Denied boarding

Avoid at all costs! My experience with Ryanair was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. If I could give zero stars, I would. Unreliable & Delays: Our flight was delayed for hours with zero communication or updates from the staff. Overbooked & Disorganized: They clearly overbook their flights, creating chaotic boarding lines and massive stress for passengers. Appalling Customer Service: The crew and gate agents were profoundly rude, dismissive, and unhelpful when asked basic questions. Hidden Fees & Double Charging: We were unfairly double-charged for baggage due to their confusing and predatory systems, and getting support for a refund is impossible. Dirty Cabin: The plane interior was filthy, with trash left in the seat pockets and sticky tray tables. Save your money, your time, and your sanity—fly with literally anyone else.

The flight was delayed several times the last one when I was already at the airport. In addition to having to wait 3 hours at the airport I also missed my destination transportation (another five hours). Ryanair were not helpful and just quoted disclaimers when I called. Avoid!

Desperately short of human interaction.

After being diagnosed with lung cancer I was forced to cancel a much needed trip to Lanzarote. But Ryanair refuse to cancel my reservations and tell me their no refund policy. I accept the no refund, but just require proof that I wish to cancel my flights. The first chatbot agent disconnected himself from our conversation and the second was as helpful as a chocolate fireguard. WHY won't they allow me to talk to a human?

Flight delay

Terrible experience, terrible service. They give you the illusion that the flight is cheap and then add on 500% more surcharges. The flight was delayed 5 hours and we missed our other flight because of it. Had to get a hotel. They aren’t responding to the claim. Just terrible. I will never be flying with Ryanair ever again.

Ryanair Deliberately Splits Families Apart — Absolutely Disgraceful

This is one of the most disgusting examples of how an airline can squeeze extra money out of its passengers. We are a family of four, including two children. We checked in literally one minute after online check-in opened, when the aircraft was still practically empty. And what did Ryanair’s system do? It assigned EVERY SINGLE MEMBER OF OUR FAMILY to a different row, in different parts of the aircraft, as far away from each other as possible. Not two of us together and two separately. Not even seats in neighbouring rows. Four family members. Four separate seats. Four different rows. Spread across the aircraft. Seriously? It is extremely difficult to believe that this is random. When a practically empty aircraft has a family of four on the same booking and the system manages to scatter every single person across different rows, it looks very much like the seat-allocation algorithm has been designed to separate passengers travelling together. And why would an airline do that? The obvious answer is: to make people pay. Create the problem, make the experience deliberately uncomfortable, separate parents and children, and then charge the passengers extra money to fix the problem the system itself created. If this is how Ryanair’s seat-allocation system is designed, it is an absolutely disgraceful business practice. We are not talking about passengers demanding premium seats for free. We are talking about a family with two children simply wanting to sit together, or at the very least somewhere reasonably close to each other, on an aircraft that was practically empty when check-in opened. Instead, Ryanair apparently sees even this basic expectation as another opportunity to extract money. There is low-cost travel, and then there is treating your customers like human cattle who can be deliberately scattered around an aircraft until they pay more money. That is exactly how this experience made us feel. Ryanair management should be embarrassed that their product creates this impression. If your business model requires making families unnecessarily uncomfortable so that they feel pressured to purchase seat assignments, then perhaps management should ask themselves whether they are still providing a service to passengers or simply looking for increasingly cynical ways to monetise them. A family of four. Two children. Check-in one minute after it opened. A practically empty aircraft. Every family member allocated a different row, far away from the others. Call it “random allocation” if you want. As a passenger, I call it what it looks like: a system designed to turn basic human consideration into another extra fee. Absolutely disgraceful.

Flight delay

I believe that passengers were deliberately mislead in the certain flight from the company. We were literally held hostages in the aeroplane for 5 hours in order to maximise their profit.
