Operating out of a main hub at Seoul’s Incheon International Airport, Korean Air is the country’s flag carrier and aims for a high level of service. But things can happen to disrupt your journey, and in 2023, Korean Air received 3 new Regulation UK261 complaints in total.
Although that seems like really good news, we should note that not every passenger is aware of their EU261 or UK261 rights, so not all complaints are submitted. Additionally, Korean Air flies to destinations all over Europe, so there are likely many more complaints, especially about flight delays and cancellations.
Regardless of the subject of your complaint, using the appropriate Korean Air contact methods is important. As a passenger, you can complain about anything unsatisfactory, including Korean Air flight disruptions, poor service, and airline policies. This is what you need to know:

Contacting Air Korea is available via phone, feedback forms, email (although not recommended), and social media. The number you call depends on your region, whereas the other Korean Air contact methods work globally.
The best way to reach Korean Air for an issue that requires an immediate resolution is by phone. The phone lines are available 24/7 in English and Korean. All the customer service contact info is divided by area.
Luckily, since the Korean Air contact centre is open 24/7, you can call anytime for English communication on these numbers:
| United Kingdom: | 0800-0265-883 (toll-free) |
| Ireland: | 1-800-832-378 (toll-free) |
| Other Areas in Europe: | +33-1-5345-3177 |
| USA/Canada: | 1-800-438-5000 (toll-free) |
Roaming charges may apply, even with the toll-free numbers, depending on your phone plan.

Korean Air does have a customer service e-mail, but it’s not their preferred contact method. E-mails may not receive a quick response (or a response at all). If you absolutely need to send an email, use this address:
Lodging your Korean Air complaint via social media can be a strategic move, especially if you are not getting a reply using other methods. The airline maintains accounts on all the popular platforms, including X, Facebook, and Instagram. If you need to draw attention to your issue, using social media may sometimes have the highest impact. It’s preferred to e-mail.
The Korean Air website directs you to a feedback form when you want to make a complaint. Click on “Send us your comments,” and you’ll be asked to either login or continue as a guest. Logging in is recommended, especially if you’re a SKYPASS member, as you’ll have better access to information.
While the website doesn’t have live chat per se, it does have a chatbot that can help answer general questions, but this is not a good way to submit a Korean Air complaint.
If all the Korean Air contact options have been exhausted but you haven’t received a reply, AirAdvisor is a good ally. We can assist passengers with everything from flight delays and cancellations to missed connections and denied boarding. We know how to deal with difficult airlines, so leave it with us and save yourself the hassle.

There is no EU/UK261-specific form available on the Korean Air website. As a result, for compensation claims related to flight disruptions, you’ll need to use the general “Send us your comments” form.
First, you need to decide whether you’re submitting the complaint yourself or want to rely on us to help. If you’re doing things yourself, you can simply call or submit the form to start the lengthy process.
Sending your Korean Air complaints in writing is preferred so that you have a record of everything. If you need something to get the ball rolling, we have some helpful templates you can use in the text portion of the online form:
If the form doesn’t work for your situation, you can’t figure it out, or it’s not loading, your best bet is to leave the hard work to us. The other option is to send an e-mail with your Korean Air complaint, call for assistance, or wait for the technical challenges to resolve.
We can help with your delayed or cancelled flight compensation claim whenever you need it. We have a full team of airline compensation experts who are responsible for over 650,000 successful claims so far. And we’re still going strong!
