Loganair is a regional airline servicing mostly UK-based destinations. If you’ve flown with Loganair recently and want to make a complaint, we have everything you need here. From poor service to issues with Loganair flight disruptions, it sometimes feels like complaints have become a common part of air travel these days.
For 2023, the CAA (UK’s Civil Aviation Authority) received 58 new Loganair complaints for regulation UK261 alone. Like EU261 in Europe, this regulation covers passenger rights when a flight is delayed or cancelled and problems like denied boarding and missed connections with UK airlines. Many passengers don’t even know they can complain for compensation, so the actual numbers a likely much higher.

As is customary with airlines, Loganair has a few contact methods available to its passengers. They have a call centre that’s open for fairly limited hours, live chat, or the option to send an online form that acts like an email. They also have a presence on social media.
Calling is the fastest way to get an answer and resolve an urgent Loganair complaint. You can call Monday to Friday between 8 AM and 6 PM, Saturday from 8 AM to 2 PM, and Sunday from 10 AM to 5 PM.
Disrupted Loganair flights may qualify for up to £520 in compensation when you make a complaintStart the risk-free and fast process here. Check Your Flight
Since Loganair does not offer 24-hour phone service, likely due to the size of the airline, time your calls wisely.

Loganair doesn’t publish an email address for complaints at all. Instead, they consider their online forms the same as an email. Although not technically an email, the forms function much the same way as you’ll have a record of your Loganair complaint and a ticket number to reference.
Currently, Loganair offers live chat from 8 AM to 5:45 PM on weekdays, from 9 AM to 3:45 PM on Saturdays, and between 11 AM and 5:45 PM on Sundays. It’s a bit tricky to find as it’s only available from the “Contact Us”page and there is a small, red chat bubble in the bottom right corner of the screen.

Since the Loganair complaints contact methods are limited to phone calls, chat, and forms/email, the airline’s social media policy specifies that these platforms (they’re active on X, Facebook, and Instagram) can be used for everything from questions to feedback, ie: complaints.
On the Loganair “Contact Us” page, you’ll find a button that says “Email Us.” As mentioned, this isn’t email in a conventional sense but rather an online form where you can select your issue from a drop-down menu. For Loganair complaints purposes, the most useful options will be:
Select the most appropriate option, and you’ll need to follow the prompts to input a bunch of details regarding your situation.
Even in the best customer service department, requests can slip through the cracks. If Loganair has ignored your request (you should give them at least 28 days to reply), then your choices are to:

For the UK261 compensation form, navigate to the “Contact Us” section and click on “Email Us.” From there, choose the option of “I would like to make a compensation claim.” Then, enter all the necessary details, which will be things like your email address, booking reference, flight number, and claim type. The claim types include:
You also need to know your passenger rights as they will ask you for your claim total. In simple terms, this will likely be £220, £350, or £520, depending on the distance of your flight. And because Loganair doesn’t fly long distances, it’s much more likely that you’ll be claiming £220 or £350 plus additional expenses. Our free compensation calculator is useful here.

The best method is using their email/form option. You’ll be able to think about what you want to say and have a clear record of the Loganair complaint. Since a well-crafted complaint can show the airline that you’re serious, consider using the following templates as a guideline at least:
Another way to file a Loganair complaint for flight disruptions is to partner with us. This only works if you’ve tried to complain directly to Loganair and have not received a reply or the appropriate amount of compensation. With us, your claim is more likely to be successful and we do all the heavy lifting for you so that you can focus on other things, namely how to spend the compensation we win.
As their primary method of contact for passengers, if the online forms aren’t working, it’s a problem. This could be due to a site-wide glitch or incorrect information entered by you. To figure out the issue, you'll need to spend time calling Loganair customer service or using live chat to figure things out.
We always work on a no-win, no-fee structure, so using our quick website form to file a claim is risk-free.
