I flew twice with Volotea. Unfortun...

I flew twice with Volotea. Unfortunately, they discontinued the direct flight from Strasbourg to Brest. It was fully booked both ways, so I don’t understand why. So the next time I took the flight Strasbourg to Nantes. The flight was delayed over four hours. I made plenty of proof of the delay and got reimbursement. I subscribed to mega Volotea because of the direct flight from Strasbourg to Brest. Without the direct flight I haven’t much use for this airline.

In 2015, I flew with Volotea from L...

In 2015, I flew with Volotea from London to Brest last year and decided to join the Megavolotea membership. Unfortunately Volotea decided to scrap this route in 2026 and so it became of interest to me. So I decided not to renew (naturally) No card payment is logged against my profile on the app but Volotea still managed to renew my membership regardless at 79.99EUR WITHOUT my consent or notification. This dishonest auto renewal practice must stop as this is simply THEFT, it’s immoral and unethical. My advice: DO NOT fly with VOLOTEA

Only gives refunds in Volotea credit

Very untrustworthy airline. I got an email 3 months before my trip that they were delaying it by 1 hour. Very odd, but okay. It's now 2 months before my trip and they just full on canceled the flight. Fine, I'll just get my money back. THEY ONLY ISSUE RETURNS IN VOLOTEA CREDIT.

Horrible experience departing from Olbia to Rome with the flight diverted to a small town and then literally abandoned at a small isolated airport with no assistance or comfort whatsoever. Complete absence of service. One of the worst travel experiences ever.

The flight left Gatwick 1h...

The flight left Gatwick 1h late. The flight went well. We were landing in Brest, close to the runway, the wheels of the aircraft were out and we could see rooftops and fields very close. Suddenly, the pilots put the gas back on and we soared up. We then spent 40 minutes turning around the airport in the air. The sky was clear with only a few clouds. We were told by the pilot that a computer onboard had technical issues and we were unable to land in Brest. We were then told our flight was diverted to Rennes airport (a 3h drive away by car). No explanation was given as to how we would be able to better land in Rennes. The flight landed in Rennes were weather was stormy (rain. wind and dark clouds). Buses were arranged for passengers, who were told it would be a 3h drive to Brest.

Our flight was delayed over 6 hours per flight aware. No explanation except a little text. We were supposed to arrive at 14:50 and instead didn't land until 20:56 (almost 9 pm) . I had to buy food at the airport, waste my time, and basically missed a night of our vacation. Offered a 15 EURO flight voucher for future use. Also offered a "snack voucher" but I never did figure out where to get it b/c it wasn't main counter. That is all. Filed with airline and it was denied.

We haven’t signed anything ...

We haven’t signed anything after the cancellation of the flight, they gave us vouchers 20€ for each person, and as we wanted to go somewhere for birthday we eventually went to Zagreb with the flight that was around 16:30. First when we arrived at the airport they said that the flight will be delayed for 2 hours and after an hour they cancelled the flight out of nowhere, airline refunded our flight and the vouchers given and that’s it. We had to spend more money to travel to Zagreb and back then to Athens from the flight that was 560€ and hotel was 350€. Thank you for the help in advance.

When I checked in...

When I checked in at the Volotea desk at the airport, the ticket agent told me that I "had a ticket, but not a seat." The flight was oversold and I was placed on the stand-by list; I had to wait until everyone boarded the flight to see if there would be seats available. Another traveler in my group was also put on stand-by; she was the last person able to board. I was unable to get on the flight and was left behind at the airport. I had two options: either spend the night and fly out on the first Volotea flight available in the morning, or purchase a ticket out-of-pocket on a Ryan Air flight leaving at 12:20am. I chose the latter. I had plans first thing that morning with my friends (who boarded the Volotea flight I was supposed to be on) so I needed to get back to Athens ASAP. I returned to my flat around 2AM and ended up getting four hours of sleep. After submitting my claim, Volotea confirmed that I was entitled to compensation of 250 Euro.
