Even though I am a Delta Gold member, I was forced to put my carry on bag, which I am normally allowed onboard (quite small but hardcase) in hold at the gate. I did not have a lock on the bag and it was done so quickly I was not able to retrieve my jewelry case. Arriving in time at JFK, we had to wait 45 minutes outside the plane on the skyway to get our bags. The 45 minutes was unacceptable, however I travel a lot and try not to get upset. When I got to my final destination in London, found my jewelry case was missing, from inside the bag. I did have my bag onboard the next flight with me. I emailed Delta twice, with no response. Delta will not accept responsibility or even email me back about it! Photo is me and my luggage waiting at the Delta Lounge at JFK unaware that my jewelry has been stolen. I was flying to my husbands funeral, so I had most of my good, sentimental, jewelry with me. I am very very upset with Delta to not even acknowledge my persistence with the loss. I fly back and forth to London 5-6 times a year, not to mention work and vacation trips. I can’t even get an email to tell them this, I keep getting directed back to complaints which they close immediately.
Preferred solution: Apology / Voucher, First an acknowledgement that it happened. Second a voucher for another flight to London which was my final destination. I cannot recreate my husbands funeral, but the jewelry was at least $100,000. I realize no one will reimburse me for that, some lucky Delta employee hit the jackpot with my loss, and will never know the sentimental value of everything.

Staff member REES on this flight is very unprofessional and has an nasty attitude towards customers. I was acknowledged with " What's up" when I asked her an question regarding ear buds for my niece. Your staff member did ask us for ear buds which I initially stated "NO" I did not need any. My 8 yr old niece then asked if she could have a pair. So REES came back pass and was asked, she then turned around with "What's up and baby girl I asked if you wanted a pair and you said "No". Im all out of them, I mean". Along with that statement she was shrugging her shoulders and rolling her eyes. Children change their minds constantly this she knows because she works with the public and many kids. However what I am righting can never amount to what I've experience with her tone of voice and the way it was said. This is unacceptable. She only needed to say we are all out. That I can understand. I do not understand professional unprofessional people who has this kind of job around people daily. Just imagine whom else has to experience this. Even another customer stopped me as we left the plane in the airport speaking on her unprofessionalism. Delta represent differently so your advertisement states, not only the amount of money my family spent to decide to fly with Delta. She also stated on the speaker phone of the cabin to not like her if you need something, because she was not a pin cushion. Who does all of this? No people should not like you yet people do because it is a way of getting someone's attention in a harmless way. I understand we all have bad days and may not feel well at times, but we have to try to clean it up for our customers. This staff member needs educated on what company she represents and also on how to be respectful when engaging with customers or else she is going to hurt your company due to being a staff member on many of your flights

Untimely scheduling to catch flights causes one to miss

Hello yes an email for conversation for the ticket for Tampa to Little Rock Arkansas supposed to arrive by 11 AM, June 15, 2024 boarding ended before I could successfully make it to the gate terminal from check-in and then I had to wait a few hours to catch the next flight. And it gets me to Atlanta late. I went straight from the air flight to my on boarding gate and it was already closed so I missed another connection. Due to untimed scheduling. Then I was giving another on boarding after missing that D8A TO GET TO LITTLE ROCK FROM ATLANTA ENDED UP WITH ANOTHER BOARDING FOR 5:40 MAKING ME ARRIVE AT 6:14 PM SEVERAL WHOLE HOURS AFTER I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE OFF THE PLANE AND WORKING THE JOB I HAVE COME TO DO I Am requesting a refund due to the big inconvenience. My flight was delayed 6 times then finally ca cancelled

My flight 1944 on 5/27/24 was delayed 6 times I sat at the airport all day I to the night and then they said the whole flight was cancelled. I spent t 300 in ground transportation due to this paid for food and hotel and other expenses and lost two days work.

Good Afternoon, I recently traveled with Delta on 6/5/24 flight 1863. The seat was assigned to me but another customer came up to me and asked if we could exchange seats and we both came to an agreement and were fine. Then the flight attendant Shanique came up to me and was being very rude to me about the seat without knowing the situation. She never asked what was going on and just assumed that I sat in a random seat. Was told very rudely that I had to pay extra for that seat without knowing the situation first.
