Avoid Pegasus...
I recently traveled with Pegasus Airlines 22.02.2025, and I must say, it was a profoundly disappointing experience from start to finish. My journey was marked by poor communication, lack of care for passengers, and a general sense of disorganization that left many of us feeling frustrated and helpless. The ordeal began at Amman Airport, where we were informed that our flight would be delayed by 90 minutes. While initially manageable, the situation quickly spiraled. At 2:30 AM, the crew served a meager meal—a sandwich, a slice of cake, and a can of soda. This was the last time we saw any crew member, and it was also the last communication we received from Pegasus regarding our flight status. Hours passed without updates, and the app was not appropriately informing us of the situation. To further complicate matters, we were herded from gate to gate like a flock of sheep. At 9:30 AM, the screen indicated "boarding," yet no crew members were present. As the clock struck 9:50 AM, the screen suddenly went black, and still, there was no announcement or explanation. Feeling increasingly anxious, I called the customer support hotline at exactly 9:50 AM, hoping to get clarity on the situation. To my dismay, the representative simply advised me to leave the airport and go to check-in, oblivious to the fact that leaving the airport in Jordan requires a visa—something I did not have. The lack of knowledge and responsibility on the part of Pegasus was astounding. It wasn’t until 11:00 AM that we received a notification via the app stating our flight had a staggering delay of 540 minutes and was now set to depart at 1:00 PM. Up until that point, there were no refreshments offered, despite the airline’s stated policy that passengers should receive hot and cold beverages and snacks or meals during significant delays. Finally, we caught sight of a crew member only when we were boarding. On the flight, we learned we were expected to purchase our food and drinks. This lack of consideration for passengers who had already endured such delays was disheartening. Once we landed in Istanbul, the chaos continued. There was a massive line of approximately 500 people waiting to reschedule flights and arrange accommodations. The scene was overwhelming—children crying, the elderly looking desperate, and disabled individuals struggling. A few passengers even fainted while waiting. The crew's indifference to the situation was infuriating. After waiting for six hours, with no assistance or clarity on what to do next, I had to take matters into my own hands. Frustrated and exhausted, I booked a hotel for myself at 10 PM. In summary, my experience with Pegasus Airlines was nothing short of horrifying. The lack of communication, inadequate customer support, and disregard for passenger welfare were unacceptable. I strongly advise anyone considering this airline to think twice. I plan to pursue a refund for my dismal journey, but more than that, I hope to deter others from enduring such a nightmare. Avoid Pegasus Airlines for your own sake!
