If you’ve flown with Cyprus Airways and found your experience to be unsatisfactory in any way, you might want to contact them to lodge a complaint. Skytrax revealed that so far in 2024, the airline has received more complaints than usual. In fact passenger complaints increased by 75.58%, indicating some bigger issues within the industry.

Still, no matter what your concern may be, this article will provide helpful contact information as well as tips on how to submit your complaint to Cyprus Airways.

Cyprus Airways Phone Number

Passengers needing to speak with a representative can call +357 24 00 00 53. Be prepared for long wait times and charges depending on your phone service provider. If you’re currently en route and need assistance for flight delay or cancellation of Cyprus Airways, speaking with an airline's agent can get you the help you need.

Tips for Contacting Cyprus Airways by Phone

  1. Have all your flight information on hand. In order to help you, the airline agent will need basic information about your flight like the booking reference number and other details. So, before you call, make sure you have this handy.
  2. Be patient. If your flight has been impacted by widespread disruptions, remember that you could be on hold for a very long time. Also, remember that the customer service agents are dealing with a wide range of questions and issues, so try to be polite and understanding.
  3. Ask Aphrodite. You might be able to ascertain the best call times by first writing to the chatbot and asking if it knows the best time to call.

Cyprus Airways Chat

If you’re looking for general information, not sure where to start with contacting the airline, or if you need quick help, Aphrodite, the Cyprus Airways chatbot, can assist you. Call volumes tend to be high, but Aphrodite is always available on the website with service in English and Greek.

Cyprus Airways Customer Service Contact Form

Because the airline doesn’t provide a public email address, you’ll have to send your questions, concerns, and complaints to the airline on their customer contact form. You can find it on the CONTACT page on their website and it offers several subjects to choose from, including:

  • Change or reissue ticket
  • Refund request
  • Baggage delay or damage
  • Feedback and complaints
  • Ancillary services
  • Travel information and rules

For complaints about flight interruptions or baggage mishandling, the contact form will be your best bet. There is a comment section provided, but you can also upload attachments. To make this process easier, you can always use one of our complaint templates available for poor service, refunds, and flight irregularities.

Social Media Channels for Cyprus Airways

When you can’t get through on the phone line or when you want to bring attention to a complaint submission, you can always write to Cyprus Airways on Facebook, TikTok, or Instagram. In fact, this contact method works really well in situations where you need help with a rebooking as a result of a severely delayed or cancelled flight.

Things to Remember about Cyprus Airways Complaints

Located in Greece, Cyprus Airways is required to follow the rules of Regulation EU261 since it is part of the European Union. For you as a passenger, this means that you could be in a position to receive as much as €600 for flight delays and other kinds of disruptions. Your rights, especially for baggage mishandling issues, are also protected by the Montreal Convention that requires airlines to compensate you up to €1,599 under certain conditions.

Follow These Steps for a Better Complaint Outcome

  1. Be professional and polite. Even though you’re understandably frustrated, you will get a better response from the airline if you write to them respectfully.
  2. Provide detailed information. Include as many relevant details to your complaint as possible including booking reference number, dates, times, and facts about the issue.
  3. Add documentation. Attach copies of photos, receipts, boarding passes and other information to support and validate your complaint.
  4. Understand your rights. You can even reference the Montreal Convention and EU261 to support your complaint for compensation.
  5. Be persistent. It can take several weeks for the airline to arrive at a conclusion about your complaint or request, but you can always send a follow-up message.

Technical problems

I went to Cyprus Airways booth twice on both ways of my trip. They gave me the email feedback@cyprusairways.com to complain but no one ever replied (5 e-mails from my side). The flight took off late after 4.5 hours so i was late for my connection flight. I lost my Wizz Air connection flight (99eur that were lost as well) and had to stay in airport the whole night + buy new flight tickets + food. I lost a full day of vacation in Milan.
