Lengthy application process - seems like it needs the same things repeatedly. Worth persevering.

It takes a long time to send and copy all the papers, but the Communication was good. Emirates cancelled our Flight back to Germany because of the Iranwar. So we had to spend 3 Nights in Capetown an book a new flight back to Germany for 1.250 € with ethiopian airlines instead of 555 € before with Emirats. We booked a Flight Hamburg-Capetown -Hamburg we were shure, that the European rules made our flight saven because our Flight started in Germany and it should end in Germany. But the arguments for not paying a refund for the additional costs for our flight was, that the flight back to Germany didn‘ t start in EU but in Capetown! So everybody should check seriously the terms and conditions before booking a non European Airline. It could be a expensiv experiance. See the explanation of Emirates!
