next flight. Customer Service in Iceland was awful and threated to punish us for being upset about the bad service and were going to make us wait 24 hours. We were forced to board another plane without any idea where we would end up. Then they lost one of our check bags, but managed to get the other bad to our final destination in Munich. This was not the only issues with the flight. The first plane was in poor condition. The overhead compartment was leaking water and the bathroom had large cracks in the wall. The plane was very small for a long flight, and over crowded but the shorter flight was a bigger plane. We saved money on the tickets, but paid for it for days. DO NOT BOOK with Icelandair. It's not worth the risk.

They rebooked me on a...

They rebooked me on a flight from iceland to Denver then Denver to Minneapolis but the connecting flight was arriving an hour and a half after the Denver to Minneapolis flight was scheduled to depart so impossible to make. Then upon request they rebooked me to Toronto then to Minneapolis with a 7 hour layover but then it got delayed so ended up being a 8 hour layover. I had to buy food at the iceland airport which I wouldn’t have had to do with my original flight and I will be arriving to Minneapolis much later than anticipated. Also my 2 flights became 3 and my 12 hour travel day became 24 hours.

Instead of arriving in Keflavik...

Instead of arriving in Keflavik at 6:00am, we arrived 16 hours later at 10:00pm. The airline admitted they could have rebooked us to an earlier flight, and did not follow through with doing so. The Iceland Air customer service repeatedly hung up on us and would not provide assistance.

My flight from Toronto to Rejkevik was delayed causing my flight to Oslo to be backed l cancelled. They then flew me to Bergen, offering to fly me to Oslo from Bergen. I asked them to put me on the flight from Bergen to Kristiansand instead because that's my final destination. I was supposed to take a train there from Oslo but I was really behind schedule. They said they couldn't. I told them they have a codeshare agreement with this company Wideroe and they said they didn't. I bought the extra ticket myself.

The flight was delayed only...

The flight was delayed only 2 hours before scheduled departure and we were already waiting at the boarding gates. We had to find accommodation, pay for it ourselves (expense later) with very little money at the end of our trip. We missed our connection flight from REK to DUB. In total, we were delayed 21 hours and I missed a business meeting that had the potential to close a deal worth $50,000. The rest of the week (Wednesday-Friday) at work was seriously impacted.
