We get it. The stress is real, but you’re in the right place because we’re going to help you figure out how to navigate the inconvenience and get compensated for your trouble!
What You’ll Need to Check Your Compensation Eligibility
To check your eligibility and how much compensation you could receive, you’ll need to provide information about your flight(s) including:
- Travel dates
- Departing and arrival airports
- Your airline
- Information on the flight disruption
- Why your flight was delayed or cancelled (it’s OK if you don’t know)
Don’t worry if you don’t have all the information. Each step gives you options in a drop-down menu so you can choose the answer that fits. Once you start a claim, we’ll request additional documentation and details, so you can get the maximum payout possible. Sounds good, right?

Step 3
Just enter your flight details and basic information, and we’ll help you to get your payout! We’ve added the following screenshots to show you how the claim process works.

Does the Amount Depend On the Ticket Price?
The compensation amounts do not depend on the price of your flight ticket. They are defined by the distance of your flight.
The only exception is that you are entitled to compensation of up to £350 for the delayed flights departing and arriving entirely within the EU.
For example: if you had a flight from Paris to Tenerife, you are eligible for compensation of £350 only even though the distance between the cities is more than 2,175 miles (3,500km).
To be sure, check how much the flight delay compensation is in your case with the help of our calculator above.
