Discriminated against and disappointed

While flying from Athens,i had a bad experience with a supervisor named Cristina Balioh. She was disrespectful, spok very aggressively, even using swear words(Fuck).I find It shocking that someone like that works for such a well-known company.

Terrible not taking Responsibility nor Accountability

⭐ 1 Star Review – Etihad completely abandoned me after the flight I fly frequently and usually choose business class with premium airlines for reliability and peace of mind. While my inflight experience with Etihad from Bangkok to Barcelona was pleasant, what happened afterward was absolutely unacceptable for an airline that calls itself five-star. My baggage was lost upon arrival, and from that moment, Etihad disappeared. Their outsourced handling company, Groundforce, in Barcelona and Mallorca showed zero professionalism — no updates, no empathy, no initiative. I was told my bags would be delivered to my hotel, but after several days of silence, I finally received a call saying I could either pick them up at the airport myself or they would remain there. That was it. There was no follow-up from Etihad, no apology, no single call or email. I was left completely stranded — abandoned by an airline that takes no responsibility once you step off the plane. Etihad may offer good onboard service, but when things go wrong, they fail spectacularly. This experience showed me the difference between Etihad and true five-star airlines like Emirates or Qatar Airways, who actually stand by their passengers beyond the flight. Etihad’s lack of care and accountability ruined what could have been a good journey.

Flight delay

Comparable to other Middle Eastern airlines. First time through Abu Dhabi new terminal - WAY better than it's predecessor. Stuff happens to cause delays, and though I didn't want to spend 24 hours in Abu Dhabi, Etihad looked after me while I was there. BUT, Etihad shouldn't really accept bookings where transfer times are less than 2 hours. Fact is, I should've been in Melbourne 24 hours earlier, and it's Etihad's fault that I wasn't.

worse customer and credit service ever

more then one whole day delay and different flight that had 2 connection and another 15 hours waiting and promised for contact which never happen and after almost 8 month still struggling to get the compensation they promised , every time they find an alibi not to give the pin code and every time they ask you what is the email connected to the booking and so on and so on and so on and they push you to make mistake and they try to hold you up, best way to take them to court just to have the pleasure of seeing them defeated in the court of law maybe that will deter them for doing the same things to other but in another hand they are like alligators they have no feelings but to steal our money

Worst Flight Experience

@EtihadHelp @etihad My brother’s first-ever trip to Europe turned into a 60-hour nightmare instead of the 16 hours it should’ve been. Flights: EY42 (Schiphol → Abu Dhabi) & EY296 (later EY294) to Karachi on 4 Aug 2025. 1/ It began with an 18-hour delay in Schiphol. No hotel because of his single-entry visa. He spent the freezing night on airport benches—no food, no blankets, no care. 2/ In Abu Dhabi, his original flight was just 2 hrs after landing, but it was delayed, and then Etihad pushed him onto another flight 14 hrs later. They took 4 hrs to issue a transit visa, leaving him only 4 hrs to rest at the hotel. 3/ When he returned to the airport, he was told his flight was delayed another 3 hrs. 4/ What should’ve been an exciting first trip ended in exhaustion and trauma—for him and for us as a family. No apology. No empathy. No proper support. This is inhumane. @etihad, we demand accountability and compensation. #EtihadAirways #FlightDelay #PassengerRights #TravelNightmare

On Sunday 24 April I...

On Sunday 24 April I flew from Dublin Airport to Sydney with Etihad. I was due to have a 2.5 hour stopover in Abu Dhabi. The flight was delayed leaving Dublin and as a result when it landed in Abu Dhabi the connecting flight to Sydney had left. There was no one around to answer my questions and as I was flying solo I was very anxious. Eventually someone told us that certain boarding passes were printed for new flights for those who missed a connecting flight. I found my name on a ticket which said I was due to fly the following day at 10am from Dubai, at this point it was 11pm and I was very stressed out.
