Air Cairo Compensation: How Much Can You Get?
Compensation amounts range from €250-€600 depending on the distance of your Air Cairo flight. So, if your flight was delayed or cancelled, and you arrive more than 3 hours late, your payout would be based on the distance of your flight.

Your Rights as a Royal Jordanian Passenger

When Your Air Cairo Flight is Cancelled
One of the most important steps you can take if your flight gets cancelled is to find out what caused it. This is super important because Air Cairo will only have to pay you if the cause of the cancellation was something that should have been prevented. So, ask the airline what caused the disruption and remember what they say.
Cash compensation will depend on when you were notified
When Air Cairo notifies you of the cancelled flight at least 14 days before departure, you won’t be entitled to financial repayment, but you are owed a replacement flight or a full refund. But understandably, a cancelled flight could completely ruin your plans. So, if you want to abandon your trio, you will get a refund as well as a flight back to where you started.
If Air Cairo cancelled your flight less than 14 days before departure, then you’ll get an alternate flight or a refund, but you can also get financial compensation if the issue causing the disruption could have been prevented, and wasn’t due to extraordinary circumstances.
Air Cairo Flight Delays
If your flight is delayed, you can get care and assistance while you wait in addition to some other entitlements.
If you’re departing from an EU or UK airport and have a delay lasting 2 or more hours, then the airline should compensate you with food and drink coupons plus 2 free phone calls or emails. Be sure to ask for these things if they aren’t offered, and always keep receipts for any purchases you have to make.
Similarly, if you have overnight delays, you’re entitled to overnight lodging and transportation to the accommodation and back. Again, if you have to pay for this yourself, keep your receipts.
If the delay lasts more than 5 hours, you’re entitled to a refund or a rebooking to your destination plus a flight back to your original point of departure if your trip no longer serves a purpose because of the flight delay.

Missed Connections
